Claims (16)

  1. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage constitué par du nickel, du silicium et du cuivre, ainsi qu'éventuellement de l'yttrium et des impuretés métalliques et non métalliques inévitables, telles que du fer, du chrome, du titane, du manganèse, du soufre, des composés de soufre, du carbone, des composés de carbone et de l'oxygène, caractérisé en ce que le matériau d'électrode forme sur au moins une partie de sa surface lors d'une utilisation conforme une couche d'oxyde de nickel constituée par des grains d'oxyde de nickel, la phase intergranulaire des grains d'oxyde de nickel comprenant du silicium ou de l'oxyde de silicium ; avant l'utilisation conforme du matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage, la teneur en silicium étant de 0,7 à 1,3 % en poids, la teneur en cuivre étant de 0,5 à 1,0 % en poids, et la teneur en nickel étant de 97,5 à 98,5 % en poids, et éventuellement 0,07 à 0,13 % en poids d'yttrium, et la proportion d'impuretés métalliques étant au total inférieure à 0,2 % en poids, la teneur en fer et/ou en chrome et/ou en titane étant inférieure à 0,05 % en poids, et la teneur en soufre et/ou en composés de soufre et/ou en carbone et/ou en composés de carbone étant inférieure à 0,01 % en poids, et la teneur en oxygène étant inférieure à 0,003 % en poids.
  2. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la phase intergranulaire des grains d'oxyde de nickel comprend en outre du cuivre et/ou de l'oxyde de cuivre.
  3. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la teneur en silicium et/ou en oxyde de silicium dans la couche d'oxyde de nickel est de 1 à 5 % en poids, notamment de 2 à 4 % en poids et notamment de 3 % en poids, par rapport au poids total de la couche d'oxyde.
  4. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'environ 90 % des grains d'oxyde de nickel et notamment environ 95 % des grains d'oxyde de nickel présentent une taille de grain inférieure à 15 µm.
  5. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'avant l'utilisation conforme du matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage, la teneur en silicium est de 0,9 à 1,1 % en poids, notamment de 1 % en poids, et la teneur en cuivre est de 0,6 à 0,85 % en poids, notamment de 0,75 % en poids.
  6. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'épaisseur de couche de la phase intergranulaire est inférieure à 0,3 µm, notamment inférieure à 0,2 µm et notamment inférieure à 0,1 µm.
  7. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le matériau d'électrode contient en outre 0,09 à 0,11 % en poids, et notamment 0,10 % en poids, d'yttrium.
  8. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la proportion d'impuretés métalliques est au total inférieure à 0,1 % en poids.
  9. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les grains d'oxyde de nickel ne contiennent pas de silicium et/ou d'oxyde de silicium.
  10. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le matériau d'électrode est exempt d'aluminium et/ou de composés d'aluminium et/ou de phases intermétalliques, à l'exception des impuretés techniques inévitables.
  11. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la teneur en fer et/ou en chrome et/ou en titane est inférieure à 0,01 % en poids, et/ou en ce que la teneur en soufre et/ou en composés de soufre et/ou en carbone et/ou en composés de carbone est inférieure à 0,005 % en poids et notamment inférieure à 0,001 % en poids.
  12. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la teneur en oxygène est inférieure à 0,002 % en poids.
  13. Matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, constitué par, à l'exception des impuretés techniques inévitables :
    a) 98,15 % en poids de nickel,
    b) 1 % en poids de silicium,
    c) 0,75 % en poids de cuivre et
    d) 0,1 % en poids d'yttrium.
  14. Procédé de fabrication d'un matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 13, comprenant les étapes suivantes :
    - la fabrication d'un alliage à base de nickel,
    - l'incorporation d'éléments supplémentaires.
  15. Bougie d'allumage comprenant une électrode en un matériau d'électrode de bougie d'allumage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 13.
  16. Bougie d'allumage selon la revendication 15, caractérisée en ce que l'électrode est une électrode centrale et/ou une électrode de masse, et celle-ci peut être utilisée aussi bien avec que sans noyau en cuivre dans l'électrode centrale et/ou de masse.
