Definitions
- the invention relates to a submarine with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.
- the starting point of the invention form military submarines, which have at least one vertically oriented lock, which at least partially passes through the pressure body.
- the locks of these submarines can be used to bring divers out of submerged submarines and catch them up.
- the locks can be used to deploy weapons and underwater vehicles.
- the equipment of these locks is usually only for a specific purpose, for example, only to the application of certain weapons or only to the withdrawal of divers, adapted.
- z. B. trained for deploying special weapons lock may not at all suitable for discharging other objects or people and is in a use of a submarine in which such weapons should not be deployed, an unused space within the submarine, which in particular with regard to small space available smaller submarines is disadvantageous.
- the US 5,677,506 describes a submarine with a pressure vessel of the submarine in the vertical direction at least partially passing through the lock.
- the lock is designed to receive a module, wherein the module can be an extendable turret or an extendable tower for deploying or retrieving the crew.
- the present invention seeks to provide a submarine with a vertically oriented lock, which can be used more versatile compared to the locks previously known submarines.
- the submarine according to the invention has, in a manner known per se, a pressure body in which at least one vertically oriented lock is formed.
- This lock passes through the pressure hull of the submarine at least partially and has a top deck-side lock opening.
- the lock opening can be closed pressure-tight with a lid.
- the lock has a lock pressure body and an insert which can be inserted into the lock pressure body. This deployment is operationally selectable from a variety of different uses.
- the submarine according to the invention several inserts are provided for the lock pressure body, which differ in terms of their equipment depending on the operation, the equipment of the individual inserts being adapted to different lock uses. So z.
- the a closed exit or entry space for divers or in a closed design particularly advantageously forms a decompression chamber. If the deployment profile of the submarine according to the invention provides for the deployment of special weapons or underwater vehicles, in turn such operations can be used which have devices for storing and deploying these weapons or underwater vehicles.
- such inserts can be used in the lock pressure body, for example, form a living space for the crew of the submarine, a fuel bunker, a detention cell or a storage room.
- the conversion of the lock, d. H. the removal and installation of the individual inserts, can be done in a simple manner in the emerged state.
- an insert located in the sluice pressure body can be lifted out of the sluice pressure body via the sluice opening by means of a crane and then another insert into the sluice pressure body can be inserted by means of the crane.
- Maintenance work on the inserts and their equipment with weapons or underwater vehicles can be made advantageously on land or on a surface ship.
