  • the rigidly interconnected assembly of moldings 44, backrest connection 43 and bridge member 42 is inclined backwards and has taken the entire link chain 41 . Due to the backward inclination of the bearing elements 430 on the backrest connection 43 has the fifth Rotated axis D5 moves downward and pulled in the first slots 454 on the fourth axis of rotation D4 bearing elements 453 in an inclined position. Starting from the fixed fourth axis of rotation D4 , the fifth axis of rotation D5 is now below, in relation to the backrest support 40, before D4 and the sixth axis of rotation D6 above D5.

  • the gap 460 has narrowed and the free-floating length a of the actuator 47 shortened. A backward curved deformation between the links 410, 411 is excluded by the abutting rear stops 414 . Moreover, the rear positioning of the upper fixed point 415 on the head member 410 on start-up of the control element 47 favors its only forward bending against the load.
  • the driver 412 on the head member 410 causes a likewise forward bending of the next member 411, which in turn pulls through the associated driver 412, the subsequent member 411 forward.
  • the pre-curved deformation continues only on a few next links 411 within the direction of the bridge member 42 , ie, the links 411 closer to the bridge link 42 in the lumbar region of the user could no longer be detected by the forward bending deflection.
  • With a differentiated dimensioning within the link chain 41 can be in the upper region - substantially over the head portion h - a more intense precurved Deformation, as down in the direction of the bridge member 42 to the lumbar region of the user.
  • the leaning in the seat user experiences from the shoulder upwards a support facing him further.
  • 41 zones of different stiffness can be formed within the link chain, so that, for example, the lumbar area on the seat offers the leaning user a greater resistance to deformation - thus represents harder - and thus supports the user in this body area firmer.
