Definitions

  • the invention relates to a housing for cosmetic product or body hygiene, solid, pasty or powder, such as a powder or a cream in particular.
  • Such a case is conventionally generally flattened (with a height substantially smaller than its other dimensions), with a shape that can be round, square (possibly with rounded corners), rectangular, polygonal, etc. It is generally composed of a body typically formed of a bottom and a side wall, and a hinged lid on the side wall and provided with a rim coming, in the closed configuration of the housing, in the extension of this wall or even styling it.
  • the hinge generally runs along the outer surfaces of the side wall and the lid (its rim most often). It follows that this hinge is visible, which can affect the overall aesthetics of the housing.
  • the operation of the cover of such a housing is generally obtained by action on a projection that has the cover away from the joint; this projection often cooperates with another projection provided on the side wall to ensure retention or locking of the cover on the side wall in closed configuration.
  • This is for example protrusions extending near the interface between the lid and the body.
  • Containers for cosmetic products or for the hygiene of the body which comprise, as before, a body and a lid, but in which this lid, instead of being articulated, is kept in closed configuration by screwing, or even by clipping.
  • a structure is hardly usable for flat shapes, so that these containers are generally larger than the aforementioned cases (they are generally referred to as "pots").
  • the lid is thus independent of the body, which forces the user to pose independently of the body when it wishes to access the interior of the container; in addition, the opening (and closing) of the container involves the use of both hands, according to complex movements that can be difficult, especially when the user is not sitting at a table or is in public places . This explains the preference often given, for reasons of compactness, simplicity of use and reliability, to cases whose lid remains permanently bonded to the body.
  • the housings for cosmetic product or for the hygiene of the body which comprise a lid permanently attached to the body of the housing generally have one (or more) hinge (s) visible (s) and protrusions , which has the disadvantage of constituting at least visual discontinuities with respect to the body and the cover, which can affect the overall aesthetics.
  • hinges or projections Another disadvantage of such hinges or projections is that they can cause a snagging with adjacent objects, or even with the inner fabric of a pocket or a woman's bag, and when this attachment occurs because of the projections used to open or unlock the cover, lead to accidental opening of the housing.
  • the invention thus relates to a housing for cosmetic or body hygiene product comprising an articulated lid whose articulation is not visible from the outside in closed configuration, allowing a large movement of the cover pivotally from a configuration retracted into the housing body, without hindering the pivoting maneuver and without excessive play between the edge of the cover and the free edge of the housing body.
  • the invention proposes a case for cosmetic or body hygiene product, solid or pasty or powdery, comprising a body provided with a bottom and a free edge and containing a cup containing a solid, pasty or powdery product, this cup being movable in translation perpendicular to the bottom and a lid pivotally mounted relative to the body between a configuration in which access to the product is possible and a closed configuration, characterized in that the movable cup is part of a mobile equipment comprising in addition to a hinge zone by which the lid is articulated, this mobile equipment being mobile in translation perpendicular to the bottom, and this housing comprises at least one elastically compressible assembly with two stable positions of recoil with respect to a maximum driving position, which is interposed between the body and the equipment movable so as to define for this equipment a maximum recess configuration and a minimum recess configuration, these configurations being such that, when the mobile equipment is in maximum depression configuration and the lid is in closed configuration, the zone of articulation of the equipment and at least a part of this
  • the cover is articulated on a mobile device relative to the bottom of the body, it is understood that when the cover is in closed configuration, it forms together with the mobile equipment a set that can be retracted, without significant play in the body in a manner sufficient to mask the joint and minimize the possibility that the cover may cling to its environment to the point of opening inadvertently; in addition, the aesthetics of the housing is very refined, since the cover has no protruding portion vis-à-vis the body and neither the articulation nor any protrusion of opening / closing protrude.
  • this assembly also has a stable configuration in which the hinge and the lid are at least partly clear of the body allows on the one hand the engagement of a finger, or at least a fingernail , a user on the lid to control the pivoting, and a pivot on a significant amplitude, allowing the use of a possible mirror disposed on the inner face of the lid.
