Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cable connection component for the electrically conductive connection of a cable having at least one core to a connection body, with a union nut having an internal thread and with a wire receiving and guiding part having a plurality of cuts.
  • a union nut having an internal thread
  • a wire receiving and guiding part having a plurality of cuts.
  • the wire insulation of imported into the wire receiving and guide wire ends is arranged in the connection body and cut into the cuts in the wire receiving and guide part cutting clamps and become the head of the wires contacted.
  • the invention also relates to a cable connection device and a cable connection device with a cable connection component according to the invention and a device connection component or a cable connection component.
  • a cable connection component is known as part of a cable connection device with which the wires of a multicore cable can be connected in a simple manner to the connection elements of a device connection component or a cable connection component, without first having to remove the core insulation of the individual conductors.
  • the individual wires of the cable are first introduced into the wire receiving and guiding part, which is often referred to as a splice or splice. Then the wire ends are bent over and inserted into recesses in the wire receiving and guiding part, which serve as retention stops for the wires during the radial deflection.
  • Such constructed cable connection or connection devices which basically already from the DE 295 12 585 U1 and the DE 198 36 662 C2 are well established in practice for over ten years and in particular by the applicant under the product name QUICKON ® in various embodiments extensively distributed (see Prospectus "PLUSCON 2011" pages 8 and 9 and pages 92 and 92, the Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG, Blomberg).
  • the DE 103 29 772 B4 discloses a cable connection device, in which therefore has been deliberately dispensed with a fixation of the wire receiving and -fiihrungsteils in the nut.
  • the resulting “disadvantage" that when loosening the connection after unscrewing the union nut from the terminal body, the cable still remains connected, because the contact elements of the terminal and terminal unit the clamped conductors still "hold", thereby compensated by the Connection body is formed in the axial direction and at a radial distance from the external thread of the connector body extending support and retaining element that serves as an abutment for a tool with which the splice member can be levered out of the connector body.
  • a groove is formed on the outside of the wire receiving and guiding part as an engaging portion for a tool.
  • the cable connection component described above in which the previously indicated problem is solved, namely a once connected cable with low Effort can be solved again, is characterized in that the union nut has a second internal thread, wherein the thread pitch g 1 of the first internal thread is greater than the thread pitch g 2 of the second internal thread and that the wire receiving and guiding part has a radially extending collar, which is adapted in shape to the profile of the thread of the second internal thread and cooperates therewith.
  • the union nut thus has two internal threads with different pitches, wherein the coarser thread cooperates with the external thread of the connection body and the finer thread with the collar of the wire receiving and - arrangementsteils together.
  • the collar protruding radially on the wire receiving and guiding part could extend by more than 360 °, so that the collar itself forms an external thread corresponding to the second internal thread. Since the federal government on the wire receiving and guide part - unlike the external thread on the connection body - not for fixed fixation of the union nut on the wire receiving and - Evaluationsteil, but only to take along the wire receiving and - Resultssteils when unscrewing the nut, it is sufficient when the collar extends less than 360 ° or consists of at least two radially spaced sections.
  • the union nut has two internal threads with different thread pitches. Basically it is there possible that the union nut has a two-start thread, so that the two internal threads overlap over their entire length or at least a large part of their length.
  • the collar is performed in the second, finer internal thread.
  • the first, coarser internal thread is then screwed onto the external thread and at the same time the wire receiving and - guide part with the collar further screwed into the second internal thread.
  • the second internal thread in the screwing at least partially behind the corresponding external thread of the connector body first internal thread.
  • dispensed with a two-start thread so that the second internal thread is arranged in the screwing completely behind the first internal thread.
  • the shape of the collar on the wire receiving and guide part must be designed so that it is adapted to the one part of the profile of the thread of the second internal thread, on the other hand also allows a screwing the wire receiving and - arrangementsteils in the first internal thread.
  • the collar When assembling the wire receiving and guiding part and the union nut, the collar must first be turned through the first internal thread of the union nut to its end.
