Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for processing flowable mass, in particular flowable inhomogeneous food mass, with a feed channel for feeding the food mass to a portioning portion, wherein the feed channel arranged one behind the other in the flow direction having a first portion having a first cross section and a second portion having a second cross section which has a smaller flow cross-section than the first section.
  • the invention further relates to a filling machine with a hopper.
  • Devices of the type mentioned are used for portioning of food mass, especially inhomogener food mass such as goulash, sliced, Russian shish kebab or pasta, potato products, salads and the like. If possible, such food mass should not be stressed too much by shear forces, so that the pieces of meat contained in it, meat substitutes or other solid additives, such as vegetables in the original form, usually edge or cube shape, and size are present.