  • the implementation of the elastically compressible assembly makes it possible to guarantee that, by pressure on the cover (thus on the mobile equipment when it is in closed configuration, the result is the bistable character of this set, the arrival of the assembly in the configuration allowing pivoting.
  • the structure of the housing is compatible with great compactness, including thickness, while giving the user a great comfort and high reliability of use (in particular, the content of the product is effectively protected vis-à-vis from the outside, and vice versa).
  • the minimum recess configuration of the mobile equipment is such that the cup is flush with the free edge of the body.
  • the mobile equipment and the body comprise complementary elements defining translational guide feet; this has the particular advantage that the translational movement of the mobile equipment relative to the housing body can be reliably obtained even if the push of a user on the cover to actuate the elastically compressible assembly is not correctly centered.
  • said legs are designed so as to prevent the moving equipment from disengaging from the body beyond the minimum recess configuration; this has the particular advantage of avoiding inadvertent extraction of the equipment out of the body of the housing.
  • These feet are preferably at a distance from the constituent elements of the elastically compressible assembly; this has the particular advantage of dissociating the guiding function and the delimiting function of the driving configurations of the mobile equipment.
  • These feet are advantageously provided with elastically compressible elements tending to move the mobile equipment vis-à-vis the bottom of the body; of course, these elastically compressible elements must not be sufficient in themselves to bring the mobile equipment into its minimum recess configuration, when the elastically compressible assembly is in its most recessed stable position in the housing body; the presence of this elastic bias can have the advantage of facilitating the translation of the mobile equipment to the outside, when the assembly elastically compressible is actuated to raise this equipment, even if this assembly is located eccentrically relative to the housing body.
  • complementary hooking means are provided between the assembly formed of the cover and the mobile equipment and the housing body to allow a temporary holding of the cover in its closed configuration; this has the particular advantage of minimizing inadvertent release of the cover out of the housing body, in particular following a violent impact.
  • These complementary means are preferably carried by the cover and a pusher that comprises the elastically compressible assembly; this has the particular advantage of allowing the configuration change to control the attachment or detachment between this cover and the housing body.
  • the mobile equipment comprises a mobile frame comprising the hinge zone, cooperating with the elastically compressible assembly and in which the cup is reversibly engaged; this has the particular advantage that the cup can be replaced without having to change the rest of the mobile equipment; Moreover, this frame advantageously occupies the entire internal section of the casing body, which contributes to facilitating the guiding of the overall movement, while giving a certain rigidity to the mobile equipment.
  • the elastically compressible assembly comprises at least one pusher which comprises two bearing surfaces that are movable with respect to one another by being urged towards one another by at least one spring, one of the bearing being integral with a closed guide track in the form of a core, generally located in a plane perpendicular to the mean plane of the bottom and the other bearing being provided with a follower pin intended to follow this guide track during relative movements of this scope.
  • the elastically compressible assembly comprises at least one pusher which comprises two bearing surfaces formed of two rings that are movable relative to one another in rotation and in translation while being applied towards each other. by at least one spring, one of these crowns having radial projections applied against an annular track integral with the other ring, this annular track being sawtoothed with recesses having at least two different depths.
  • the concept of pusher means that the mobile equipment only bears on such a pusher, so that there is no restraint in the direction of the spacing.
  • the bearings that are not secured to the housing body it is possible, as a choice, for the bearings that are not secured to the housing body to be integral with the mobile equipment, which establishes a coupling in the two directions of translation between the mobile equipment and the mobile equipment. housing body.
  • the elastically compressible assembly comprises at least two elastically compressible pushpieces with two stable positions of recoil with respect to a maximum driving position which are arranged on either side of a cutting plane of the casing passing through the articulation zone; this has the particular advantage of distributing the areas where the elastically compressible assembly acts on the mobile equipment.
  • the elastically compressible assembly comprises at least two elastically compressible pushers which comprise synchronization elements.
