Definitions
- the invention relates to a transport container according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the goods to be transported are relatively light but sensitive components
- An increased transport weight leads to increased energy consumption during transport, which is undesirable from an economic and ecological point of view.
- a high tare weight degrades the overall energy balance of each transported component.
- Previous transport containers in particular for sensitive goods, are generally constructed as follows:
- the actual transport container is a one-piece injection-molded first element with a standardized standard in the rule, so that a stackability is achieved.
- a lid is placed, so that by this first element and the lid of the transport container is sealed, in particular dust-tight.
- Inside This first element can be a specially shaped insert is used, which is shaped so that the components to be transported are held securely and do not rub against each other or on the inner wall of the first element during transport.
- a transport container which has a kind of mesh basket around which a film is stretched.
- Such a transport container is intended for the transport of fruit and suitable for this purpose.
- this transport container is not suitable for the transport of technical components or sensitive technical intermediates.
- FR 2 529 169 A1 discloses a generic transport container.
- the present invention has the object to provide a transport container, in particular for technical products, components or intermediates, which has a low weight.
- the transport container according to the invention has a self-supporting, designed as a plastic injection molded part first element and a second element which rests at least partially on the first element, on.
- the second element is arranged on the inside of the first element according to the type defined in claim 1, preferably so that it completely lines the inside and thus is supported by the first element and a contact of components, which are located in the transport container, with the first Element excludes.
- the first element takes over here exclusively the mechanically supporting function and can preferably be designed so that there is a stackability.
- the first element as a plastic injection molded part with openings, so that the first element receives a kind of lattice structure.
- openings By said openings, so by the omission of material, you lose at cleverly chosen geometry no mechanical stability, but can achieve significant weight savings.
- the second element only has to have a very low mechanical stability; it is dahor thin-walled designed as a plastic deep-drawn part.
- the weight of the second element can be very small compared to the first element, so that the presence of the second element does not compensate for the weight saving that can be achieved with the first element.
- the bivalve structure of the transport container with outer first part and inner second part as plastic Teifsenteil another significant advantage.
- the production of a thermoforming mold is considerably simpler and much cheaper compared to the production of an injection mold.
- the actual manufacturing process of a deep-drawn part compared to the production of an injection molded part is considerably easier.
- the second elements are preferably produced identically in large numbers, so that they can be used for a large number of different goods to be transported, each with a different second element inserted.
- the raw material and energy required for the production of the second element is significantly lower than the raw material and energy required for the production of the first element, so that even if a second element only reaches a relatively short lifetime It is due to wear, it is because the dimensions of the parts to be transported change, the energy balance of the entire transport container remains very low due to the longevity of the first element.
- the total energy balance of the transport container according to the invention is therefore favorable both in terms of its production and in terms of its operation, which of course also has a positive effect on the overall energy balance of the transported components.
- transport container for enclosed volumes between 20 and 100 liters.
- FIG. 1 shows the three elements of a transport container. These three elements are the first element 10, the second element 30 and the cover 50.
- the first element 10 is a plastic injection molded part with four side walls 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d and a bottom 14.
- the side walls 12a to 12d and the bottom 14 enclose a first interior I 1 , which typically has a volume between 20 and 100 liters.
- Both the side walls 12a to 12d and the bottom 14 are constructed like a grid by webs 16, between which openings 18 are located.
- the wall thickness of the webs is typically between 1.5 and 2.5 mm.
- some of the webs, in particular the webs of the side walls 12a to 12d may have a U-shaped cross-section.
- the side walls 12a to 12d are closed by a peripheral upper edge 20 which, as will be seen later, has a horizontal portion and a downwardly facing portion.
- the second element 30 is a plastic deep-drawn part, which likewise has four side walls 32a to 32d and a bottom 34.
- the wall thickness of this plastic deep-drawn part is typically between 0.2 and 0.8 mm.
- the outer dimensions of the side walls 32a to 32d correspond substantially to the inner dimensions of the side walls 12a of the first member so that the second element 30 is inserted into the interior I 1 of the first element and the inside completely lines, as will be seen this in more detail.
- the volume of the second interior I 2 which is enclosed by the second element, is slightly smaller than the volume of the first interior I 1 , wherein the volume of the second interior preferably at least 95% of the volume of the first interior.
- the second element 30 has a circumferential upper edge 40 with a horizontal portion and a downwardly facing portion (see in particular FIG. 9 ) on. At the bottom 34 of the second element 30 holding structures 36 are formed.
- the lid 50 is preferably also a plastic deep-drawn part and has as well as the bottom 34 of the second element 30 holding structures 52, as can be seen in particular with reference to FIG. 4 sees.
- the lid 50 is bounded by a peripheral edge 54.
- FIG. 2 shows first element 10 and second element 30 FIG. 1 wherein the second element 30 is inserted into the first element 10. Due to the thinness of the second element 30, the webs 16 of the bottom 14 of the first element 10 can shine through, as indicated. One removes the FIG. 2 in that the usable internal space is virtually not reduced since the second interior space I 2 enclosed by the second element 30 encloses substantially the same volume as the interior space I 1 of the first element 10.
- FIG. 3 shows that in FIG. 2 Shown with attached lid 50.
- FIG. 4 shows, as already mentioned, a view of the lid 50, in which the holding structures 52 of the lid 50 can be seen.
- FIG. 5 shows two stacked transport container. 5
- FIGS. 6 to 8 show that again in the FIGS. 1 and 3 Shown in each case in a sectional view.
- the bottom of the second element is typically located on the bottom of the first element, so that forces exerted on the bottom of the second element are introduced directly into the bottom of the first element. This is necessary because the second element has little mechanical stability.
- the structure of the upper edge 20 of the first element, the structure of the upper edge 40 of the second element 30 and the structure of the edge 54 of the lid 50 and their position to each other explained in more detail.
- the upper edge 20 of the first element 10 has a horizontal portion 20 and a downwardly facing portion 24.
- the upper edge 40 of the second element 30 also has such a structure, namely with a horizontal portion 42 and a downwardly facing portion 44.
- the upper edge 40 of the second element 30 surrounds the upper edge 20 of the first element 10 and is located on this at least in sections. As a result, the position of the second element 30 with respect to the first element 10 is completely determined.
- the edge 54 of the lid 50 is in the closed state exclusively on the upper edge 40, here namely on the horizontal portion 42, of the second element 30. This means that the inclusion of the elements takes place exclusively through the second element 30 and the cover 50. The first element does not contribute to the inclusion of the transported parts.
- FIG. 10 One removes the FIG. 10 in that the bottom 34 of the second element 30 rests in sections on the bottom 14 of the first element 10. You can do that FIGS. 9 and 10 also very well the different wall thicknesses of the first element 10 and the second element 30 refer.
- the second element 30 may be made of a transparent plastic. If the second element is made of a transparent plastic, it is possible to see into each transport container and check its contents even when the containers are stacked, closed, due to the openings 18 in the side wall of the first element 10. As a result, many false shipments (for example, from not or not completely empty transport containers) be prevented. It is also useful in this case, the lid 50 made of a transparent plastic, so that you can check the contents of a transport container from every angle. Suitable materials for producing a transparent second element / lid are, for example, PVC, PPT, PC (polycarbonate), PE (polyethylene) and PS.
- such a transport box is not only suitable for transporting, but also for storing objects, especially in the home.
- first element 10, second element 20 and cover 50 in the preferred embodiment shown are each integrally manufactured elements.
