Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for the extraction of air in a hob.
  • the invention relates to a table ventilation device, which is arranged next to and in particular behind a hob. It is also called a downdraft extractor.
  • WO 2004/090425 A2 discloses a device for extracting and supplying air for a cooking station.
  • the device is mounted on a kitchen cabinet, wherein flow conditions are adjusted over the hob by means of different flaps on different cooking situations.
  • DE 29 23 377 describes a device with a movable flap.
  • the object of the invention is to provide an improved device for the extraction of air in a hob, in which in particular the ease of maintenance, that is the ease of use when cleaning, repairing and / or changing parts in the device is increased.
  • the object of the invention is achieved by a device for the extraction of air in a hob with the features of claim 1.
  • the device has in a cooktop facing side of the device, a suction opening for sucking air at the hob and a front panel, arranged above the suction opening is, for closing the device except the suction opening and for directing the sucked air, the device having the suction opening, the front plate and at least one hinge, wherein the front plate is connected to the hinge with the device to pivot the front plate on the device and wherein the hinge is configured to exert a tensile force at a transition between a closing end position in which the front panel closes the device and an opening end position in which the front panel is pivoted away from the apparatus to an end point on the front panel for exerting a compressive force on the front panel passes.
  • the pivoting front plate ensures that the accessibility of the interior of the device is much more convenient than in a device in which the entire front panel, which may for example be 1.30 m long, must be removed for maintenance purposes. This greatly improves the usability of the device.
  • the device can also speak of an extractor hood or a downdraft fan for extracting kitchen fumes or vapor.
  • the haze, so laden with odor, particles or gases air is sucked out below a kitchen worktop
  • the front panel is connected to the apparatus by at least one hinge for pivotally supporting the front panel on the apparatus. This allows the pivoting movement with, for example, a defined end position "open".
  • the at least one hinge is arranged on a side facing away from the suction opening edge of the front panel. As a result, the visibility and access to a arranged under the front panel grease filter, etc. are freely possible for an operator.
  • At least one hinge of the at least one hinge may include a tension spring to assist in closing the faceplate and / or a compression spring to help open the faceplate. This can be a pivoting the front plate spring-supported on the device and thus done very force-saving for an operator.
  • the hinge may comprise a set screw for adjusting a tensile force exerted by the tension spring.
  • the hinge can be used for different sized devices. It is only the tensile force of the tension spring to adapt to the respective device.
  • the hinge is designed such that it exerts a tensile force on the front panel at a closing end position in which the front panel closes the device. In this way, a secure closing of the front panel can be ensured.
  • the hinge is also designed such that it exerts no tensile force on the front panel at an opening end position in which the front panel is pivoted away to an end point of the device.
  • the ease of use and also the operating safety when servicing the device are increased because the front panel does not unintentionally start from its opening end position by itself to close.
  • the hinge is configured to exert a tensile force on the faceplate upon exertion of a closing end position in which the front panel closes the apparatus and an opening end position in which the front panel is pivoted away from the apparatus to an end point a pressure force on the front panel passes.
  • the hinge is configured such that the opening end position of the front panel is adapted to a cooking level of a hob in such a way that the front panel in its opening end position does not touch the cooking level. This reduces the risk of damage to the front panel when it is opened.
  • the front panel comprises a front panel closure member which cooperates with a device closure member such that the front panel closure member and the device closure member engage the front panel in FIG hold the closing end position.
  • a front panel closure member which cooperates with a device closure member such that the front panel closure member and the device closure member engage the front panel in FIG hold the closing end position.
  • the front panel closure member and the device closure member are configured to release the front panel when the front panel is pressed against the apparatus in the close end position.
  • the device may be a table ventilation device, which is installed next to the hob in a table or kitchen worktop, wherein at least the suction opening and the adjacently arranged front panel protrudes from a table top of the table such that they are arranged next to the hob.
  • a household appliance in which a hob and a corresponding table ventilation device are integrated in a worktop and between the hob and a suction opening, the front panel is provided above the worktop.