  • the body has the overall shape of a rectangle or a square (or even a polygon with an even number of sides); in such a case, the hinge zone may be single and the elastically compressible assembly may comprise a single pusher, this zone and this pusher being disposed substantially in the middle of two opposite sides, which corresponds to a compact and elegant shape while by allowing easy movements.
  • this body may also have any shape, circular or oval in particular, having a plane of symmetry, this articulation and this pusher, which may be unique and situated on this plane of symmetry.
  • the figure 1 schematically represents a case for cosmetic or body hygiene product (solid or pasty or powdery) according to the invention, while the figure 2 is an exploded view (without all the elements of maneuver).
  • This housing designated by the reference 1 as a whole, comprises a body 2 provided with a bottom 2A and a free edge 2B, and a lid 3 pivotally mounted between a configuration in which access to the product is possible (this is the case figure 1 ) and a closed configuration where the cover closes the access to the inside of the housing.
  • the lid is therefore permanently connected to the body (albeit in an indirect manner, as will be explained below).
  • cup 5 In this body is disposed a cup 5, commonly called “grid”, containing the product in question, here referred to as 6, sometimes called “cake” when it is solid.
  • This product can be a powder, but also a makeup element, etc.
  • the free edge 2B is defined by the upper edge of a side wall 2C connected by its lower edge to the bottom 2A.
  • this body has a generally rectangular shape, more precisely substantially square, with curved sides.
  • the bottom 2A is, in the example shown, an element attached to a side wall; the bottom and this side wall can therefore, if desired, be of different materials and have different appearances, or contrasting.
  • the body is in one piece.
  • the lid has the figure 1 , along its inner surface, a mirror 7 may help a user to apply the product 6 on his face.
  • the cover 3 is hinged, in a zone 9, on a mobile equipment comprising the cup and which is movable in translation perpendicularly to the bottom;
  • the housing is further provided with a an elastically compressible assembly having two stable positions of recoil with respect to a maximum driving position, which is interposed between the body and the mobile equipment so as to define for this equipment a maximum recess configuration and a minimum recess configuration these configurations being such that, when the mobile equipment is in maximum depression configuration and the lid is in a closed configuration, the hinge zone of the equipment and at least a part of this lid are retracted into the body while when this equipment is in a minimum recess configuration, the hinge zone is at least partly outside the body so as to allow the lid to pivot between its configurations and the lid provides a sufficient grip for a user to provoke this pivoting.
  • the mobile equipment mainly comprises a frame 11, and the lid 3 is, in the example shown, hinged to this frame by means of a hinge designated by the general reference 10; this hinge is of any known type suitable. In the example considered, it is simply formed of a hinge pin which passes through lugs 3B integral with the lid, on the one hand, and lugs 8 secured to the frame, on the other hand. As a variant, this articulation may consist of two rivets each passing through an ear 3B of the cover and an ear 8 of the frame; other known types of articulation and / or hinge are of course possible.
  • This simple hinge is substantially located in the middle of one of the sides of the casing body, given that this body has a polygonal section.
  • the cup or grid 5 is advantageously a removable part, engaged in the frame 11, this frame being itself preferably mounted on at least one elastic element, here springs (one of which is represented under the reference 12), which urges him towards the outside of the body.
  • This frame advantageously comprises feet 11A which define, by abutment against the bottom against the springs, a maximum retracted position of this frame.
  • This cup is advantageously reversibly connected to this frame of in order to remain solidary in service, while being able, when desired (eg for maintenance or replacement of the product) to be temporarily detached.
  • This reversible attachment is for example made by relative snapping between complementary elements (not shown) provided on the cup and this frame.
  • the cup is permanently secured to its frame or form, together with the frame a single piece constituting the mobile equipment.
  • the frame 11 is, in the open configuration of the housing (see figure 3 ), preferably recessed (that is to say lower) relative to the free edge 2B of the body, which allows the cup 5, once engaged in the frame 11, is flush with the free edge 2B .
  • This frame (with the cup) can further back towards the bottom of the housing body, so as to allow the cover can come, in closed configuration, flush with the free edge, thus being sufficiently retracted into this body to prevent inadvertent hooking of the lid on an outer member to the point of forcing the opening of the lid.
