Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for wet treatment of laundry according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for wet treatment of laundry according to the preamble of claim 9.
- the essential treatments are the wet treatment, such as the washing and optionally an aftertreatment, for example a finishing treatment, and the smoothing, especially mangling.
- washing is done so far in washing machines with a rotating drivable drum.
- a laundry item is moved with a rotating drum in a treatment liquid, and thereby washed, in particular prewashed and washed clear.
- Aftertreatment such as, for example, equipping the laundry batch, takes place in a corresponding treatment liquid in the rotating drum.
- the laundry items are optionally smoothed after prior dewatering and / or drying.
- the smoothing is done mainly with a defect. Entering the laundry items in the defect or other smoothing done by a so-called input machine, the opposite corner regions of an edge of each garment on staples grips, spreads, and enters the defect or the like.
- the document GB 648 609 discloses a method and apparatus for cleaning dirty laundry by exposure to ultrasonic waves.
- this method several laundry items are simultaneously supplied to an ultrasonic bath in any condition. This treatment is neither very efficient nor gentle on the laundry.
- the present invention seeks to provide a method and apparatus for simple, energy-saving and gentle treatment, especially wet treatment of laundry.
- a method for achieving this object comprises the measures of claim 1. Accordingly, it is provided to enable the treatment liquid in a tank to vibrate. As a result, the laundry is washed by the otherwise stationary treatment liquid. Preferably, the laundry is washed by the only vibrated treatment liquid without a per se conventional division of the washing process in a prewash and a clear wash in a single operation, in particular finished washed.
- the method provides that the items of laundry lying freely and completely immersed in the treatment liquid, individually suspended in the at least partially extended state at least one clip or held by at least one clip to be pulled through the vibrated treatment liquid.
- the treatment liquid in at least one stationary basin or other container in vibration.
- the still pool is not driven in rotation unlike the drum of known washing machines.
- the pelvis does not change its position when treating the laundry items.
- the pool can be installed stationary in the laundry and requires no movement drives. The thus resting pool thus requires no Energy to move it.
- the treatment, in particular washing, of the laundry items takes place essentially only by vibrations of the treatment liquid.
- the treatment liquid is preferably set in vibration by means of pressure waves, which in a preferred embodiment of the invention are sound waves, in particular ultrasonic waves.
- the invention thus provides for ultrasonic washing of the laundry items.
- other means may be provided to generate pressure waves in the basin, for example mechanical, electrical or hydraulic vibration and / or unbalance generators. Even by such means, pressure waves can be generated with relatively little energy and thereby put the treatment liquid in such vibrations that have an effective wet treatment, especially an effective washing, the laundry result.
- a preferred development of the method provides for the laundry to be moved through the oscillating treatment liquid in at least a largely expanded state.
- the laundry items are individually, without touching adjacent laundry items, moved through the vibrated treatment liquid, in particular continuously.
- an effective washing of the laundry items can be done with the vibrated treatment liquid.
- the laundry items do not touch or overlap each other, they are surrounded on all sides by the vibrated treatment liquid, which makes this type of wet treatment, especially the ultrasonic washing, particularly effective. Due to the vibrated treatment liquid, a movement takes place between the laundry and the treatment liquid.
- a relative movement between the laundry and the treatment liquid is created by the preferably continuous pulling of the laundry through the treatment liquid. This enhances the effectiveness of the cleaning. Due to the above measures, only by the vibration in the treatment liquid with otherwise stationary treatment liquid, in particular stationary basin or container for holding the treatment liquid, an effective washing takes place, which is brought about or at least supported by the vibration in the treatment liquid and optionally the passage of the Washing through the treatment liquid.
- each garment is pulled while pulling through the vibrated treatment liquid held on two brackets, the opposite Corner regions of an edge of the laundry are assigned. Of these two clips, the laundry may be kept spread and pulled through the vibrated treatment liquid.
- a preferred development provides that the items of laundry are individually pulled with adjacent corner regions of an edge at least partially spread out by clamps held by the treatment liquid. As a result, the at least partially spread laundry items are fully accessible from the treatment liquid. Above all, however, the pieces of laundry which have been individually spread out on the brackets can be supplied by the same brackets to subsequent treatments. Each piece of laundry needs so only once before the laundry in the two opposite corner regions of an edge, in particular a leading edge, holding brackets to be entered. The individual items of laundry may then be supplied from the staples to a plurality of successive treatments without the need to transfer the individual items of laundry to other staples.
