  • an elevator door apparatus because the pivoting link and the pivoting lever operate interdependently with each other such that the direction of pivoting of the pivoting link around the link supporting shaft and the direction of pivoting of the pivoting lever around the lever supporting shaft are identical directions, inclination of the coupling member can be prevented from changing significantly when the pivoting link and the pivoting lever are pivoted. Consequently, even if the position of the car engaging apparatus relative to the pivoting lever is shifted by adjusting the position of the car engaging apparatus during installation, the amount of displacement of the movable blade relative to the amount of pivoting of the pivoting lever can be prevented from changing significantly. Operations to adjust the position of the pivoting lever can thereby be avoided during installation of the elevator door apparatus, enabling elevator door apparatus installation work to be facilitated.
