Abstract

The invention relates to a piece of furniture (1) comprising at least two drawers (2, 3, 4) which lie one above the other and which comprise similar front panels (5) that can be removably connected to lateral walls (6, 7) of the drawers (2, 3, 4) via furniture fittings (10, 20). The furniture fittings (10, 20) can be fixed in bores (51, 52) of the front panels (5) using fixing elements (8) which lie one above the other. Each furniture fitting (10, 20) has three fixing points (11, 12, 13, 21, 22, 23) for the fixing elements (8), each said furniture fitting (10, 20) being fixed to the front panel (5) at only two fixing points (11, 12, 13, 21, 22, 23) of the furniture fitting (10, 20) by means of the fixing elements (8) in order to determine a different height of the front panel (5) relative to the lateral wall (6, 7) of the drawer (2, 3, 4).

Description

Furniture

The invention relates to a piece of furniture with at least two superimposed drawers with similar front panels, which are detachably connected via furniture fittings with side walls of the drawers, the furniture fittings are fastened with superimposed fasteners in holes in the front panels.

Furthermore, the invention relates to a kit for the production of a piece of furniture.

Furniture with superimposed drawers, in which the front panels are similar, are known in a variety of the prior art. A problem that arises is that the lowermost drawer bottom panel should not be located at the same position as the top drawer front panels because the front panel of the bottom drawer should also cover a floor of the cabinet body to achieve an aesthetically pleasing image.

The object of the invention is to provide a comparison with the prior art improved furniture.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1 and with the features of claim 5. To be particularly advantageous, it has been found, when establishing a first altitude of the front panel relative to the side wall of the drawer, the fasteners with the top two of the three attachment points are connected and that for fixing a second altitude of the front panel relative to the side wall of the drawer, the fasteners with the lower two of the three attachment points are connectable and that in both altitudes, the fasteners are each fastened in the same two holes of the front panel. By appropriate selection of the upper and lower attachment points of the furniture fitting thus a displacement of the front panel can be achieved relative to the side walls of the drawer, in which case always get the same holes in the front panel used.

Particularly preferably, it can be provided that the lowermost drawer of the furniture has a front panel which is designed to be lower lying relative to the side wall of the drawer and that all other drawers have a front panel which is designed to be higher relative to the side walls of the drawers. Thus, a piece of furniture can be achieved that has a plurality of drawers with the same front panels, which are arranged at the same height relative to the side walls of the drawer and that this furniture further comprises a drawer whose front panel is lower - relative to the side walls of the drawer - is arranged whereby a front side of a floor of a furniture body can be covered and thus an aesthetically pleasing furniture can be achieved. The connection takes place via the fastening elements 8, which are inserted into the bores 51 and 52 in the front panel. As can be clearly seen in this illustration of FIG. 2, the front panel 5 of the uppermost drawer 2 extends as far as the upper edge of the furniture carcass 90, whereby the front side 91 of the carcass cover is covered in the closed state of the drawer 2. The same applies to the drawer 4, in which the front panel 5 in the closed state of the drawer 4 covers the bottom of the cabinet bottom 92. This is not achieved by differently shaped front panels 5, but in that the positioning of the front panels 5 takes place on the drawer side walls 6 and 7 at a different height to this.

Figure 3 shows a side view of a piece of furniture 1, as just shown in Figure 2, with the difference that in the two lower drawers 3 and 4, the covers of the side walls 7 have been removed. In this illustration, the upper furniture fittings 10 and the lower furniture fittings 20 of the drawers 3 and 4 are now recognizable, which were fastened to the holes 51 and 52 by means of the fastening elements 8 (for clarity, not shown in this figure 3, see Figure 2).
