Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for controlling the transport of transport bags filled with notes of value, in which data with information from several orders for the transport of transport bags from devices for handling notes of value to a cash center are stored in a database of a central control unit.
  • the transport bags removed from the device are accommodated in a transport case for this purpose.
  • the device for handling notes of value is, in particular, an ATM, automatic safe cash register or automatic cash register systems. To dispose of notes of value received in such devices, they can be received in transport bags, so-called safebags.
  • a device for the automatic stacking of notes of value in a transport bag is from the document DE 10 2009 015 047 A1 known.
  • the transport bags with the received notes of value are transported to a cash center with the help of a value transport company. To protect the transport bags and to handle several transport bags together, these transport bags are placed in transport cases.
  • a barcode applied to the transport case in which the transport bag is to be received is first scanned manually by an employee of the commissioned value transport company to process such a collection order, so that it is known which transport case is used for this order.
  • Each of the transport bags removed from the device to be emptied is then also manually scanned by the employee of the value transport company before it is inserted into the transport case.
  • the problem with this method is that it requires a large number of manual scanning processes. This is associated with a lot of effort and time. Furthermore, such manual recording steps are error-prone and it cannot be ensured that the scanned transport bags are actually inserted into the scanned transport case.
  • the transport case intended for the transport of the transport bag is removed from a rack of a value transport vehicle, with data containing information about the removed transport case being transmitted to a central control unit via a first data transmission connection.
  • the central control unit assigns a selected order from the database to the transport case and saves the corresponding data.
  • a transport bag is removed from the device for handling notes of value and inserted into the transport case.
  • the device for handling notes of value then transmits data with information about the transport bag used via a second data transmission connection to the central control unit, which then assigns the transport bag used to the transport case and / or the order and stores the corresponding data.
  • the control unit is in particular a computer, which is preferably arranged in a control center charged with controlling and monitoring a cash cycle.
  • This computer preferably provides a database for managing the data relevant to the invention or is connected to a database suitable for managing this data and information.
  • An identification number of the device for handling notes of value to which the order relates is stored in the database for each order and is clearly assigned to the order.
  • other information can also be stored for unambiguous identification of the device.
  • the first data transmission connection is formed between the rack or the value transport vehicle and the central control unit.
  • the rack or the valuables transport vehicle includes, in particular, a transmitting and / or receiving unit for transmitting mobile radio data or for receiving mobile radio data, with the aid of which mobile radio data with the corresponding information can be transmitted to the central control unit.
  • This wireless transmission ensures that the data can be safely transmitted regardless of the location of the value transport vehicle.
  • the sent data can include information for the unique identification of the value transport vehicle, in particular an identification number of the value transport vehicle, and / or location information about the current location of the value transport vehicle.
  • the data transmission connection between the device for handling bank notes and the central control unit is also designed in particular in the form of a wireless data transmission connection, preferably also via a cellular radio connection.
  • this data transmission connection can also be wired, in particular via a secure data transmission connection over a wide area network, such as the Internet.
  • the second data transmission connection is that data transmission connection via which control data and / or inventory data of the device for handling bank notes are also transmitted to the central control unit for inventory monitoring.
  • no separate data transmission connection has to be established, but existing data transmission connections can be used, so that no additional components are necessary.
  • the device for handling notes of value is in particular an automated teller machine, an automatic safe, an automatic cash register system and / or a consolidator.
  • the notes of value are in particular bank notes which have been deposited into the device by operators of the device and to empty the device this should be removed.
  • Devices with the help of which cash cassettes used in automatic cash register systems can be emptied and filled centrally are referred to as consolidators.
  • this transport case is closed and inserted into the rack of the value transport vehicle. Then data with information about the presence of the transport case in the rack are transmitted to the central control unit via the first data transmission connection, so that the central control unit can centrally monitor which transport case is at which location and which transport case is assigned to the transport case also which transport bags are located.
  • the value transport vehicle transports the transport case received in the rack to a cash center, where it is removed from the rack.
  • the transport case is then inserted into a so-called docking station and a cover of the transport case is opened so that the transport bag can be removed from the transport case.
  • This information is applied to the transport bag recorded and transmitted to the central control unit.
  • the central control unit compares these data with those data that were transmitted from the device for handling notes of value to it via the second data transmission connection. As a function of the result of this comparison, the control unit detects whether or not there is an attempt at manipulation.
  • both the information transmitted via the second data transmission connection from the device for handling notes of value to the central control unit and the information applied to the transport bags each include, in particular, an identification number for unambiguous identification of the transport bags.