- the garment can be supplied from these staples in the spread state of the defect or the like, without it previously on normally shortage arranged input machines for spreading the garment and other parentheses assigned to it must be passed.
- it may be provided to increase the distance of the opposite corner regions of a leading edge of the laundry holding clamps for entering the laundry item in the defect or the like, so that the front edge of the laundry item when entering into the defect or the like is stretched more. This can be done without handing over the garment to other brackets by the distance between those brackets, which also transport the garment in particular by the wet treatment, is increased and so the garment in question is more spread.
- brackets move it held each individual laundry item after washing through or over a drainage and / or drying section and only then enter the parentheses the individual laundry item in the shortage or the like. In this way, a clinging of the laundry items for different treatments avoided and the laundry items may also be transferred from the same brackets to the defect or the like as previously washed.
- the container or the basin for receiving the treatment liquid, in particular the washing liquid, as immobile, so stationary or stationary, container is formed.
- the container is associated with at least one means for generating vibrations of the treatment liquid and at least one transport means for moving the laundry through the treatment liquid in the container.
- the stationary container or the stationary pool is unnecessary rotatable storage and a rotating drive conventional drum.
- the device according to the invention can be constructed much simpler and less expensive.
- the movement of the treatment liquid caused by rotation of the drum in conventional devices of this type is, according to the invention, replaced by at least one means for generating vibrations in the treatment liquid.
- This agent can be very simple and requires little energy.
- the individual items of laundry are moved through the stationary container with the treatment liquid standing still apart from the oscillations by the transport device.
- At least one transport device is required anyway in devices of this type, so that thereby the device is not complicated.
- the transport device also has movable clamps for holding the laundry items.
- the laundry items can be individually moved or pulled in the preferably freely suspended and / or spread or spread state not only for washing by the treatment liquid. Rather, individual items of laundry can also be transported by the same brackets through subsequent treatment areas, especially in the extended stretched out of the brackets state directly into the defect or other device for smoothing laundry be passed. As a result, an input machine for the spreaded input of laundry items in the defect or the like unnecessary.
- the at least one means for generating vibrations in the treatment liquid is designed as a sonotrode, preferably an ultrasonic oscillator. It is particularly expedient to provide a plurality of sonotrodes or ultrasonic oscillators.
- the or each means for generating vibrations in the treatment liquid is associated with at least one wall of the container. It is particularly advantageous to provide a plurality of sonotrodes or ultrasound oscillators which different walls, possibly also all walls, the container are assigned, in particular on the outside.
- the at least one means for generating vibrations the relevant wall of the container is excited, in particular in vibrations or vibrations. These vibrations are then transmitted from the respective wall to the treatment liquid in the container, whereby the treatment liquid is vibrated.
- the transport device has a plurality of movable pairs of staples, wherein each pair of staples is designed to hold opposite corner regions of an edge of a single item of laundry.
- the items of laundry can be moved or pulled individually, preferably in a freely suspended and / or spread or spread state, not only for washing by the treatment liquid.
- the brackets in the state immersed in the treatment liquid can be pulled through the container with the treatment liquid in the direction of treatment.
- a laundry item held thereon can be immersed in the treatment liquid by the clamps, so that the respective spread laundry item can be pulled through the treatment liquid continuously in the state completely immersed in the vibrated treatment liquid.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the device provides, at least a shortage or other device for smoothing the laundry items nachordnen the container and the conveyor so that of the brackets held therein held, washed laundry is directly entered into the defect or the like.
- a dewatering and / or drying or at least a predrying can be done in several ways. In the simplest case, the dewatering can be done by draining the laundry items and drying by air drying. The dewatering or drying can be assisted by air jets, in particular hot air jets.
- the in the Fig. 1 The apparatus shown is used for washing laundry items only hinted at 10.
- the laundry items 10 are preferably flat linen in particular square shape.
- the invention is also suitable for washing other items of laundry 10, for example items of clothing, floor mats, laundry rolls (towel rolls) or the like.
- the laundry items 10 are washed in the apparatus in one pass. It is also conceivable, two or more devices of the Fig. 1 to be arranged in succession in the treatment direction 11, so that in the first device, a pre-wash takes place and in the subsequent device a clear wash.
