Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a fitting arrangement for windows, doors or the like with a frame and with a wing for receiving the fitting arrangement.
  • telescopic fittings which can be telescopically pulled apart or pushed together to adapt to the respective sash size.
  • Such fittings can be used flexibly in many areas, but the maximum change in length that can be achieved by telescoping and pushing the corresponding components together is usually relatively limited.
  • Problems can also arise if a handle for actuating the Fitting arrangement is arranged asymmetrically on the sash, so that one end of the sash is not reached even in a maximally extended state of the telescopic fitting and / or a minimum length of the telescopic fitting is too large and, consequently, this also in a "retracted" state over one end of the Wing protrudes.
  • the Ca 2 681 067 A1 discloses a fitting arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the fitting arrangement should also be able to be operated reliably, be simple and robust, and be inexpensive to manufacture.
  • the locking rod having a functional section at its end facing away from the gear rod has, which comprises at least one functional element for coupling to a further component of the fitting arrangement or to the frame
  • the fitting arrangement according to the invention additionally has an extension rail.
  • the extension rail is provided with a functional section which, at least in functional terms, is designed like the functional section of the locking bar. To extend the locking bar, it can be coupled to the extension rail.
  • the fitting arrangement has an end cover which at least in sections covers a free end section of the extension rail and / or the locking bar and which can be coupled to a faceplate which at least partially covers a drive rod assigned to the center lock.
  • the end cover has an opening through which, in an assembled state, a rod exclusion formed on the extension rail or a rod exclusion formed on the locking rod projects, the rod exclusion of the extension rail and the rod exclusion of the locking rod having the same function, in particular being of essentially the same design.
  • extension rail which can be coupled to it, so that its "range” can be increased.
  • the extension rail can be provided in different lengths, so that together with the "range” or telescopic length of the telescopic mechanism of the telescopic fitting, a wide range of sash sizes can be covered. The difference from one extension rail length to the next is determined by the telescopic length of the telescopic mechanism of the conventional telescopic fitting.
  • the functional section of the extension rail is designed at least from a functional point of view like the functional section of the locking bar. This means that the other hardware components can be easily connected to the extension rail without any design changes.
  • the functional components of the frame do not have to be adjusted either.
  • the fitting arrangement comprises a coupling element for actuating a center lock of the wing, which is compatible and can be coupled with the extension rail and the locking bar.
  • a drive rod of the center lock can be coupled to the locking bar via the coupling element or - if the telescopic length of the telescopic mechanism is not sufficient - to the extension rail.
  • the extension rail and the locking bar are arranged overlapping at least in sections in an assembled state of the extension rail in order to simplify a reliable installation of the two components mentioned.
  • the extension rail and / or the locking bar can be cranked in the overlapping area, for example to ensure that the extension bar and the locking bar extend essentially in a common plane.
  • the extension rail has a cranked section that is suitable for receiving the locking bar and / or vice versa. In principle, however, it can also be provided that both components are cranked in the overlapping area in order to achieve the desired relative spatial arrangement of the extension rail and the locking bar.
  • the extension rail can be secured to the locking bar by means of a securing means.
  • the securing means is in particular a cover rail, the locking bar being arranged at least in sections between the extension rail and the cover rail.
  • This "sandwich" construction ensures reliable coupling of the locking bar and the extension rail and is structurally simple.
  • the cover rail has a dual function. On the one hand, it serves as a securing means, on the other hand, it ultimately functions as a faceplate, at least in sections.
  • the extension rail can have a pin which, when the extension rail is assembled, projects through an opening in the locking bar. With this configuration, the extension rail and the locking bar are easily secured against relative movement in their longitudinal direction. Ultimately, the two components mentioned are thus coupled to one another in the actuation direction of the fitting arrangement.
  • other coupling mechanisms - for example based on a pure clamping effect - can also be provided in principle.
  • the pin can be secured on the side of the locking bar facing away from the extension rail by a securing means - for example the cover rail already mentioned above - against movement out of the opening.
  • a securing means for example the cover rail already mentioned above - against movement out of the opening.
  • the pin is mushroom-shaped and in an assembled state of the securing means protrudes through an opening in the securing means, the securing means engaging behind a mushroom head of the pin.
