- the pads 2, 3 and 4 were made respectively with lengths equal to 160 mm, 50 mm and 50 mm, so that when the motorcycle rests on these three studs, they are the only elements in contact with the ground, the distance between the plane formed by the ground, and therefore by the ends of the studs, and the circumferential plane of the rear wheel of the vehicle is equal to 392.5 mm and therefore greater than 350 mm.
- Tests were carried out with this motorcycle to simulate the test conditions during which tire adhesion measurements are made. These tests consisted in going beyond the limits of grip of the tires so as to cause a fall of the vehicle and the pilot as it may occur during these tests. The test driver was a stuntman equipped with a suit that prevented the risk of injury.
