Definitions

  • the invention is concerned with a spherical active body, which releases after application at a closer distance, for example by hand, located therein sub-body.
  • the sub-body may be substances such as irritants and / or agents for producing lightning and blast effects, as well as mist and color smoke, etc.

  • a bombette is in practice a rigid cylindrically shaped firecracker of cardboard or tightly wrapped or bound paper. They can have a diameter of about 1, 5 to 6cm. Unlike fireworks bombs, however, bombettes have none own output or no propellant charge. They are fired from a frame with tubes, aluminum or plastic, and with a separate ejection charge. When firing a deceleration fuse is usually ignited, which in turn ignites a Zerlegaradung. Through this, the effect set is ignited and distributed.

  • the invention is based on the idea that it may be advantageous if the active or throwing body has a spherical shape, since this form itself builds up a smaller air resistance, as a cylindrical container.

  • Other facilities are those for determining or controlling its direction of travel and the ignition.
  • An irritation body preferably in spherical form is also disclosed in DE 102 59 913 A1. This is preferably done by hand, to then be offset in a sequence of highly accelerated rolling movements in random directions by means of integrated pulse engines.

  • Alternative types of transport for propellant-free active agents of the type described above are known in the art.
