Definitions
- the invention is directed to a door handle assembly of a motor vehicle, comprising a lock cylinder, which is arranged and received in a lock cylinder housing, and a bearing bracket which is mountable for receiving door handle components on the vehicle side, wherein the lock cylinder housing is coupled to the bearing bracket to to arrange the lock cylinder fastened to the bearing bracket, and wherein the bearing bracket has a receptacle for the lock cylinder housing.
- a door handle assembly of the type described is, for example, from the EP 1 323 881 A2 and the EP 1 555 363 A1 known.
- Door handle arrangements of this type are used, for example, when the motor vehicle is basically equipped with an electronic access function (keyless entry). Then exercise of a mechanical closing function in the usual use of the motor vehicle is not required. However, due to temporary or permanent failures or, for example, a depleted battery of equipment required for the electronic access function, a mechanical emergency or auxiliary closure device is formed on at least one door handle assembly of the motor vehicle. In such a mechanical locking device, a lock cylinder is provided, in which an associated key is inserted to exercise a closing and opening function.
- a door handle assembly of the type described, for example, from the DE 10 2008 000 190 A1 and comprises a lock cylinder housing, which is arranged on the outside of a vehicle wall and serves to receive a lock cylinder, and a handle which is pivotable between a rest position and an actuated position.
- the lock cylinder housing is covered in the rest position of the handle of this, whereas the handle in a pivoted position, the lock cylinder for a slot of a mechanical key releases.
- a disadvantage of this prior art is the complex and a variety of components comprehensive construction of the door handle assembly.
- the oblique arrangement of the lock cylinder requires the use of a gear to transmit a rotation of a key, which is inserted into the obliquely arranged lock cylinder, on a perpendicular to the vehicle wall extending lock cylinder shaft.
- this structural design of the door handle assembly is only insufficient security against a break-in technique in which the lock cylinder with a tool like a corkscrew is forcibly pulled out of the vehicle door, so that the doors of the vehicle can be opened.
- the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a solution that provides a door handle assembly in a structurally simple manner and cost, which allows easy installation of the lock cylinder by the fitter and at the same time increases the burglar resistance.
- the object is achieved in that the outer contour of the lock cylinder housing is tuned to the inner contour of the receptacle such that at least one contact area between the lock cylinder housing and recording forms a slide-gate, which controls the movement Lock cylinder housing when inserted into the receptacle in a first movement portion along a first spatial direction and in a second movement portion, which is arranged downstream of the first movement portion, along a second spatial direction, which extends obliquely to the first spatial direction leads.
- the slide-in scenery causes the movement of the lock cylinder housing when inserted into the receptacle in downstream movement sections along at least two mutually inclined spatial directions.
- the invention provides a door handle assembly of a motor vehicle is available, which is characterized by a functional design and has a simple and inexpensive construction. Characterized in that the insertion of the lock cylinder housing takes place in the recording of the bearing bracket in downstream movement sections along at least two mutually oblique spatial directions, the removal of the lock cylinder housing runs with the movement sections used for insertion in the reverse order.
- the invention it is no longer possible to extract the lock cylinder housing from the receptacle of the bearing bracket by applying a force acting in only one spatial direction. This measure, the insertion made by a movement of the lock cylinder housing along at least two mutually inclined spatial directions increases the theft and burglary security, but does not limit the ease of installation of the door handle assembly.
- the first spatial direction is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bearing bracket.
- a structurally particularly simple way of forming the slide-in gate consists in a further embodiment of the invention is that the slide-in gate formed by at least one formed in the inner contour of the receptacle of the bearing bracket guide surface and at least one formed in the outer contour of the lock cylinder housing mounting surface is, wherein the at least one guide surface and the at least one mounting surface are formed as complementary to each other extending surfaces and extending in the second spatial direction.
- the invention provides in a development that the recording a blocking element which, after insertion into the receptacle, blocks a movement of the lock cylinder housing in the direction of the first spatial direction.