  • the opening of the securing means can be, for example, an elongated hole with a widened insertion section.
  • the end cover and / or the cover rail can be fastened to the wing, in particular fastening elements for fastening the end cover and / or the cover rail protrude through the openings provided on the extension rail and / or the locking bar when the fitting arrangement is in an assembled state.
  • the openings can be elongated holes.
  • the extension rail and the locking bar can be provided with a locking pin for locking the sash, wherein a distance of the locking pin of the extension rail from its end facing away from the locking bar equals a corresponding distance of the locking pin of the locking bar from its end facing the extension rail in order to ensure compatibility of the fitting arrangement to ensure in an extended state of the locking bar.
  • the coupling mechanism is designed in such a way that it can be moved from a release position into a coupling position for mounting the fitting arrangement on the sash, the gear rod and the locking bar being essentially freely, in particular steplessly movable in the release position.
  • the gear rod and the locking bar are connected to one another in a drive-effective manner.
  • the coupling mechanism can also be configured such that it defines discrete relative positions of the gear rod and the locking rod.
  • Both a freely or continuously adjustable configuration of the coupling mechanism and a coupling mechanism with a discrete positioning function can have at least one toothing formed on the gear rod and at least one toothing formed on the locking rod, which are directly or indirectly coupled to one another.
  • a so-called tooth box can be used, which is arranged on the gear or locking bar. It e.g. an essentially U-shaped cross-section, with toothings arranged on the inner longitudinal sides of the tooth box, which toothings can be coupled with complementary counter-toothings which are assigned to the locking bar or the gear rod.
  • the toothing and the counter-toothing define discrete coupling states of the locking and the gear rod.
  • At least one toothing is arranged on the gear rod and the locking rod, which are coupled to one another via at least one gear. If you fix an axis of rotation of the gear, the two rods are also firmly coupled to each other. If you let the gear rotate freely, the rods can be moved relative to each other.
  • the coupling mechanism has at least one toothing formed on the gear rod or at least one on the locking rod, which interacts with a locking mechanism provided on the locking rod or gear rod.
  • Fig. 1 shows a partially dismantled fitting arrangement 10 with a locking bar 12 which, in an assembled state, is in turn coupled to drive with a gear rod (not shown).
  • the locking bar 12 is displaceable relative to the gear rod or completely decoupled from it.
  • the longitudinal extension of the fitting arrangement 10 can be achieved by a relative displacement of the locking bar 12 and the gear rod to the respective one Dimensions of a wing of a window, a door or the like can be adapted to which the fitting arrangement 10 is to be mounted.
  • Different types of coupling of the locking rod 12 and the gear rod are conceivable and have already been briefly described at the beginning, so that there is no longer any need to deal with them at this point. It is important, however, that the fitting arrangement 10 has a longitudinal extension which is variably adjustable by means of a coupling mechanism which couples the locking rod 12 and the gear rod.
  • Fig. 1 It can be seen that one end of the extension bar 14 facing away from the locking bar 12 is essentially configured in the same way as an end of the locking bar 12 which is free before the connection to the extension bar 14. Both the locking bar 12 and the extension bar 14 have a locking pin 16 which is provided for locking the wing assigned to the fitting arrangement 10 on the corresponding frame.
  • the locking bar 12 and the extension rail 14 are each provided with a bar exclusion 18, elongated holes 20, 20 'and holes 22, 22'.
  • the components described above are designed and arranged to have the same effect, at least from a functional point of view, so that the end of the extension rail 14 provided with the components mentioned at least functionally simulates the free end of the locking bar 12. This in turn means that with the components mentioned interacting components of the fitting arrangement 10 and or of the frame do not have to be changed when the extension rail 14 is used.
  • the extension rail 14 also has an elongated hole 20 ′′ which, when the rail 14 is in the assembled state, is aligned with the elongated hole 20 of the locking bar 12.
  • Fig. 1 also shows a faceplate section 24 and an end cover 26, which are used in the assembly of the extension rail 14 on the locking bar 12, as follows with reference to the Figures 2 to 5 is explained.