  • the federal government and thus also the wire receiving and guiding part assumes an axial misalignment corresponding to the thread pitch of the first internal thread, which does not seriously hinder the screwing in of the wire receiving and guiding part.
  • the wire receiving and guide part is automatically aligned axially again.
  • the joining of the wire receiving and guiding part and the union nut can be further simplified according to a further embodiment in that the first internal thread has a larger diameter than the second internal thread, so that the nominal diameter of the first internal thread is greater than the outside diameter of the collar.
  • the first internal thread, the second internal thread and the collar are preferably arranged and formed on the wire receiving and guiding part such that when the first internal thread is completely unscrewed from the external thread of the connection body, the collar is still connected to the second internal thread in FIG Intervention is.
  • Such a configuration means that after unscrewing the union nut from the connection body when removing the union nut, the already partially pulled wire receiving and guide part is automatically completely pulled out of the connector body. An additional, separate pulling out of the wire receiving and - Adjuststeils From the connection body after unscrewing the union nut from the external thread of the connection body is thus not required.
  • the aforementioned dimensioning of the first internal thread and the second internal thread can be achieved, for example, by the length l 1 of the first internal thread being greater than the length l 2 of the second internal thread, and the length l 2 of the second internal thread being greater than the difference between the second internal thread Length l 1 of the first internal thread and the length l 2 of the second internal thread.
  • the first internal thread and the second internal thread have an equal number of thread crests.
  • the invention also relates to a cable connection device for electrically conductive connection of a cable to an electrical device.
  • electrical device is electrical device to understand in general terms;
  • the term electrical device also includes electrical components, devices and devices.
  • the electrical device can be, for example, a lamp or a lamp pan, a fan, a radiant heater or else a sensor / actuator box.
  • Such a cable connection device has, in addition to a previously described cable connection component, a device connection component which has a connection body with an external thread corresponding to the first internal thread.
  • a clamping and connection unit is arranged, which has insulation displacement terminals and connection elements.
  • the insulation displacement terminals are arranged on the side facing the cable connection component side and the connection elements on the side facing away from the cable connection component.
  • these are integrally formed metal parts on one side as insulation displacement terminals and formed on the other side as connecting elements.
  • the connecting elements in turn can preferably be designed as pin or book contacts.
  • the present invention also relates to a cable connection device for the electrically conductive connection of two cables.
  • a cable connecting device which is often also referred to as a cable connector, in addition to a cable connection component according to the invention nor a cable connection component.
  • the cable connection component has a connection body with an external thread corresponding to the first internal thread of the union nut and a clamping and connection unit with insulation displacement terminals and with connection elements.
  • the insulation displacement terminals on the cable connection component facing and the connection elements on the opposite side are also arranged in the clamping and connection unit of the cable connection component.
  • connection elements that serve to connect the wires of the second cable
  • the known from the prior art connection techniques such as screw or spring terminal connection can be used.
  • the connection elements are designed as insulation displacement terminals, so that in the clamping and connection unit of the cable connection component, a plurality of metal parts are formed, which are configured on both sides as insulation displacement terminals.
  • the connection body then has a second external thread, so that the union nut of a second cable connection component can also be screwed onto the second side of the connection body and thus a wire receiving and guiding part can be inserted into the connection body.
  • FIG. 1 an inventive cable connection component 1 is shown, which consists of a union nut 3 with a first internal thread 2 and a plurality of incisions 4 having wire receiving and guiding part 5. While in Fig. 1 the union nut 3 shown in longitudinal section and the wire receiving and guide part 5 are shown in the non-connected state shows Fig. 3 the composite cable connection component 1 together with an external thread 6 having connection body 7, wherein the external thread 6 is formed corresponding to the first internal thread 2 of the union nut 3, so that the union nut 3 can be screwed with the first internal thread 2 on the external thread 6 of the connection body 7.