- the device has a container for washing the laundry items 10 serving, in the embodiment of the Fig. 1 is formed as an elongated trough or trough-like basin 12.
- the pool 12 is fixedly installed at the intended location of the laundry and thus immovable.
- the basin 12 thereby requires in comparison to the driven drums of known continuous washing machines via no drive.
- the basin 12 has a flat bottom 13 which is surrounded by a circumferential upright wall, namely longitudinal side walls 14 and transverse side walls 15.
- the longitudinal side walls 14 and the transverse side walls 15 extend at right angles to the flat bottom 13. It is also conceivable that deviating from shown embodiment, the longitudinal side walls 14 and / or the transverse side walls 15 obliquely, that is at an angle greater than 90 ° to the bottom 13, extend.
- each transverse side wall 15 is assigned an upper edge 16. Such an upper edge may also be present on the longitudinal side walls 14.
- the liquid level of the treatment liquid 17 in the basin 12 is selected so that the items of laundry 10 are completely immersed in the treatment liquid 17 during washing.
- the treatment liquid 17 is caused to vibrate in the basin 12 for washing the laundry items 10. Apart from the vibrations no further movement of the treatment liquid 17 takes place in the tank 12.
- the vibrations of the treatment liquid 17 in the tank 12 are generated by provided on the walls of the tank 12 vibrator or vibrators.
- sonotrodes 18 are provided outside the basin 12, which are in communication with the outer sides of both the bottom 13, the two longitudinal side walls 14 and also the two transverse side walls 15.
- the sonotrodes 18 are preferably designed as ultrasonic vibrators that excite all the walls of the pelvis 12, namely vibrate or vibrate.
- the vibrations of the walls of the basin 12 are transmitted to the treatment liquid 17 in the basin 12, thereby causing the treatment liquid 17 to vibrate.
- the sonotrodes 18 or other vibration generators or vibrators are preferably attached to such locations of the basin 12, in particular at those locations of the longitudinal side walls 14, the transverse side walls 15 and the bottom 13, that the treatment liquid 17 in the tank 12 is vibrated as uniformly as possible. It is also conceivable to assign only a few selected walls of the basin 12 sonotrodes 18 or the like.
- the laundry items 10 are pulled by at least one conveyor 19 above the basin 12 in the treatment direction 11 through the pool 12.
- Each conveyor 19 has a circulating circulating conveyor line 20, of which in the Fig. 1 only a rectilinear section extending parallel over the basin 12 is represented symbolically.
- Each conveyor line 20 may be formed by one or more parallel circulating conveyor rails, in which symbolically in the Fig. 1 illustrated carriage 21 are movable. From in or on the conveyor rail along movable, circumferentially driven conveyor strands, such as conveyor chains, the carriage 21 are moved on the conveyor rail along the conveyor line 20.
- a downwardly directed support rod 22 is arranged, which carries a bracket 23 at the lower end.
- the bracket 23 is aligned by a lower right-angled bend of the support rods 22 so that here her not shown clamp mouth lies in a horizontal plane. In the clamp mouth of the clip 23, a portion of the laundry article 10 is fixed.
- each piece of laundry 10 is held by two identical brackets 23, which lie on a horizontal line which extends transversely to the treatment direction 11 at a distance from each other.
- the respective laundry item 10 holding the second bracket hidden behind the first bracket 23, so that only this first or front bracket 23 is visible.
- the holding each piece of laundry 10 brackets 23 have such a distance that they hold opposite corner regions of a transversely to the treatment direction 11 horizontally spread or extended front edge 24 of the laundry article 10.
- the distances between the laundry items 10 holding brackets 23 can be changed. This can be done in various ways, for example by pivoting at least one support rod 22 in a direction transverse to the treatment direction 11 vertical plane. But it is also conceivable that the holding a laundry item 10 holding brackets 23 have a distance which is only so large that without changing this distance laundry items 10 of all sizes in question can be detected. Then larger pieces of laundry 10 are not taken at the opposite corners of the leading edge 24 of the brackets but only with a lying between the opposite corners central region of the leading edge 24 or the leading edges 24 larger laundry items 10 hang between the brackets 23 stronger.
- bracket 23 is arranged at the end of each support rod 22 at the end of each support rod 22, a bracket 23 is arranged.
