Die bekannte Stützeinrichtung weist ferner eine elektromotorische Verstelleinrichtung auf, die mit dem ersten Stützteil zum Verstellen desselben in Wirkungsverbindung steht. Das jeweils über einen Spindeltrieb in eine Verstellkraft umgewandelte Antriebsdrehmoment des Elektromotors wird somit über die erste Verstelleinheit einerseits und die zweite Verstelleinheit andererseits in gegenüberliegende Längsseiten eines ersten Stützteiles eingeleitet, so daß beide Verstelleinheiten mechanisch miteinander zwangssynchronisiert sind.