- the blocking element has at least one blocking surface which cooperates with at least one blocking surface formed on the outer contour of the lock cylinder housing , wherein the at least one blocking surface and the at least one blocking surface are formed as complementary surfaces extending in the second spatial direction and abut each other after insertion of the lock cylinder housing in the receptacle of the bearing bracket.
- the guide element is the blocking element at the same time.
- a structurally particularly simple way to increase the attachment of the lock cylinder housing in a further development of the invention is that a clamping element can be brought into engagement with the bearing bracket, which presses after insertion of the lock cylinder housing against its outer contour. In this way, the deadlock of the lock cylinder housing in the receptacle of the bearing bracket is increased, so that the lock cylinder housing only under enormous force and after a destruction of the clamping element from the recording is pulled out.
- a U-shaped headband is provided for locking the lock cylinder housing, wherein the free ends of the two legs of the U-shaped retaining bracket can be brought into engagement with the lock cylinder housing and wherein a web connecting the free ends of the retaining bracket with the bearing bracket is engageable.
- the lock cylinder with respect to an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bearing bracket at an angle of 30 ° is arranged obliquely.
- a slight lifting of the lock cylinder otherwise overlapping handle is required to gain access to the lock cylinder and to use a mechanical emergency key.

When screwing in, the head of the clamping element 8 passes into a recess 22, which is formed in a lateral projection 23 of the lock cylinder housing 4. As a result, the lock cylinder housing 4 is additionally pressed in the direction of and against the stop 21 and jammed.
- the lateral projection 23 of the lock cylinder housing 4 occurs when inserted into the receptacle 7 through a passage opening 27 (see FIG. 5 ) formed in the receptacle. Due to the described embodiment thereby the clamping member 8 can be brought into engagement with the bearing bracket 3 and presses after insertion of the lock cylinder housing 4 against its outer contour or projection 23, which consolidates the seat of the lock cylinder housing 4 in the receptacle 7.
- the jamming and fastening of the lock cylinder housing 4 in the receptacle can be further increased by the fact that the free ends of the two legs 8a and 8b of the U-shaped retaining clip 8, which are each formed in the manner of a gripping arm, in receiving recesses 24 which in the outer contour of the lock cylinder housing 4 are formed, engage, whereby the lock cylinder housing 4 is a total of the legs 8a and 8b of the U-shaped support bracket 8 and behind engaged.

Door handle arrangements of this type are used, for example, when the motor vehicle is basically equipped with an electronic access function (keyless entry).
A disadvantage of this prior art is the complex and a variety of components comprehensive construction of the door handle assembly. In particular, the oblique arrangement of the lock cylinder requires the use of a gear to transmit a rotation of a key, which is inserted into the obliquely arranged lock cylinder, on a perpendicular to the vehicle wall extending lock cylinder shaft. Also, this structural design of the door handle assembly is only insufficient security against a break-in technique in which the lock cylinder with a tool like a corkscrew is forcibly pulled out of the vehicle door, so that the doors of the vehicle can be opened.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a solution that provides a door handle assembly in a structurally simple manner and cost, which allows easy installation of the lock cylinder by the fitter and at the same time increases the burglar resistance.
In a door handle assembly of the type described, the object is achieved in that the outer contour of the lock cylinder housing is tuned to the inner contour of the receptacle such that at least one contact area between the lock cylinder housing and recording forms a slide-gate, which controls the movement Lock cylinder housing when inserted into the receptacle in a first movement portion along a first spatial direction and in a second movement portion, which is arranged downstream of the first movement portion, along a second spatial direction, which extends obliquely to the first spatial direction leads. Thus, the slide-in scenery causes the movement of the lock cylinder housing when inserted into the receptacle in downstream movement sections along at least two mutually inclined spatial directions.
Advantageous and expedient refinements and developments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.
