Definitions
- the present invention relates to a filler neck, in particular for use in medicine and medical technology, which preferably serves as a component for filling foil-welded bags, in particular for mixing bags for parenteral and enteral nutrition.
- a filler neck according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from DE 92 17 062 U known.
- enteral nutrition special nutrient solutions are used, which provide the necessary protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and trace elements in optimal composition.
- Nutrients are not administered via the gastrointestinal tract, but by infusion directly into the bloodstream (for example, in intestinal diseases), one speaks of parenteral nutrition, in which the digestive tract is completely bypassed. Parenteral nutrition is particularly important in all patients who can not be sufficiently enterally fed over a longer period (3 days and more).
- the diet is usually carried out by special solutions that are administered intravenously and consist essentially of water, electrolytes, carbohydrates, (usually in the form of glucose), amino acids, fat and vitamins and trace elements.
- the filler neck are preferably connected in the welding process, in particular in the high-frequency welding process with the bag and delivered as ready-to-use systems, for example, to hospitals, where they are then filled as required with the appropriate liquids.
- the filler neck provides other properties with which the bag can be closed, for example, after filling.
- the filled and closed bags prevent leakage of the liquid and also prevent unintentional opening of the bag.
- the tightness of the filling nozzle in the closed state should be so high that leakage of the liquid is prevented even when stacking the filled bag.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a filler neck or a bag with a filler neck which substantially at least partially solves the abovementioned problems and thus provides improved applicability for the use thereof in medicine or medical technology.
- the filler neck according to the invention for the filling of nutritional solutions in a liquid bag consists in particular of a base element which connects the liquid bag via the base element with the closure lid at least liquid-tight.
- Nutritional solutions in the sense of the present invention are understood to be all types of special nutrient solutions which serve to supply a patient.
- the liquid bag is inventively fixed in particular by means of high-frequency welding and thus at least liquid-tightly connected to the base member.
- the cone-shaped filling portion of the base member is characterized by a tapered diameter, which facilitates the filling by the insertion of a filler into the liquid bag.
- the outer contour of the cover superimposed according to the invention in the closed state with the inner contour of the base element forms a part for the sealing of the liquid bag.
- the lid is fixed to the base member with an articulated connection, which dictates the direction of movement and the radius of action and allows safe and easy to use.
- the sealing central region of the lid and the base element according to the invention consists of a sealing lip of the lid and sealing lips of the base element, which is formed in a preferably cylindrical region of the sealing portion, which works on the principle of a labyrinth seal and at least one liquid-tight seal of the liquid bag allows with nutritional solution.
- the filler neck in particular in the region of the sealing portion, the function of a locking element and a seal.
- this latching mechanism for example, slides during the closing process due to the flexible materials, the sealing lip of the lid on the sealing lip of the base member and locked in the closed state behind this sealing lip of the base member.
- the lid is fixed and sealed according to the principle of a labyrinth seal.
- the filler neck is characterized in that in the closed state, the lid with its radially circumferential groove receives the end edge of the base member, whereby in particular an additional tightness is provided.
- the lid can be additionally closed with a securing element in the closed state.
- a flap attached to the cover is stretched, guided into a recess of a counter element mounted on the base element and locked there.
- this arrangement can be reversed and adapted in particular between the lid and base element.
- the sealing is effected by a plurality of sealing regions.
- the sealing lips are formed by a sealing body, wherein the sealing lips in the sealing region have at least two different heights and the sealing lips are arranged in particular in two areas, the cylindrical central region and a cylindrical portion of the lid according to a further particularly preferred embodiment, the sealing lips in the area the cone-shaped portion are arranged, in which case in particular the shape of the sealing lip is adapted to the corresponding opposite surface.
- the wall of the lid and / or base element is preferably designed differently strong and in particular stepped in the cylindrical central region.
- the sealing lips of the lid and / or base element are arranged according to a further embodiment on different stages of the wall and the sealing portion is in particular designed as a labyrinth seal.
- the at least liquid-tight fixation of the liquid bag on the base element takes place in particular by means of high frequency welding.
- At least individual parts of the filler neck according to the invention are formed of at least one material selected from a group consisting of duroplastic and thermoplastic plastic and in particular polyphenylene sulfide, polyethylene, polypropylene, poly-1-butene, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, polymethyl metaacrylate, polyacrylonitrile, polystyrene, polysulfone, polyacetal, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), blends of ethylene-vinyl acetate and polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVAC) such as Elvax or Evatane, ionomers, fluoroplastic, polyethylene, polyamide , in particular a partially aromatic polyamide, polycarbonate, polyester, polyphenylene oxide, polysulfone, polyvinyl acetal, polyurethane, and chlorinated polyether, cellulose nitrate
- At least one component of the plastic serves as a color carrier.
- a color carrier may in particular be an EVA or EVAC and serves, in particular, to color the component as uniformly as possible.
- the filler neck is characterized in that the inner diameter in the base element of the end-side filler section by 1% to 100%, preferably by 5% to 50% and in particular by about 10% greater than the inner diameter of the base member in the fixing section.
- the filler neck is characterized in that the cylindrical end edge and the radially circumferential groove non-positively and / or positively connected and in particular form a further sealing portion.
- the filler neck is characterized in that a support element, in particular a support loop is arranged on the base element. This or this allows both a user-friendly transport and a hanging storage of the connected to the filler neck liquid bag.
- the filler neck is characterized in that the lid is formed as a hollow shape and in particular at least one sealing lip in the region of the lid surface or - wall is arranged, which cooperates radially with the tubular base member in the closed state and this completes ,
- the purpose of this arrangement is i.a. in the additional seal by means of the interaction between the rigid in the radial direction lid bottom and standing with the wall of the base member in contact sealing lip.
- the present invention also encompasses the use of the filler neck according to the invention in medicine and medical technology, in particular for patient care by means of nutrient solutions and liquids, in particular for enteral and parental nutrition, probe and / or infusion dosing systems, as well as combinations thereof and the like.
- Fig. 1 shows a side view of the filler neck 1 according to the invention, which is mainly divided into the areas lid 2 and 3 base element.
- the lid 2 is connected to the base member 3 articulated via the connecting plate 6, which has a predetermined bending point by the reference numeral 6 '.
- a carrying loop 16 is attached to the base element 3. In the closed state, the groove engages in the lid edge 2 'in the end edge 12 of the base element 3. Further features of the filler neck are described in the following figures.

Description

Fig. 2 zeigt eine Draufsicht des Einfüllstutzens 1.
Fig. 4 im Detail dargestellt.
