Description

  • La présente invention concerne des perfectionnements aux ventouses électromagnétiques et plus particulièrement à celles prévues pour être montées en applique.
  • Le document WO 2007/051236 A1 décrit, par exemple, une ventouse électromagnétique comportant une source lumineuse.
  • La ventouse est constituée par un électroaimant de forme prismatique, disposé sous un boîtier ouvert sur une face pour permettre le contact avec la contreplaque.
  • Le boîtier précité est formé par un profilé, à section en U, dont la longueur est supérieure à celle de l'électroaimant pour loger différents composants électroniques nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de la ventouse, l'espace ainsi ménagé étant obturé par un couvercle. L'ensemble est complété par des bouchons extrêmes se présentant, chacun, sous la forme d'un prisme s'ajustant dans le profilé en U et comportant un épaulement limitant la pénétration dans ledit profilé dans lequel il est maintenu par des vis.
  • Les bouchons sont réalisés en une matière plastique injectée.
  • La ventouse est complétée par une source lumineuse, de faible puissance, permettant d'indiquer l'état électrique de la ventouse.
  • Cette source est constituée par une diode électroluminescente ou LED, dont les rayons lumineux sortent du boîtier par un orifice prévu sur l'aile du profilé, l'extrémité de ladite LED s'étendant hors dudit boîtier.
  • L'expérience a montré que, quelle que soit la position de la ventouse (verticale ou horizontale à la partie supérieure de la porte), la lumière émise par la LED, était peu visible à distance et nécessitait pour être vu par un observateur, le personnel de surveillance notamment, que celui-ci soit placé sensiblement dans le plan de la cloison comportant la ventouse.
  • A cela s'ajoute le fait que l'orifice prévu sur l'aile du profilé, dont le diamètre est nécessairement de l'ordre de plusieurs millimètres, favorisait intempestivement les actes de vandalisme.
  • La présente invention selon la revendication 1, qui remédie à ces inconvénients, est remarquable en ce que le bouchon, disposé à l'extrémité de la ventouse comportant la LED, est réalisé en une matière translucide.
  • De cette façon, le bouchon, outre sa fonction usuelle d'obturer les extrémités de la ventouse, a aussi pour fonction de diffuser la lumière dans un plan horizontal, cette lumière, bien qu'émise par une source de faible puissance étant parfaitement visible pour un observateur situé face à la porte, la partie extrême de la ventouse apparaissant sous la forme d'un trait lumineux épais.
  • La présente invention sera mieux comprise par la description qui va suivre faite en se référant aux dessins annexés à titre d'exemple indicatif seulement sur lesquels :
    • La figure 1 est une vue de face d'une porte montrant l'utilisation d'une ventouse connue ;
    • La figure 2 est une vue en coupe effectuée selon la ligne II-II de la figure I ;
    • La figure 3 est une vue analogue à celle 1 montrant l'utilisation de la ventouse de l'invention ;
    • La figure 4 est la vue de dessus de la figure 3 ;
  • Les figures 5 et 6 montrent en perspective un embout représenté sous des angles différents.
  • En se reportant aux dessins, on voit que 1 schématise une porte et 2 la cloison comportant l'ouverture obturée par ladite porte.
  • La ventouse 3 est fixée, en applique, contre la cloison 2 et peut coopérer avec une contreplaque 4 fixée sur la face interne d'une pièce de montage 5, affectant une section sensiblement en Z. La porte s'ouvre en tirant vers l'intérieur pour la déplacer selon la flèche F.
  • La ventouse 3 est constituée pour sa partie électrique par un électroaimant 6, de forme prismatique, logé dans un profilé 7 en forme d'U dont la longueur est supérieure à celle dudit électroaimant de façon à ménager aux extrémités dudit profilé un espace 9 suffisant pour engager des embouts 8 d'obturation. Ces embouts sont maintenus par des vis dont les axes sont schématisés par XX1.
  • L'espace 9 permet, aussi, de loger, les composants nécessaires à l'alimentation d'une LED 10. Cet espace est obturé par un couvercle 11 fixé par tous moyens appropriés.
  • Le profilé 7 présente une ouverture 12 dans laquelle la LED est disposée.
  • Les dessins étant réalisés sensiblement à l'échelle 1, on voit que l'accès à la LED est particulièrement facile avec tous les inconvénients cela présente.
  • L'expérience a montré que la lumière délivrée par la LED n'était visible par un observateur que sous un angle restreint. Pratiquement, celui-ci doit être placé, si on se réfère à la figure 2, à la droite de la ventouse et être proche de la cloison 2.
  • La présente invention, qui remédie à ces inconvénients, est remarquable en ce que l'embout 8, situé du côté de la LED 10, est injecté en une matière translucide et en ce que la ventouse est fixée de façon à s'étendre légèrement, au-delà du bord supérieur 5a de la pièce de support de la contreplaque 4.
  • De cette façon, l'extrémité épaulée de l'embout est visible sous tous les angles.
  • L'embout translucide de l'invention est réalisé avec le même outillage que ceux antérieurs, c'est-à-dire qu'il comporte des trous, des alvéoles, des canaux rendus nécessaires pour le passage des vis de fixation et surtout pour éviter la présence de masses pleines trop importantes qui seraient incompatibles avec la technique de l'injection.
  • D'une façon surprenante et très inattendue, l'embout translucide se comporte comme un guide de lumière qui favorise la diffusion de la lumière jusqu'à sa partie supérieure épaulée et renforce l'effet visuel.
  • A cela s'ajoute le fait qu'il n'est plus nécessaire de prévoir une large ouverture dans le profilé (comme celle 12 de la figure 2).
  • L'usinage du profilé 7 est simplifié et la LED est parfaitement protégée contre les actes de vandalisme.

Claims (2)

  1. Ventouse électromagnétique (3), comportant une source lumineuse (10) et étant constituée par un électroaimant prismatique (6) logé dans un profilé à section en forme d'U dont les extrémités sont obturées par deux embouts (8) comportant chacun un épaulement (8a), caractérisée en ce que l'un des embouts, disposé à l'extrémité de la ventouse comportant la source lumineuse, est réalisé en une matière translucide.
  2. Ventouse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la fixation de la ventouse est réalisée de façon à ce que la partie épaulée (8a) de l'embout s'étende au-delà de l'extrémité (5a) de la pièce de montage (5) de support d'une contreplaque (4).
