Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a door seal system according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • Door seals are used in areas where soundproofing and draft protection are desired. Likewise, they should conclude light-tight. Simple door seals are so-called sliding seals whose sealing lip or brush projects beyond a lower end face of the door downwards.
  • lowerable door seals which usually consist essentially of a downwardly open, U-shaped guide rail, a held in the guide rail and relative to this sliding sealing strip and a drive mechanism for lowering or lifting the sealing strip.
  • the sealing strip automatically lowers when closing the door by an actuating rod is pushed back and sets the mechanical lowering mechanism in operation.
  • Such door seals are made, for example EP 0 338 974 . DE 299 16 090 and EP 0 509 961 known. These door seals have proven themselves.
  • the door seal according to EP 0 338 974 stands out for its particularly efficient sealing performance thanks to the one-piece sealing lip, the legs of which slide against the guide rail.
  • EP 1 936 097 is a door sealing system for use in Minergie ® -Houses disclosed.
  • the guide rail is arranged in an outer rail, wherein between these two rails, a continuous air duct extends from one side to the other side of the door.
  • sound damping elements in the form of deposits of rock wool or felt are arranged. These are intended to prevent any whistling noise caused by the air flow and to allow a certain soundproofing.
  • JP 2000-110455 discloses a door seal with an air duct and an arranged in the upper region of the air duct insulation element made of glass wool.
  • the glass wool is held in position by a perforated plate.
  • DE 38 01 692 shows sealing strips for doors or windows in the form of hoses, which are filled with a material.
  • the inventive door seal system for attachment to a door has a door seal with a guide rail and a sealing element.
  • the guide rail extends approximately over the entire width of the door.
  • the guide rail has a substantially U-shaped cross-section.
  • the sealing element is held in the guide rail and seals with the door closed a gap between the door and a floor or a ceiling.
  • the guide rail has an outer side which is essentially formed by two approximately mutually parallel side walls and a connecting these two side walls together web.
  • the door sealing system has an air duct, which ensures air circulation from a first side of the door to a second side of the door.
  • the air duct runs along said outer side of the guide rail.
  • a sound-absorbing resonator is present in the air duct.
  • the resonator is preferably formed by the door seal itself, for example, by the guide rail or an outer rail surrounding the guide rail.
  • This sound-absorbing resonator is formed in a preferred embodiment by holes in the guide rail and / or the outer rail.
  • the holes can be present in each case in the web and / or in one of the side walls and / or in both side walls.
  • the holes can all be the same size or they can be of different sizes. They may be evenly distributed over the entire surface of the web or sidewalls, or they may be arranged in one or more rectilinear rows or other patterns.
  • the holes are covered with a non-woven or other sound-absorbing or sound-damping material.
  • These sound-damping elements can be glued to the outer rail or on the guide rail, be positively slipped over this or otherwise held in position. They can be arranged on the side facing the air duct or facing away from the guide rail or outer rail.
  • the resonator is formed by a cavity, which is connected via a connection opening with the remaining air channel.
  • the connection opening is many times smaller compared to the cavity.
  • Such sound-absorbing resonators in the form of cavities or perforated plates are known in the art under the name Helmholtz resonators.
  • both the outer rail as well as the guide rail can be provided with holes.
  • one or more cavities with connecting holes may be provided on the outer rail and / or on the guide rail.
  • the inventive door seal may additionally be provided with at least one fire protection element.
  • a material may be arranged in the air duct and / or in the sealing strip and / or on at least one of the sound damping elements, which increases its volume in case of fire and thus closes the air duct and / or the slot between door and floor. It is also possible to manufacture the sound damping element wholly or partly from such a material.
  • the door seal system preferably has an automatically and mechanically lowerable door seal.
  • a door seal according to is particularly suitable EP 0 338 974 ,

  • This operating knob 40 is connected to spring elements of the lowering mechanism, which in FIG. 3 are visible. These spring elements press the carrier rail 2 and thus also the sealing strip 3 from the guide rail 1 when closing the door. If the door is opened, the carrier rail 2 and the sealing strip 3 are raised again thanks to the spring elements. Between actuator mechanism 4 and support rail 2 deposits 20 are present. These are preferably made of felt.
  • the guide rail 1 preferably has a substantially U-shaped cross-section with two approximately parallel to each other extending side walls 14 and one of these side walls 14 interconnecting web 13.

  • a sound-absorbing resonator is now arranged in this air duct L.
  • the seal or the guide rail forms the resonator.
  • the holes 10 are in this example in both side walls 14, and they extend straight over approximately the entire length of the guide rail 1. Preferably, they are arranged in the upper region of the side walls 14 adjacent to the web 13.
  • the holes 10 may also be arranged only in a single side wall 14. Furthermore, they may alternatively or additionally be provided in the web 13. You can also spread over the entire surface or be arranged in a different pattern than shown here.
  • the holes 10 are preferably continuous to provide communication with the interior of the seal. They are preferably round. However, they can also have a different cross-sectional area. Preferably, all holes 10 have the same cross-sectional area. However, they can also have different cross-sectional areas. Typical diameters of the holes 10 are 5 to 10 mm.
