Description
- La présente invention est relative à une ventouse électromagnétique comportant une source lumineuse.
- Une ventouse est constituée par un électroaimant de forme prismatique disposée dans un boîtier ouvert sur une face pour permettre le contact avec la contreplaque.
- Le boîtier précité est formé par un profilé, à section en U, dont la longueur est supérieure à celle de l'électroaimant pour loger différents composants électroniques nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de la ventouse, l'espace ainsi ménagé étant obturé par un couvercle. L'ensemble est complété par des bouchons extrêmes se présentant, chacun, sous la forme d'un prisme s'ajustant dans le profilé en U et comportant un épaulement limitant la pénétration dans ledit profilé dans lequel il est maintenu par des vis.
- La ventouse est complétée, généralement, par une source lumineuse, de faible puissance, permettant d'indiquer l'état électrique de la ventouse.
- Cette source est constituée, généralement, par une diode électroluminescente ou LED, dont les rayons lumineux sortent du boîtier par un orifice prévu sur l'aile du profilé, l'extrémité de ladite LED s'étendant hors dudit boîtier.
- Une telle ventouse est par exemple connue de
US 5 496 079 A et correspond au préambule de la revendication 1. - L'expérience a montré que, quelle que soit la position de la ventouse (verticale ou horizontale à la partie supérieure de la porte), la lumière émise par la LED, était peu visible à distance et nécessitait pour être vue par un observateur, le personnel de surveillance notamment, que celui-ci soit placé sensiblement dans le plan de la cloison comportant la ventouse.
- A cela s'ajoute le fait que l'orifice prévu sur l'aile du profilé, dont le diamètre est nécessairement de l'ordre de plusieurs millimètres, favorisait intempestivement les actes de vandalisme.
- La présente invention qui remédie à ces inconvénients est remarquable en ce que le chant comportant l'orifice de sortie de la lumière est recouvert en totalité, ou en partie, par une réglette réalisée en une matière translucide apte à conduire les rayons lumineux.
- De cette façon, la ventouse, pour un observateur placé face à la porte, apparaît sous la forme d'un rectangle dont les dimensions sont, sensiblement, égales à celles du chant comportant la réglette.
- La présente invention sera mieux comprise par la description qui va suivre faite en se référant aux dessins annexés à titre d'exemple indicatif seulement sur lesquels :
- la
figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'une ventouse conforme à l'invention ; - la
figure 2 est une vue en perspective éclatée de la ventouse de lafigure 1 ; - la
figure 3 est une vue en coupe transversale d'un profilé apte à la mise en oeuvre de l'invention ; - la
figure 4 est une vue en coupe transversale de la ventouse, la coupe étant effectuée par un plan vertical passant par la source lumineuse. - En se reportant aux dessins, on voit que, de la façon connue, l'électroaimant 1 est logé dans un boîtier principalement constitué par un profilé 2 à section en forme d'U dont la longueur L est supérieure à celle dudit électroaimant pour réserver un espace E dans lequel sont logés les composants électroniques usuels, ledit espace étant obturé par une trappe 3. L'ensemble est complété par deux bouchons 4 extrêmes.
- L'une 2a des branches du profilé 2 présente, au niveau de l'espace E un orifice 5 de sortie des rayons lumineux émis par une source lumineuse située dans ledit espace.
- Dans l'exemple représenté, la source lumineuse est constituée par une diode électroluminescente 6 ou LED.
- Selon l'invention, l'orifice 5 est obturé par une réglette 7 s'étendant sur la face externe de l'aile 2a. La réglette peut s'étendre sur une partie, seulement, de la surface de la face précitée.
- La réglette est réalisée en une matière translucide. De cette façon, lorsque la diode est alimentée, la réglette forme un guide de lumière et tout le chant correspondant de la ventouse est illuminé.
- Pour favoriser cet effet, la diode 6 s'étend, au-delà de l'orifice 5, dans un logement 8 prévu sur la face cachée 7a de la réglette.
- De préférence, la réglette présente une section en forme de segment circulaire dont la face plane est en contact avec la face externe de la branche 2a.
- Différents moyens peuvent être utilisés pour maintenir la réglette, celle-ci pouvant être vissée sur la branche 2a ou collée sur cette dernière.
- Selon un mode de réalisation, la face externe de la branche 2a présente une rainure 9, longitudinale, de préférence à section en queue d'aronde, dans laquelle la réglette est introduite, soit par coulissement longitudinal soit par clipsage. Dans les deux cas, les bouchons usuels 4 peuvent être utilisés pour réaliser l'immobilisation axiale de la réglette dont les extrémités butent contre les parties épaulées 4a.
- Selon une variante, la ventouse peut présenter une réglette sur chacune des faces externes des branches du profilé 2.
Claims (5)
- Ventouse électromagnétique comportant un électroaimant (1), logé dans un boîtier principalement constitué par un profilé (2) à section en forme d'U, et une source lumineuse (6) dont les rayons sortent par un orifice (5) prévu sur l'une (2a) des branches dudit profilé, caractérisée en ce que l'orifice de sortie des rayons lumineux est obturé par une réglette (7), réalisée en une matière translucide et s'étendant sur tout ou une partie de ladite aile (2a) ;
- Ventouse selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la source lumineuse s'étend dans un logement (8) prévu sur la face cachée (7a) de la réglette (7) ;
- Ventouse selon l'une des revendications 1 et 2, caractérisée en ce que la réglette, affecte en section la forme d'un segment circulaire.
- Ventouse selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que la face externe de l'aile comportant la réglette présente une rainure (9) longitudinale coopérant au maintien de la réglette ;
- Ventouse selon la revendication 4, caractérisée en ce que la rainure (9) présente une section en queue d'aronde.