  • the cup is movable between a recessed configuration (see figure 4 ) in which it is set back with respect to the free edge of the body and a service configuration in which, advantageously, it is flush with this free edge.
  • the elastically compressible assembly with two stable recoil configurations with respect to a maximum driving position comprises, in practice, at least one pusher such as that represented under the reference 40 to the figure 2 which will be described in more detail in Figures 9 to 11 .
  • the frame is advantageously retained in the body (without leaving it), with a small clearance with the side wall 2C of the body.
  • This retention is advantageously achieved by a snap with play between complementary studs whose underside of the frame and the bottom of the body are provided (these studs may include the feet 11A whose frame is provided as well as cylindrical tubes 11 B integral with the bottom here surrounded by springs).
  • the frame is, in the example considered, subjected to the thrust of at least two identical springs distributed substantially symmetrically with respect to a plane of symmetry (vertical plane intersecting the articulation zone 9, for example the plane of the figure 4 ).
  • the lid can be articulated in several zones, for example two hinge zones arranged symmetrically with respect to a possible plane of symmetry of the housing.
  • the hinge zone 9 is shorter than the side of the body near which it is located (for example not more than half, typically between 1 ⁇ 4 and 1 ⁇ 2 of the length of such a side). Indeed, just a hinge extending on the order of a quarter of the length of this side (or less) to ensure a precise pivot without torsion.
  • the frame is advantageously subjected to the thrust of several springs (here in each corner of the body), which optimizes the guidance while minimizing the risk of the frame's fogging and thus jamming of the mobile equipment.
  • springs here in each corner of the body
  • the side wall is advantageously parallel at all points to the direction of movement of the pusher (that is to say upwards), which means that the internal volume delimited by this wall is of constant horizontal section.
  • the Figures 5 to 8 represent four phases in the opening of a housing such as that just described.
  • the cover is flush with the free edge of the housing body, and the bistable assembly (i.e., the elastically compressible assembly with two stable positions) is in a retracted configuration ( figure 9 ).
  • the bistable assembly i.e., the elastically compressible assembly with two stable positions
  • the axis of the joint is below the level of the free upper edge of the side wall of the housing body.
  • the bistable assembly (and therefore the pusher 40) is brought to its maximum driving configuration, or close to it ( figure 10 ); it is an unstable configuration of maximum depression which, when releasing the thrust on the cover, will result in the spontaneous arrival of the pusher in its relaxed configuration ( figure 11 ); it follows that the mobile equipment, as well as the cover, go up slightly, see the figure 7 , but that is enough to offer a catch (denoted D to the figure 7 ) sufficient for the user, using a finger or at least one fingernail, to bring the lid into a suitable opening configuration ( figure 8 ), taking advantage of the fact that the hinge 10, which followed the movement of all the equipment and the cover, is raised sufficiently above the free edge of the side wall of the housing body to allow a pivoting large amplitude, typically greater than 90 °, can for example reach or exceed
  • a spring is associated with the hinge, so as to apply a torque to the cover to bring it spontaneously to its maximum opening configuration (but not enough to prevent this cover to remain in its closed configuration when this is desired).
  • an elastically deformable element may also be provided to contribute to maintaining the lid in the other of its extreme angular positions, namely the closed configuration; it may for example be protuberances lining the free edge internally so as to ensure a slight retention of the lid when in closed configuration.
  • the assistance in maintaining the cover in one and / or the other of its extreme configurations can also be obtained by means of a hard point formed by a deformation of the axis of the hinge cooperating with an elastic blade, a magnet, or any other suitable element.
  • the user folds the lid and applies a sufficient thrust to cause the depression of the pusher into its maximum depression configuration (or close to it), so that it comes then in its retracted configuration in which allows the cover to be flush with the free edge, without exerting on it effort to remove it from its retraction configuration; in fact, the existence of a force tending to lift the mobile equipment above its minimum recess configuration is acceptable when there are restraints between the pads 11A and 11B mentioned above, constituting stops defining the high position of the mobile equipment; these reservoirs are advantageously capable of being unclipped.