- the adjacent in the basin 12 brackets 23 are then on two parallel conveyors 19 with parallel conveyor lines 20 and synchronously in the treatment direction 11 along the parallel conveyor lines 20 further moving carriage 21.
- the support rods 22 are variable in length.
- the brackets 23 can be moved away with a piece of laundry 10 over the edges 16 of the transverse side walls 15. In the area of the basin 12, the brackets 23 can be lowered from the holding rods 22 into the treatment liquid 17.
- the conveying path 20 with an oblique course in front of and behind the edge 16 of each transverse side wall 15 so that the clamps 23 travel along the Conveyor 20 can be moved up and down for immersion in the treatment liquid 17 at the beginning of the basin 12 and for emptying out of the treatment liquid 17 at the end of the basin 12.
- the Fig. 2 shows the apparatus for washing the laundry items 10 according to the Fig. 1
- the defect 25 follows the rear edge 16 of the treatment liquid 17 containing the treatment liquid 17 in the treatment direction 11.
- the edge 16 on the rear transverse side wall 15 is extended to the inlet side 26 of the defect 25
- the edge 16 may be connected to a lacking well 27 of the defect 25 on the inlet side 26 of the defect 25.
- the extended to the defect 25 edge 16 extends approximately horizontally in the embodiment shown. But it can also extend to the defect 25 sloping sloping or obliquely sloping.
- a support surface 28 for the washed laundry items 10 is formed between the end of the basin 12 and the defect 25.
- the support surface 28 can lead to the discharge of treatment liquid 17, in particular that bound in the laundry items 10
- Treatment liquid 17 be perforated or lattice or reticulate.
- the laundry items 10 provide.
- the predrying can be done by air drying, and it is conceivable to reduce the drying time by subjecting the laundry items 10 in the region of the support surface 28 with air jets, in particular hot air jets, radiant heaters or the like.
- dewatering and / or drying the laundry items 10 between the basin 12 and the defect 25 is advantageous to the support surface 28 with a length to provided, which is larger than in the Fig. 2 shown and sufficient to dry the laundry items 10 before the defect 25 sufficiently or at least pre-dry.
- the treatment liquid 17 is set in the tank 12 in vibration. Serve the outside of the walls of the tank 12 arranged sonotrodes 18, which excite the walls with ultrasound. The excited by the sonotrodes 18 walls of the basin 12 bring the treatment liquid 17 in total to vibrate. Due to the vibrations of the treatment liquid 17, an ultrasonic washing of the laundry items 10 takes place. Because the laundry items 10 are spread out and pulled freely through the pool 12 with the vibrated treatment liquid 17, the oscillating treatment liquid 17 can influence the laundry items 10 on all sides and wash them. The washing effect is also assisted by the drawing of the laundry items 10 through the treatment liquid 17 taking place from the clamps 23 in the treatment direction 11.
- the basin 12 shown here is dimensioned so that a plurality of spaced-apart spread laundry items 10 are immersed in substantially flat state in this simultaneously and thereby at the same time several items of laundry 10 can be washed with ultrasound. So that when pulling through the basin 12, the successive laundry items 10 do not touch or overlap, the brackets 23 are arranged at a sufficient distance on the conveyor 19. In particular, the carriages 21 have a correspondingly large distance along the conveying path 20.
- up to four laundry items 10 are present in the treatment liquid 17 at the same time.
- the bowl 12 with such a length that a smaller or larger number of successive laundry items 10 are simultaneously drawn through the vibrating treatment liquid 17 can.
- the basin 12 with such a width that the items of laundry 10 not only follow one another but can also be pulled next to one another, ie in several parallel paths, through the vibrating treatment liquid 17 of the same basin 12.
- the laundry article 10 After being washed by the oscillating treatment liquid 17, the laundry article 10 is lifted out of the basin 12 by the clips 23 and pulled out of the basin 12 via the rear edge 16. Thereafter, subsequent treatments of the respective item of laundry 10 can be carried out in any desired manner.
- the Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of the invention in which the washed by ultrasound in the vibrating treatment liquid 17 in the basin 12 laundry 10 is input from the brackets 23 via the support surface 28 in the subsequent defect 25.
