Die erste und ggf. zweite Trägereinrichtung wird vor Erreichen des Kopfes 210 der Antriebsspindel 200 innerhalb des Walzgerüstes 300 unter die Neutralstellung und damit unter den Kopf abgesenkt, um unter dem Kopf her verfahren werden zu können; siehe Figur 4 und 5.

Claims (12)

  1. Carriage (100) for transporting at least one drive spindle (200) for a roll of a roll stand (300), wherein the carriage comprises a travel unit (105) and is of such flat construction that is movable with the help of the travel unit under the drive spindle (200), characterised in that carriage is constructed as a stroke carriage with a first carrier device (110) and a first drive unit (120), wherein the first drive unit (120) serves for raising the first carrier device (110) under the drive spindle (200) and for lowering the first carrier device (110) optionally with the drive spindle (200) relative to a neutral setting.
  2. Carriage (100) according to claim 1, characterised in that the carriage comprises a second carrier device (112), which is integrated in the first carrier device (110) and is lowerable together with the first carrier device (110) relative to the neutral setting.
  3. Carriage (100) according to claim 2, characterised in that associated with the second carrier device (112) is a second drive device (114) for raising or lowering the second carrier device (112) relative to the first carrier device (110).
  4. Carriage (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first and/or second drive unit (120, 114) is or are respectively mechanically coupled by way of a stroke device with the first or second carrier device (110, 112).
  5. Carriage (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the travel unit (105) is constructed with running wheels or with runners for moving the carriage preferably on rails (500) laid on the workshop floor of a rolling mill in which the roll stand stands.
  6. Carriage (100) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised by a third drive unit (140) for independent movement of the carriage.
  7. Method of operating a carriage (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, comprising the following steps:
    - movement of the carriage (100) under the drive spindle (200) of a roll stand (300);
    characterised by:
    - raising a first and/or second carrier device (110, 112) of the carriage under the drive spindle (200);
    - receiving the drive spindle;
    - if required, lowering the first and/or second carrier device together with the drive spindle; and
    - moving away the carriage together with the drive spindle (200).
  8. Method according to claim 7, characterised in that the movement of the carriage (100) under the drive spindle (200) is carried out through the roll stand (300) from the operating side (BS) thereof to the drive side (AS) thereof; and the movement away of the carriage is carried out in the reverse direction.
  9. Method according to claim 8, characterised in that
    the carriage (100) with the first and optionally second carrier device (110, 112) is moved to a respective neutral or raised setting in the roll stand with demounted working rolls;
    the first and optionally second carrier device (110, 112) before reaching the head (210) of the drive spindle (200) are lowered below the neutral setting and thus under the head;
    the carriage (100) with the lowered first and optionally second carriage device (110, 112) is moved under the head (210) of the drive spindle;
    the first carrier device (10) and/or second carrier device (112) after passing the head is or are sofar as required raised under the drive spindle (200) in order to receive the drive spindle together with its head; and
    the carriage (100) together with the drive spindle (200) is subsequently moved away, wherein, however, the first and second carrier devices are not lowered below the neutral setting.
  10. Method according to claim 7, characterised in that the movement of the carriage (100) under the drive spindle (200) and the later movement away of the carriage together with the drive spindle is carried out in each instance transversely to the longitudinal axis of the drive spindle in installed state.
  11. Method according to claim 7, characterised in that the movement of the carriage under the drive spindle is carried out through the roll stand (300) and the later movement away of the carriage together with the drive spindle is carried out transversely to the longitudinal axis of the drive spindle in the installed state, or conversely.
  12. Method according to any one of claims 7 to 11, characterised in that the first carrier device and/or second carrier device is or are lockable to the carriage at least in the neutral setting, but preferably also in the lowered and/or raised setting.
