Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a large garbage container according to the preamble of claim 1, which can in particular have a volume of about 1,000 liters to 1,100 liters.
  • Such large garbage containers initially consist of a garbage container body, which is used to receive the garbage.
  • the garbage container body can, for example, have a rectangular, pot-shaped contour when viewed from above.
  • the garbage container body consists of a base element and a side wall which, in the case of a rectangular contour, consists of four adjacent side wall segments. Four wheels can be provided on the base element for better manageability of the large garbage container.
  • the open top of the garbage container body, through which the garbage is filled, is closed by means of a lid.
  • the lid is hinged to the garbage can body.
  • the lid can be a swing lid, which is usually hinged to the side of the garbage container body.
  • the cover can be a hinged cover, which is linked in particular via hinges to one of the upper edges of the refuse container body, in particular to the upper rear edge.
  • Such large garbage containers are usually made of robust materials such as metal or hard plastics.
  • the garbage collection vehicles have a discharge with a lift facility.
  • the lifting device By means of the lifting device, the large refuse containers are gripped, lifted and tipped into a receiving area of the refuse collection vehicle.
  • the lid opens and the garbage in the large garbage container falls into the receiving area of the Refuse collection vehicle.
  • the refuse collection vehicles also have a pressing device, which in particular has a press plate construction. The rubbish poured into the receiving area is pressed together via the pressing device and moved into the collecting container of the rubbish collection vehicle.
  • the lid is designed as a hinged lid.
  • the hinged lid opens and can come into contact with components of the refuse collection vehicle and, for example, become jammed with them.
  • the opened hinged lid can come into contact with the refuse located in the receiving area and become jammed with it.
  • the further transport of the garbage to the collection container of the vehicle can be hindered.
  • the situation can arise that the opened cover comes into contact with the pressing device of the vehicle. On the one hand, this can adversely affect the handling of the pressing device. On the other hand, the situation can also arise that the cover jams with the pressing device.
  • a large refuse container according to the preamble of claim 1 is already known in another context, in which the lid of the refuse container has two cover part elements.
  • a first cover part element is included in a known manner connected to the garbage can body.
  • a second cover part element is pivotably connected to the first cover part element. This pivotable connection is realized by means of hinges.
  • the known solution is a so-called lid-in-lid solution.
  • the second cover part element which is made much smaller in comparison to the first cover part element, covers a throw-in opening for rubbish located in the first cover part element, which is used for easier filling or to prevent people from getting trapped.
  • the hinge connection is a rigid connection device via which the cover part elements are connected to one another.
  • the hinge connection is placed on the first cover part element from the outside. If the said cover is a hinged cover, the problems described above cannot be eliminated with this known cover, since the second cover part element is formed within the basic contour of the first cover part element and is delimited on at least three sides by the first cover part element.
  • a large refuse container which also has a cover consisting of two cover parts, the two cover parts being connected to one another via an elastic connecting device.
  • the DE G 81 09 028.5 U1 describes a similar cover solution for a waste container, the waste container not being a large waste container. Both of the aforementioned known solutions have in common that the cover is not a hinged cover 41 in the form of a flat cover.
  • the present invention is based on the object of developing a large garbage container of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that the disadvantages and problems described above can be avoided.
  • a large garbage container with a hinged lid in Form of a flat lid are provided, which can be emptied in a simple manner and without complications in a refuse collection vehicle.
  • the large refuse container which has a refuse container body and a lid for closing the refuse container body, has the features of independent claim 1 according to the invention.
  • the large refuse container can be a refuse container as described at the outset, so that reference is made in full to the corresponding statements above in order to avoid repetition.
  • the large garbage container is a large garbage container with a capacity of 1,100 liters.
  • the lid is designed as a hinged lid.
  • a hinged lid is arranged on the garbage container body of the large garbage container, for example by means of a suitable hinge construction.
  • the cover is designed as a flat cover.
  • the cover has a first cover part element and a second cover part element.
  • the invention is not limited to a specific number of cover part elements. Embodiments are also possible in which the cover has more than two cover part elements, for example three cover part elements.
  • the cover part elements are connected to one another such that they can pivot with respect to one another.
  • the first cover part element is articulated to the garbage container body.
  • the second cover part element is pivotable on the first cover part element arranged. In such a case, the second cover part element is pivoted against the first cover part element.
  • the two cover part elements can for example be made of the same material or of different materials. Likewise, the two cover part elements can have the same contour, but also a different contour. It can advantageously be provided that the second cover part element, which forms the front cover area, is designed to be softer and / or with a simpler profile than the first cover part element. As a result, in particular with regard to a pressing device in a refuse collection vehicle, the second cover part element can offer even fewer opportunities for attack.
  • the cover part elements are connected to one another via a flexible connecting device.
  • Flexible here means in particular that the connecting device is designed to be flexible and / or elastic and / or pliable and / or enables a flexible and / or elastic and / or pliable connection of the two partial cover elements, so that the partial cover elements are easily bent or bent against one another can. This makes the cover easily bendable in its entirety.
  • the two cover part elements and the flexible connecting device are initially present as independent components that are / will be assembled to form the cover.
  • the cover part elements and the flexible connecting device it is possible for the cover part elements and the flexible connecting device to be formed in one piece.