- This input can be done with the brackets 23, which have pulled the laundry item 10 during washing by the treatment liquid 17, because the brackets 23 hold the laundry item 10 with particular spreading leading edge 24, In consequence of the already spread front edge 24 can of the brackets 23 the Laundry item 10 can be entered directly on the inlet side 26 in the defect 25.
- the support surface 28 can serve for draining and predrying of the respective item of laundry 10. Depending on the length of the support surface 28, the laundry item 10 before the defect 25 more or less of the adhering treatment liquid 17 from the basin 12 are separated and pre-dried. To intensify the pre-drying, the support surface 28 is extended in the treatment direction 11, in particular to the extent that it is longer than in the treatment direction Fig. 2 shown. It is also conceivable to provide 28 devices for accelerating the drying or predrying in the region of the support surface. These may be radiant heaters, compressed air jets and / or hot air jets.
- the washed in the pool 12 with ultrasound laundry 10 is released after the eventual dewatering or pre-drying during subsequent input into the defect 25 of the brackets 23.
- the liberated from the brackets 23 laundry 10 then runs with spreading front edge 24 ahead of the inlet side 26 in the defect 25.
- the empty brackets 23 are transported back on the endless conveyor line 20 of the respective conveyor 19 to the loading station in front of the basin 10, where manually the next isolated laundry 10 is entered into two adjacent brackets 23.
- the Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of the device according to the invention, which differs from the embodiments described above essentially only in that the laundry items 10 are moved in a different orientation by a pelvis 29.
- the tank 29 also contains vibrated treatment liquid 30.
- the items of laundry 10 are transported through the treatment liquid 30 in the basin 29 in the treatment direction 11, suspended under the clamps 31.
- Each item of laundry 10 is also held by two brackets 31 at opposite corners of a horizontally oriented front edge 32. In this case, the front edge 32 between the two brackets 31 is almost stretched.
- the two each piece of laundry 10 holding brackets 31 follow each other in the treatment direction 11 at a distance.
- the vertical plane of the respective laundry item 10 suspended under the clamps 31 extends in the treatment direction 11.
- the laundry items 10 with the brackets 31 are completely submerged in the treatment liquid 30.
- the level of the treatment liquid 30 in the basin 29 is higher than in the Fig. 1 and 2 shown devices.
- the basin 29 is formed correspondingly deeper. The depth corresponds at least to the largest garment 10 hanging under the clamps 31.
- the conveyor 33 which is arranged at a distance above the basin 29, has a circulating conveying path 34 which has an obliquely rising or falling conveying path section 35 at the beginning and at the end of the basin 29.
- the laundry article 10 hanging under each of the two clamps 31 thus becomes the beginning of the basin 29 immersed in the treatment liquid 30 and pulled out of the treatment liquid 30 at the end of the basin 29.
- the inventive method runs with the device of Fig. 3 just as with the device of Fig. 1 and 2 , Only the laundry items 10 are washed in the hanging down from the brackets 31 state of the vibrated treatment liquid 30 in the basin 29. This washing also takes place essentially only by ultrasound in the treatment liquid 30, which is stationary apart from the vibrations.
- the laundry After being ultrasonically washed in the vibrated treatment liquid 30, the laundry is up-moved from the treating liquid 30 in the basin 29 from the brackets 31 along the inclined-up conveyance portion 35 of the conveyor 33 and supplied to the respective subsequent treatment.
- the ultrasonically washed laundry items 10 may be individually input from the clamps 31 into a defect 25 or other means for smoothing. It may be provided to hanging under the brackets 31 laundry items 10, 34 to orient the brackets 31 with the laundry items held by a corresponding course of the conveyor line 34 so that a direct input into the defect 25 can be done without the laundry items 10th must be passed from the brackets 31 to other brackets.
- the invention is also suitable for treating, in particular washing, other laundry, such as sheet-like items of laundry, in particular laundry or towel rolls.
- the laundry is pulled as a web through the vibrated treatment liquid in the tank and thereby washed by the vibrating treatment liquid, in particular subjected to ultrasonic washing.
- the web is thereby deducted from a roll arranged in front of the basin, guided by deflection rollers through the vibrated treatment liquid in the pool, led out of the pool and smoothed after a possibly successful drying, in particular predrying, in a defect or the like.
- the washed and smoothed sheet-shaped laundry is wrapped behind the defect again on a roll.