  • the control unit compares these identification numbers with one another and then detects a manipulation attempt if the two identification numbers do not match. In this way, it can easily be determined in the cash center whether a transport bag has been stolen and / or whether transport bags have been swapped. This means that it is not necessary to monitor the individual transport bags during their transport to the cash center, but rather it is only necessary to compare the inventory of the transport cases with the target inventory in the cash center. This reduces the number of necessary recordings of the transport bags for monitoring purposes, so that a simple, secure transport of the transport bags from the device for handling notes of value to the cash center is achieved.
  • the information applied to the transport bag is printed or glued onto the transport bag, in particular in the form of a barcode.
  • This can be a one-dimensional barcode or a two-dimensional barcode.
  • the barcode is printed on the transport bag in particular by the device for handling notes of value, which deposits the notes of value in the transport bag and closes the transport bag.
  • an RFID chip in which the information is stored can also be provided on the transport bag. This storage is also an inventive application of the information to the transport bag.
  • the central control unit preferably triggers a cancellation unit for the manipulated or missing transport bag, which irreversibly canceled the notes of value received in this transport bag.
  • This cancellation unit is preferably a so-called ink kit, by means of which the notes of value received in the transport bag are irreversibly colored with a dye when triggered. This means that the canceled bank notes can no longer be in Are circulated and are worthless to a potential thief.
  • the data transmitted to the central control unit when the transport case is removed from the rack before the transport case is transported to the device for handling notes of value preferably includes information for uniquely identifying the transport case so that it can be clearly assigned to the order.
  • the data include a unique identification number, with the help of which the transport case can be clearly identified.
  • the data transmitted from the device for handling notes of value to the central control unit include, in particular, an identification number for unambiguous identification of the removed transport bag, information about the number of notes of value received in the removed transport bag and / or information about the denominations of the notes of value received in the removed transport bag .
  • the transport bags After the transport bags have been removed from the transport case in the cash center, they are placed in the transport bags In particular, the recorded notes of value are counted and the inventory determined in this way is compared by the central control unit with the target inventory that was transmitted from the device for handling notes of value to the central control unit via the second data transmission connection. In this way, not only the absence of a transport bag, but also a manipulation of the contents of the transport bag can be determined in a simple manner and, if necessary, an attempt at manipulation can be detected.
  • a subset of the orders stored in the database and / or all of the orders stored in the database is displayed to an employee of the value transport company charged with processing the orders stored in the database.
  • the employee selects the order to be processed next.
  • the display takes place in particular via a display unit of the value transport vehicle or via a portable terminal of the employee.
  • data with information about this selection are transmitted to the central control unit so that, after the transport case has been removed from the rack and the data with information about the transport case has been transferred, the transport case can be assigned to the selected order.
  • the data with the information about the selection and the data with information about the removed transport case are transmitted together to the central control unit, so that only one data transmission is necessary.
  • the value transport company can individually optimize the processing of the orders given to it and put together optimal routes and still the automatic monitoring and automatic recording of the transport bags and the assignment of the transport bags, the transport cases and orders to one another can take place centrally.
  • the order in which the orders are processed can be permanently preset, so that it is not necessary for the employee to select the next order to be processed by him.
  • the central control unit specifies the order to be processed next in accordance with the preset sequence and assigns the next removed transport case to this order.
  • the device sends data with information about the unique Identification of the device to the central control unit, whereupon the central control unit selects the order belonging to the device and stored in the database as a function of these data and assigns this order to the transport case last removed from the rack.
  • the central control unit selects the order belonging to the device and stored in the database as a function of these data and assigns this order to the transport case last removed from the rack.
  • the information for identifying the device includes in particular a unique identification number of the device.
  • each order is assigned the identification number of the device for handling notes of value to which the order relates, so that the central control unit can determine the order by comparing the identification number transmitted to it by the device with the stored identification numbers that is currently being processed.
  • the opening of a safe door of the device is preferably detected with the aid of a sensor and the data with the information for identifying the device is then transmitted to the central control unit.
  • the data can only be transferred if the employee of the value transport company, for example with the aid of a chip card, has registered and / or authorized the device.
  • the data with the information for identification and the data with the information about the transport bags can be transmitted together when the device has closed the transport bags.
  • the transport case is in particular closed in such a way that it can only be opened again in a non-destructive manner in the cash center.
  • This can be done, for example, by providing a locking mechanism that can only be unlocked when the transport case is inserted in a special docking station in the cash center and is connected to the docking station via a plug connection. Furthermore, this locking can take place in such a way that a locking mechanism is used that can only be opened with a special key that is only available in the cash center.
  • a cancellation unit of the transport case is switched to an activated operating state for irreversible cancellation of the notes of value stored in the transport case in the transport case when the transport case is inserted into the rack and up to remains in this activated operating state to remove the transport case in the cash center.
