- the divaricator means with laminar element having raisable tabs are constructively much simpler to make than sickle-shaped divaricators.
- the movement of the divaricator means is also simpler.
- the operation of initial insertion between the crossbeams is completely separate from that of divarication.
- the insertion of the two tabs between the two crossbeams, as already said, is done at the same time as the forward movement of the laminar element. Divarication requires a simple linear movement of an actuator, instead of a rotation movement, which is more complex to control.