  • the cable is first inserted into the cable connection component 1 by the end of the cable inserted through the rear opening 8 in the union nut 3 in the wire receiving and guide part 5 so far is that the individual wire ends protrude on the end face facing away from the union nut 3 from the wire receiving and guide part 5. Subsequently, the individual wire ends are folded outward and thereby pressed into the recesses 9, which serve as restraint locks for the wire ends. As a result, the wire ends intersect the incisions 4, it comes when screwing the nut 3 on the connector body 7 for cutting the wire ends and then contacting the conductors of the individual wires through the arranged in the connection body 7 insulation displacement terminals 10. The insulation displacement terminals 10 slide into the wire in the wire receiving and guide part 5, frontally open cuts 4, whereby a reliable contact the incisions crossing, outwardly folded wire ends is ensured by the insulation displacement terminals 10.
  • the union nut 3 On the basis of the union nut 3 shown cut there, the union nut 3, in addition to the first internal thread 2, a second internal thread 11 that is arranged in the screwing A behind the external thread 6 of the connecting body 7 corresponding first internal thread 2.
  • the first internal thread 2 and the second internal thread 11 have different thread pitches, wherein the thread pitch g 1 of the first internal thread 2 is greater than the thread pitch g 2 of the second internal thread 11.
  • the thread pitch g 1 of the first internal thread 2 is more than twice as large as the thread pitch g 2 of the second internal thread 11.
  • the second internal thread 11 cooperates with a radially extending collar 12 formed on the wire receiving and guiding part 5, which is adapted in its cross-sectional shape to the profile of the thread of the second internal thread 11. While cooperating when unscrewing and screwing the union nut 3 on the connecting body 7, the first internal thread 2 with the external thread 6, the second internal thread 11 cooperates with the collar 12.
  • unscrewing the union nut 3 of the connection body 7 this results in an axial relative movement not only between the union nut 3 and the connection body 7 but also between the wire receiving and guiding part 5 and the connection body 7, as can be seen from a comparison of Fig. 2a and 2b is apparent.
  • the wire receiving and - guide member 5 is automatically pulled out of the connector body 7, whereby the wire ends are pulled out of the insulation displacement terminals 10.
  • the collar 12 is arranged on the wire receiving and guiding part 5 such that the difference between the length l 1 of the first internal thread 2 and the length l 2 of the second internal thread 11 is smaller than the length l 2 of the second internal thread 11.
  • the second internal thread 11 has a smaller thread pitch g 2 than the first internal thread 2
  • the axial movement of the wire receiving and guiding part 5 in the connecting body 7 per revolution of the union nut 3 is smaller than the thread pitch g 1 of the first internal thread 2 each turn of the union nut 3 arranged in the wire receiving and guide part 5 wire ends are thus pressed only a small piece in the insulation displacement terminals 10 in the connection body 7, so that The power required when wiring is so low that even a cable with four or more wires can still be connected by hand.
  • the wire receiving and guide part 5 on the opposite side of the recesses 9 has a Switzerlandentlastungs- and sealing region 13, which consists of a plurality of annularly arranged fins 14 and arranged in the interior of the fins 14 seal 15.
  • the slats 14 act while screwing the nut 3 with a provided on the inside of the union nut 3 chamfer 16 in the manner of a so-called PG gland so that when screwing the union nut 3 on the connector body 7, the fins 14 are pressed against the seal 15, resulting in a seal and at the same time a strain relief of an inserted cable.
  • Cable connection device 17 shown consists of a cable connection component 1 and a device connection component 18.
  • the cable connection component 1 in this case has a union nut 3 and a wire receiving and guiding part 5.
  • the device connection component 18 consists of the connection body 7 and the clamping and connection unit 19 arranged in the connection body 7, which has a number of metal parts 20 corresponding to the number of wires to be connected.
  • the individual metal parts 20 are in this case formed on the side facing the cable connection component 1 as insulation displacement terminals 10 and on the opposite side as connection elements 21, to which electrical lines can be connected, for example by soldering.