  • the cover does not offer a plug at an inadvertent opening when it is in closed configuration does not imply that the cover is completely retracted in the volume of the housing, especially when it is curved as in the case here considered. It is even sufficient that only a portion of the thickness of the free edge of the cover is retracted into the volume of the housing body.
  • the bistable assembly comprises at least one bistable pusher (there are preferably two identical pushers, arranged at a significant distance from one another).
  • the pusher noted 40 has two parts movable relative to each other by being urged relative to each other by at least one spring.
  • One of the parts, 41 is integral with a closed heart-shaped guide track (here surrounding a projecting portion 42 shaped arrowhead), which is generally located in a plane perpendicular to the mean plane of the bottom , that is vertical.
  • the other part, 43 is provided with an arm 44 provided with a follower pin for following this guide track during relative movements between these litters.
  • the parts have a relative rotational movement, or the follower finger has a pivotal movement (case shown).
  • the portion 41 is here secured to the housing body, while the portion 43 is a movable portion on which the mobile equipment comes to bear for the configuration changes.
  • the pusher 41 has a track generally located in a vertical plane has the consequence that this pusher can have a flattened section, which allows to locate it along a portion of the side wall 2C of the housing body.
  • the arm 44 extends beyond the follower pin, to an end noted 48.
  • Such an extension (here rectilinear, but which can alternatively be bent) allows a connection between the follower fingers of several pushers, for example at by means of a rod 48 to the figure 2 . This allows synchronization between various pushers forming part of the bistable assembly.
  • At least one of the pushers is adapted, in the maximum recess configuration, to come into engagement with complementary attachment elements provided on the mobile equipment (or on the cover, through this equipment) ; this ensures a good hold of the lid in the closed position, regardless of the force of the springs 12; this ensures good guidance of the mobile equipment, even when the pusher is unique in an eccentric position relative to the housing taken as a whole.
  • the mobile portion 43 of the pusher here comprises claws 45 and generally oriented towards the cover and mounted sliding perpendicular to the bottom together with this portion 43, between an upper configuration in which these claws are spaced apart and a lower configuration in which these claws are kept close together.
  • the mobile equipment or the cover has a protuberance 46 (see FIG. figure 2 ) adapted to engage between the claws in the closed configuration of the lid.
  • the gripping claws are integral with the movable part of the pusher, that is to say that the pusher is of a type to hook (or lock) integrated.
  • the push and lock functions can be split into separate elements.
  • the movable part whose claws are integral comprises a stop, here a central abutment against which comes to support the protuberance to cause the penetration of the claws between ramps 47 adapted to force the claws to approach.
  • FIGS 12 to 14 represent an alternative embodiment of a pusher forming part of the bistable assembly.
  • This pusher 60 is of a type comprising two bearing surfaces formed of two rings 61 and 62 movable relative to each other in rotation and in translation while being applied against one another by at least one spring 63.
  • One of the rings, 61, movable relative to the bottom has radial projections axially applied against an annular track secured to the other ring, 62 secured to the bottom, this track facing the bottom being sawtooth with hollow (upwards) which have one or the other of two different heights.
  • the pusher takes one or the other of two configurations, depending on whether the movable ring 61 has been able to ascend, or not in the fixed ring 62.
  • This type of pusher is quite close to the principle of the push-button ballpoint pens.
  • This type of pusher seems better suited than the pusher 40 at a location remote from the side wall of the casing body. But the pusher 40 seems preferable in that it is more easily houseable within a housing.
  • Slaving can be provided between the opening of the lid and the lowering of the mobile equipment, so that the opening of the lid is only possible when the mobile equipment is in the up position and, conversely , so that the lowering of the mobile equipment is only possible when the lid is folded against this mobile equipment.
  • It may be for example a shim located on the side wall of the body 2, near the hinge, which cooperates with a finger integral with the lid.
  • housings according to the invention may have many other forms, including polygonal, or even round or oval.
  • spiral springs 12 may, in particular, be replaced by leaf springs or any other type of elastic element.
