Definitions
- the invention relates to a fuel injector, in particular a common rail injector, for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a method for surface treatment of an armature of a fuel injector according to the preamble of claim 8.
- a trained as a common rail injector fuel injector known.
- This includes a servo valve (control valve) for switching the actual injection valve element, which is adjustable between a closed position and the fuel flow through a nozzle hole arrangement releasing into the combustion chamber opening position.
- an electromagnetic actuator is provided, which cooperates with an armature plate, which in turn is operatively connected to a control valve element.
- the control valve connects a limited by the injection valve element control chamber with a low pressure region of the fuel injector, with the result that the injection valve element results in an opening direction acting hydraulic force.
- the armature plate is provided with an armature surface facing the electromagnetic actuator, which is usually ground rotationally symmetrical. When rotationally symmetrical grinding occurs due to production to the formation of in the radial direction juxtaposed rotational grooves, which lead to a hydraulic bonding of the armature at the beginning of the closing process.
- a fuel injector with an electromagnetic actuator and an armature surface facing the actuator is known, in which the armature surface has rotational grooves arranged in the circumferential direction. To complete the fluid from the recesses of the rotary grooves when tightening the armature drain holes are introduced in the wells.
- WO 2002/084103 A1 known fuel injector is arranged between the armature surface and the magnetic core, an annular damping element which has transverse grooves on the armature surface facing the magnetic core.
- the invention has for its object to propose a fuel injector, in which hydraulic adhesive effects at the beginning of the closing operation in the region of the armature, at least largely avoided. Furthermore, the surface of the armature should be reproducible. Furthermore, the object is to propose an alternative surface treatment method for the treatment of the surface of an anchor, with the hydraulic adhesive effects are avoided at the beginning of the closing process.
- the invention is based on the idea, the rotating groove structure, resulting from a, preferably rotationally symmetric, grinding of the electromagnetic actuator in the mounted state resulting anchor surface, thereby interrupting or possibly even completely destroy that at least one angularly extending to the rotation grooves connecting groove is provided, which connects at least a portion of, preferably in the radial direction juxtaposed, circumferentially extending rotary grooves together to allow in this way a facilitated inflow of hydraulic fluid in an area axially between the armature surface and the actuator, with the aim of avoid hydraulic adhesive effects.
- the at least one connecting groove preferably introduced by grinding into the armature, enables an accelerated inflow of fuel between the armature surface and a stop surface, preferably provided by the electromagnetic actuator, as a result of which hydraulic adhesive effects, at least largely, are prevented.
- the at least one connecting groove particularly preferably has, at least approximately, the same dimensions as the rotational grooves formed by, in particular, rotationally symmetrical grinding.
- a turning groove in the sense of the invention is understood as meaning a circumferentially extending groove which either completely revolves around a central point or which, in sections, in the case of the realization of several, preferably evenly distributed in the circumferential direction, the armature vanes may be interrupted by the gaps formed between the circumferentially juxtaposed armature vanes.
- the at least one connecting groove is formed as a radial groove extending in the radial direction.
- the at least one connecting groove, at least approximately, all turning grooves is formed interconnecting, that extends from a radially inner region to a radially outer region of the anchor surface.
- connecting grooves are provided, but in which a plurality of, preferably evenly distributed in the circumferential direction, connecting grooves are realized, which very particularly preferably each extend in the radial direction.
- a similar surface structure as in sand blasting can be realized, with the important difference that the surface structure is realized reproducible.
- the anchor surface is provided with a Wienschliffober phenomenon, ie with a plurality of circumferentially extending, in the radial direction next to each other arranged rotational grooves, which are crossed by a plurality of radially extending connecting grooves.
- the cross-cut surface is realized by honing, which is a machining fine machining method.
- the armature is not directly operatively connected to an injection valve member which releases a nozzle hole arrangement in its open position (wherein such an embodiment is feasible), but acts directly adjusting to a control valve member of a control valve (servo valve), the armature being either integral with the control valve member or is firmly attached to it.
- a control valve serving valve
- control valve element is designed as a sleeve part, that has a central through hole, which is preferably closed axially by a pressure pin.
