The sealing body 10 is movably mounted on the tub 5 or other parts of the rotary printing press and can therefore be completely or partially removed from the area of the recess 8 of the ink pan, when a forme cylinder with a maximum axle diameter d P , d A is used. Dieser Abstand des Abdichtkörpers 10 von der Umfangsfläche des Achsstummels 2 wird durch die Art der Anbringung der Koppelstange 12 an Abstreifer 11 und Abdichtkörper 10 definiert. Die Haltevorrichtung 14 hält die Koppelstange 12, den Abstreifer 11 und den Abdichtkörper 10 und ermöglicht die Bewegung dieser Körper im Rüstprozess.

Ein Abdichtköper 10 wird daher relativ dicht an der Wandung der Farbwanne 5 anliegen, die abgedichtet werden soll. Wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt kann er in einer Wirkverbindung mit einem flexiblen Abdichtstoff (zwischen Abdichtkörper 10 und Wannenrand) stehen. Eine Abdichtvorrichtung kann neben dem Abdichtkörper 10 andere für den Abdichtprozess vorteilhafte Vorrichtungsbestandteile haben, die beispielsweise der Bewegung und Halterung des zumindest einen Abdichtkörpers dienen. Ein Abstreifer 11 wird in der Regel gegen die Achse 2, 3 des Formzylinders berührend angestellt. Oft ist die Berührungsfläche mit einer Gummilippe oder einem ähnlichen Stoff versehen. Claims (12)

  1. Rotary printing press having at least one inking unit
    - which comprises an ink trough (5) and a forme cylinder (1) which is mounted on at least one axle (2, 3),
    - it being possible for the forme cylinder (1) and the ink trough (5) to be positioned with respect to one another in such a way that the forme cylinder (1) can be inked by ink (7) which is contained in the ink trough (5),
    - the ink trough (5) having at least one recess (8) in one of its side faces which are situated on the end side of the forme cylinder (1),
    - the said recess (8) being suitable for receiving at least one part of the axle (2, 3) of the forme cylinder (1),
    - and the inking unit having a sealing apparatus (10, 11, 12, 14), by way of which the recess (8) can be closed at least partially,
    characterized in that the at least one inking unit comprises at least one stripper (11) which can be set against the axle (2, 3) of the forme cylinder (1) and is suitable for stripping said axle (2, 3).
  2. Rotary printing press according to Claim 1, characterized in that the recess (8) has a size which is adapted to the maximum axle diameter (dA, dP).
  3. Rotary printing press according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the edge of the recess (8) runs in an arcuate or semicircular manner in the plane which is parallel to the end side of the forme cylinder (1).
  4. Rotary printing press according to the preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing apparatus (10, 11, 12, 14) has a sealing body (10) which is movable and by way of which the recess (8) can be sealed at least partially.
  5. Rotary printing press according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the edge of the sealing body (10) of the sealing apparatus (10, 11, 12, 14) which runs in the direction of the axle (2, 3) of the forme cylinder (1) runs in an arcuate or semicircular manner in the plane which is parallel to the end side of the forme cylinder (1).
  6. Rotary printing press according to either of the two preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing body (10) can be moved parallel to the at least one side face of the ink trough (5) which is situated on the end side of the forme cylinder (1) or to the end face of the forme cylinder (1).
  7. Rotary printing press according to one of the three preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing apparatus (10, 11, 12, 14) comprises guiding means, by way of which the sealing body (10) can be moved in the vertical direction (z).
  8. Rotary printing press according to one of the three preceding claims, characterized in that the sealing apparatus (10, 11, 12, 14) comprises a flexible sealing means which is situated between the sealing body (10) and the side face of the ink trough (5).
  9. Rotary printing press according to one of the preceding Claims 4 to 8, characterized in that the at least one stripper (11) and the at least one sealing body (10) are attached on one side of the forme cylinder (1).
  10. Rotary printing press according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the at least one stripper (11) is spaced apart further from the forme cylinder (1) in the axial direction (z) of said forme cylinder (1) than the at least one sealing body (10).
  11. Rotary printing press according to either of the two preceding claims, characterized by a means (12) for mechanical positive coupling of the setting-on and setting-off movements of the at least one sealing body (10) and the at least one stripper (11) against the axle (2, 3) of the forme cylinder (1).
  12. Rotary printing press according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the means (12) for mechanical positive coupling sets the position of the at least one sealing body (10) and the at least one stripper (11) with respect to one another in such a way that the sealing body (10) is spaced apart from the axle (2, 3) of the forme cylinder (1) by at least 2 mm when the stripper (11) passes into contact with said axle (2, 3).