  • a pin 28 of the extension rail 14 is inserted into the hole 22 of the locking bar 12, whereby the rod 12 and the rail 14 are coupled together.
  • the extension rail 14 is cranked in the section facing the locking bar 12. The same applies in reverse for the locking bar 12.
  • the originally free end of the locking bar 12 is arranged in the cranked region of the extension rail 14 - and vice versa - what in Fig. 2 you can see.
  • the locking bar 12 and the extension rail 14 thereby overlap in an overlap region 30.
  • the faceplate section 24 is assembled.
  • the faceplate section 24 has elongated holes 32, 32 ', which are assigned to the locking pin 16 of the locking bar 12 or the pin 28. While the elongated hole 32 ensures that the locking pin 16
  • the elongated hole 32 ' is provided to be displaceable relative to the faceplate section 24, which essentially adjoins a faceplate section 24' of the locking bar 12 in order to cover the movable parts of the fitting arrangement 10, in order to provide the connection between the locking bar 12 and the extension bar 14 to secure.
  • the pin 28 is inserted into an insertion hole 34 of the elongated hole 32 '.
  • the faceplate section 24 is then moved in the longitudinal direction.
  • the faceplate section 24 engages behind a mushroom-shaped head of the pin 28, as a result of which the faceplate section 24 and the extension rail 14 are secured against lifting and are thus securely coupled to one another.
  • the free end of the locking bar 12 at the beginning of the assembly is fixed between the faceplate section 24 and the cranked region of the extension rail 14, as in FIG Fig. 3 is shown.
  • the end cover 26 is then slipped onto the free end of the extension rail 14 (see also 4 and 5 ), which serves to cover the free end of the extension rail 14 and thus also has a covering function similar to a faceplate.
  • An elongated hole 32 ′′ provided on the end cover 26 and assigned to the locking pin 16 corresponds functionally to the elongated hole 32 of the faceplate section 24.
  • the end cover 26 is provided with an opening 38 which allows the rod exclusion 18 to pass through. Furthermore, the end cover 26 has a coupling section 40 which is designed like a hook and which thereby enables coupling to a faceplate, which in turn at least partially covers a mechanism of a center lock. This coupling function facilitates the assembly of the center lock assigned components and increases the stability of the fitting assembly 10 as a whole.
  • the end cover 26 can also be easily attached to the locking bar 12 if the extension bar 14 is not required.
  • Fig. 5 shows a preassembled state of the fitting arrangement 10. This is then fastened to the wing by means of fastening screws (not shown) passed through mounting holes 42 of the components 26, 24, 24 '.
  • the elongated holes 20, 20 ', 20 "ensure that the locking bar 12 and the extension rail 14 remain displaceable relative to the components 26, 24, 24' despite the fastening screws.
  • Fig. 6 shows a section of the fitting arrangement 10 in a side view to illustrate the mushroom-shaped configuration of the head of the pin 28. As already described above, it serves together with the faceplate section 24 to secure the coupling between the locking bar 12 and the extension bar 14. If a covering of the bar 12 and the bar 14 is not absolutely necessary, the faceplate section 24 can also be designed such that it essentially only serves as a means of security. It can then be made much shorter since it ultimately only has to provide the elongated hole 32 '.
  • Fig. 7 shows a side view of the extension rail 14 in an assembled state in a side view. This view illustrates that the fitting arrangement 10 even when the extension rail 14 is installed is very flat.
  • the design of the coupling section 40 becomes clear from the selected representation, which — as already described — enables simple coupling with further components of the fitting arrangement 10.
  • Fig. 8 shows a detailed view of the fitting assembly 10 in an area around the pin 28.
  • the dashed lines indicate a section A, which would be approximately sufficient if the faceplate section 24 is only intended to secure the connection between the locking bar 12 and the extension rail 14. At least one mounting hole 42 would then have to be provided in this section A so that the faceplate section 24 can be fastened to the wing.
  • Fig. 9 shows a detailed view of the free end of the extension rail 14 with attached end cover 26.
  • the rod exclusion 18 passes through the opening 38 of the end cover 26 and can thus contribute to locking the wing on the frame assigned to it.