  • the validation unit devalues the notes of value at least when the cover of the transport case is opened and / or when a manipulation attempt is detected by a sensor arranged in the transport case, for example a position, vibration, gas or liquid sensor.
  • the cancellation unit is preferably designed in the form of an ink kit.
  • the ink kit includes, in particular, a pyrotechnic unit that melts the transport bag so that the notes of value can be colored.
  • the wall of the transport bag can also be pierced and the dye injected into the transport bag.
  • the central control unit detects an attempted manipulation when a transport bag, which should be arranged in the transport case according to the data transmitted from the device for handling notes of value to the central control unit, is detected outside the transport case.
  • the transport bag can be detected by another device for handling notes of value and / or other detection devices, for example in the cash center. In this case, there must be an attempt at tampering, as the transport bag if is detected outside of the transport case, cannot be included in the transport case as planned.
  • the transport case can also be designed in such a way that transport bags are supplied to it, but transport bags that have been supplied cannot be removed outside the cash center. This ensures that transport bags that have been picked up are not removed again during transport to the cash center.
  • the device for handling notes of value transmits data with information about all transport bags inserted in the transport case to the central control unit via the second data transmission connection, which then transfers all transport bags used accordingly to the transport case and / or the order assigns and stores the corresponding data.
  • the transport bags are removed and identified, in particular using their respective identification numbers.
  • the central control unit compares the identified identification numbers with those identification numbers that were transmitted from the device via the second data transmission connection, and then detects an attempt to manipulate if not all of the transport bags that should be included in the transport case according to the data transmitted by the device are actually in the Transport case are included.
  • the identification of the identification number in the cash center takes place in particular automatically by reading a barcode applied to the transport bag and / or reading out data from an RFID chip in the transport bag.
  • the barcode or the data read out preferably contain the identification number.
  • the identification number can be read from a database with the aid of the barcode or the read-out data.
  • At least two transport cases can also be removed from the rack to process an order, with at least one transport bag removed from the device for handling notes of value being used in each of these transport cases.
  • the device transmits data with information about the transport bags used to the central control unit, which assigns the transport bags to the transport cases and / or the corresponding order.
  • a transport bag is not assigned exactly to a transport case, but rather to the unit of transport cases that are used for the order.
  • the transport bags are again removed and identified. A comparison is then made as to whether all the transport bags that were inserted into the transport cases are actually present in the transport cases.
  • the transport cases are again understood as a unit, so that a comparison is made as to whether all the transport cases used for this one order contain all the transport bags used in these transport cases. There is no recording and comparison of which transport bag was included in which transport case. In this way, a large number of transport bags with several transport cases can also be handled in a simple manner without having to manually record in each case which transport bag is accommodated in which transport case. A fully automatic detection and monitoring of the transport of the transport bags is thus also possible here.
  • the device for handling notes of value applies a seal with a unique seal number to the transport bag after a transport bag has been closed, this being read after the transport bag has been removed from the transport case in the cash center for each transport bag received in the transport case.
  • the seal number recorded in the cash center is then compared with the seal number applied by the device for handling notes of value and transmitted to the central control unit via the second data transmission connection. If the seal numbers do not match, an attempt at manipulation is detected.
  • the transport cases can be recorded when they are fed to the cash center via RFID chips arranged in transport cases when they are transported through so-called gates, with the help of which data stored in the RFID chips can be read out, so that the arrival of a transport case in the cash center Center can be determined automatically.
  • the transport cases are particularly designed such that they can only be received in the rack and / or data can only be transmitted from the rack to the central control unit when a cover of the transport case is closed.
  • the device for handling notes of value determines in particular whether all of the transport bags filled and closed by it have been removed, or whether only a partial amount has been removed. Furthermore, the device transmits data with information about this to the central control unit so that it can monitor the transport of the transport bags.
  • transport cases can be designed in such a way that they only comprise a single receiving compartment in which several transport bags can be received.
  • transport cases can also have several receiving areas, with one or more transport bags being able to be received in each receiving area.

  • the employee After the value transport vehicle 12 has arrived at the location of the device 18, the employee removes a transport case 16 from a rack 14 arranged in the value transport vehicle 12 in step S18.
  • the transport case 16 is, as long as it is arranged in the rack 14, with it via a plug connection connected to this. If the transport case 16 is removed from the rack 14 and the plug-in connection is thus disconnected, the value transport vehicle 12 transmits data with information about the removed transport case 16 to the central control unit 11 via a cellular connection transmitted to the central control unit 11.
  • These data transmitted in step S20 include, in particular, information for the unique identification of the transport case 16, preferably a unique identification number.