  • the flexible connecting device is provided or arranged between the two cover part elements.
  • the flexible connecting device is designed in particular as a flexible central part between the cover part elements.
  • the cover becomes bendable in its entirety, since at least one cover part element can be folded down and can yield when forces occur. It is also possible for the two cover part elements to be able to be displaced relative to one another, at least within limits.
  • the configuration according to the invention enables an inherently flexible cover that can yield when forces occur.
  • the lids known in the art of technology were almost rigid structures.
  • the flexibility between the two cover part elements which is realized by the flexible connecting device, allows the cover, or the corresponding cover part element, to move away, for example when it is emptied with the garbage or the pressing device emptied from the refuse container into the receiving area inside the refuse collection vehicle of the refuse collection vehicle comes into contact. Due to the flexible connecting device, the cover part element can yield, so that damage to the cover or to components in the refuse collection vehicle is avoided.
  • the cover part element can later return to its original position so that the cover can take up its original shape or contour again.
  • the design of the lid according to the invention also makes it possible for the with such a lid during a filling process equipped large garbage container only one of the cover part elements and not the entire cover has to be opened.
  • a large garbage container can thus be filled more easily, and injuries to persons, for example due to trapping, can be prevented.
  • the flexible connecting device is designed in such a way that the second cover part element can be pivoted upwards out of the cover plane and downwards out of the cover plane in relation to a cover plane spanned by the cover. This means that the second cover part element can be folded up and down.
  • cover sub-elements and the flexible connecting device are designed in one piece, the flexible connecting device being provided, for example, designed or arranged, in particular between the cover sub-elements.
  • the flexible connecting device is designed as a flexible molded element, and that the two cover part elements and the molded element are designed in one piece.
  • the flexible molded element and the cover part elements can thus be manufactured in one piece.
  • the flexible molded element can be a type of material bridge via which the two cover part elements are connected to one another.
  • the material itself can already be flexible, for example elastic and / or pliable.
  • the material can be a suitable plastic material.
  • the stability of the cover part elements per se can then be implemented in particular by their contouring, for example with support struts, reinforcing ribs, and the like.
  • the cover part elements have a first material thickness, while the flexible molded element has a second material thickness which is less than the first material thickness.
  • the two cover part elements and the connecting device can be designed as a two-component injection-molded component.
  • the cover part elements and the flexible connecting device can advantageously consist of one piece.
  • a two-component injection-molded component a so-called 2K injection-molded component
  • 2K injection-molded component is in particular a two-component process in which, after the first component has solidified in the tool, the cavity is enlarged or changed and then the second component, for example with a second injection unit, is injected.
  • the advantages of the two-component process are in particular the ability to connect different materials. Hard / soft connections, two-color combinations and the form-fitting connection of two non-adhesive materials can be implemented. This allows the physical properties of materials to be optimally combined.
  • a two-component injection-molded part is therefore in particular an injection-molded part that is manufactured in a 2-component process.
  • the cover part elements which can be hard components (somewhat HDPE)
  • the flexible connecting device is then produced in a second injection molding process, for example in the form of a soft component.
  • This soft component can, in particular, perform a hinge function and / or yield function, for example when the cover comes into contact with the press shop in a refuse collection vehicle.
  • Such a two-component injection-molded part can be produced, for example, in a turning tool or in two separate tools.
  • cover part elements and the flexible connecting device are initially present as separate components which are then joined together.
  • the flexible connecting device can have an elastomer component or be designed as an elastomer component, the two cover part elements being connected to the elastomer component via connecting elements.
  • the flexible connecting device has in particular a separate elastomer component and connecting elements.
  • an elastomer band for example a rubber band
  • an elastomer profile for example a rubber profile
  • the elastomer component can be connected to the cover part elements via suitable connecting elements, for example screws, rivet connections, bolts, an adhesive connection or the like.
  • first cover element and the second cover element have the same cover width and / or the same cover length.
  • the flexible connecting device preferably extends over the entire width of the cover and / or the entire length of the cover.
  • the two cover part elements have a different size in relation to one another.
  • the two cover part elements can have the same size in relation to one another.
  • a stop device for limiting the pivotable movement of at least one of the cover part elements is also provided.
  • the invention is not limited to specific embodiments of such stopper devices.
  • the stop device is designed in such a way that at least one of the cover part elements in relation to a cover plane spanned by the cover by up to plus 60 degrees, preferably plus 45 degrees, upwards out of the cover plane and / or by up to minus 60 degrees, preferably minus 45 degrees, can be pivoted downward out of the plane of the cover.
  • a large refuse container is equipped with a lid with a stopper device
  • the two cover part elements and the flexible connecting device completely cover the open top of the large refuse container when the cover is closed.
  • the lid consists of a first partial lid element which is hinged to the garbage container body so that the lid, which is a hinged lid, can be opened and closed in its entirety.
  • the second cover part element is pivotably articulated on the first cover part element via the flexible connecting device. In a first throw-in position, in which, for example, only small garbage units are to be thrown into the large garbage container, it can be provided, for example, that only the second cover part element is opened, if necessary until the stopper device comes into action, for example until it hits the Stopper device pushes.