- the pressure pin essentially only has the task to seal a formed within the control valve element, hydraulically connected to a control chamber valve chamber in the axial direction and support the hydraulic pressure forces axially upward.
- the invention also leads to a method for the surface treatment of an armature of a fuel injector.
- This is preferably the armature of a control valve (Servo Valve).
- the method carried out according to the concept of the invention is characterized in that a plurality of rotational grooves arising in the circumferential direction are hydraulically connected to one another by means of at least one connecting groove extending at an angle to the rotational grooves, thus ensuring a faster inflow of fuel into the region between the Anchor surface and a stop surface to allow, so that hydraulic adhesive effects are avoided at the beginning of the closing process.
- connection groove not only a single connection groove is provided, but a plurality of connecting grooves, wherein this is preferably achieved in that the anchor surface is provided with a cross-section, so with a plurality of circumferentially extending rotational grooves which are crossed at an angle to these extending connecting grooves, preferably at right angles.
- Fig. 1 shows in a plan view of an anchor 1 (here anchor plate) for a later to be explained control valve of a fuel injector.
- the armature 1 is integrally connected to a substantially hollow cylindrical, extending in the plane of the drawing control valve element 2.
- Fig. 1 is the, in the assembled state an electromagnetic actuator facing, anchor surface 3 shown. It can be seen that the armature surface 3 is formed by three uniformly circumferentially spaced wing surfaces 4 and a central annular surface portion 5, which surrounds a central bore 6 radially outward.
- the wing surfaces 4 are upper sides of vanes 7, which are distributed uniformly in the circumferential direction, with two vanes 7 arranged circumferentially next to one another being separated from one another by a radially widening radial gap 8 in the radial direction.
- the radial gaps 8 allow fuel passage in the axial direction and thus prevent unwanted vibrations of the armature 1 during operation.
- the armature surface 3 is designed as a cross-cut surface 9. This includes a plurality of circumferentially extending and in radial Direction of juxtaposed twist grooves 10, which are crossed at right angles, by a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart and extending in the radial direction of the connecting grooves 11.
- the twisting groove structure is destroyed by the connecting grooves 11, so that one with elevations and valleys (grooves) gives a textured surface that facilitates penetration of fuel into a region between the anchor surface 3 and corresponding abutment surfaces, thereby avoiding hydraulic sticking effects at the beginning of the closing process.
- Fig. 2 shows one with an in Fig. 1 12. More specifically, the armature 1 is part of a control valve 13 (servo valve) of the fuel injector 12, by means of which a control chamber 14 is hydraulically connectable to a low pressure region 15 of the fuel injector 12, which in turn is connected via a return connection, not shown, with a reservoir.
- the control chamber 14 is bounded in the axial direction in the plane of the drawing down by an injection valve element 16, which moves in the axial direction in the plane of the drawing with the control valve 13 open and thus releases a nozzle hole arrangement, not shown, by the standing substantially under rail pressure fuel in can flow the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine.
- the control chamber 14 is hydraulically connected via an outlet throttle channel 17 with a valve chamber 18 formed inside the sleeve-shaped control valve element 2. From this, in the illustrated opening position of the control valve 13 fuel can flow into the low-pressure region 15 and via the return port, not shown. Out Fig. 2 It can also be seen that in the central bore 6 of the control valve element 2 a in the axial direction in the drawing plane upwardly supporting pressure pin 25 is received, which seals the valve chamber 18 in the axial direction upwards. At the same time the pressure pin 25 serves as a guide of the control valve element 2 in its axial opening and closing movement.
- an electromagnetic actuator 22 is provided, which cooperates with the armature 1, such that upon energization of a magnetic coil 23 due to the magnetic forces an opening movement of the armature 1 and thus the control valve element 2 results.
- the armature 1 is more accurate in the Fig. 1
- Anchor surface 3 shown provided with a cross-grinding surface, which allows a fast fuel inlet from the radial direction in a region between the armature surface 3 and the contact surface 24 for the armature 1.

Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
Fig. 1 gezeigten Anker.