The invention provides a door handle assembly of a motor vehicle is available, which is characterized by a functional design and has a simple and inexpensive construction. Characterized in that the insertion of the lock cylinder housing takes place in the recording of the bearing bracket in downstream movement sections along at least two mutually oblique spatial directions, the removal of the lock cylinder housing runs with the movement sections used for insertion in the reverse order. By means of the invention, it is no longer possible to extract the lock cylinder housing from the receptacle of the bearing bracket by applying a force acting in only one spatial direction. This measure, the insertion made by a movement of the lock cylinder housing along at least two mutually inclined spatial directions increases the theft and burglary security, but does not limit the ease of installation of the door handle assembly.
In an embodiment of the door handle assembly according to the invention it is provided that the first spatial direction is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bearing bracket. As a result, the insertion of the lock cylinder housing takes place at least for the first movement section for the fitter in the usual way, without the latter having to pay increased attention to the orientation of the lock cylinder housing to the bearing bracket.
A structurally particularly simple way of forming the slide-in gate consists in a further embodiment of the invention is that the slide-in gate formed by at least one formed in the inner contour of the receptacle of the bearing bracket guide surface and at least one formed in the outer contour of the lock cylinder housing mounting surface is, wherein the at least one guide surface and the at least one mounting surface are formed as complementary to each other extending surfaces and extending in the second spatial direction.
In order to realize a secure fixation of the lock cylinder housing in the receptacle of the bearing bracket, the invention provides in a development that the recording a blocking element which, after insertion into the receptacle, blocks a movement of the lock cylinder housing in the direction of the first spatial direction.
In order to secure the inserted lock cylinder housing against slipping in and out of the receptacle, the invention provides in a further embodiment that the blocking element has at least one blocking surface which cooperates with at least one blocking surface formed on the outer contour of the lock cylinder housing , Wherein the at least one blocking surface and the at least one blocking surface are formed as complementary surfaces extending in the second spatial direction and abut each other after insertion of the lock cylinder housing in the receptacle of the bearing bracket. In this way, a kind of self-locking is achieved, in which the resistance caused by the friction of the abutting surfaces prevents slippage of the lock cylinder housing or slipping of the blocking surface on the blocking surface.
It is of particular advantage with regard to the insertion process of the lock cylinder housing in the receptacle of the bearing bracket when the outer contour of the lock cylinder housing has at least one extending in the direction of the first spatial direction insertion surface, which during insertion of a guide member during the first movement section substantially guided along the first spatial direction.
In order to keep the number of components of the door handle assembly low, it is particularly advantageous if the guide element is the blocking element at the same time.
A structurally particularly simple way to increase the attachment of the lock cylinder housing, in a further development of the invention is that a clamping element can be brought into engagement with the bearing bracket, which presses after insertion of the lock cylinder housing against its outer contour. In this way, the deadlock of the lock cylinder housing in the receptacle of the bearing bracket is increased, so that the lock cylinder housing only under enormous force and after a destruction of the clamping element from the recording is pulled out.
Furthermore, it is particularly advantageous if a U-shaped headband is provided for locking the lock cylinder housing, wherein the free ends of the two legs of the U-shaped retaining bracket can be brought into engagement with the lock cylinder housing and wherein a web connecting the free ends of the retaining bracket with the bearing bracket is engageable. As a result, a very secure and firm hold of the lock cylinder housing is ensured after insertion.
Denkbar sind aber auch davon abweichende Anordnungen mit einem kleineren oder größeren Winkel von beispielsweise 45°.Finally, it is provided in an embodiment of the invention that the lock cylinder with respect to an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the bearing bracket at an angle of 30 ° is arranged obliquely. As a result, only a slight lifting of the lock cylinder otherwise overlapping handle is required to gain access to the lock cylinder and to use a mechanical emergency key. Conceivable but also deviating arrangements with a smaller or larger angle, for example, 45 °.
It is understood that the features mentioned above and those yet to be explained can be used not only in the respectively indicated combination but also in other combinations or in isolation, without departing from the scope of the present invention. The scope of the invention is defined only by the claims.

According to the invention it is therefore essential that the
The above described and described motion sequence when inserting the
The jamming and fastening of the
Of course, the invention described above is not limited to the described and illustrated embodiments. It will be appreciated that many obvious modifications can be made to the embodiments illustrated in the drawings without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the claims.
