  • the movable blocking rod passes through a circular arc slot formed in the actuator and has a shoulder intended to come into a suitable housing of the actuator to lock it so that the stem does not interfere with the rotation of the actuator when the shoulder is outside said housing.

  • a rod 18 is arranged in the base and passes through a slot 19 in an arc (FIG. 7) formed in the actuator 10.
  • the rod 18 is urged by a spring 20 ( Figure 6) in a locking position in which a shoulder 21 blocks the rotation of the ring 10a by coming into a suitable housing of the actuator.
  • This rod 18 can be urged by the end edge of the housing 5 of the plug to meet the spring 20 to unlock the rotation of the ring 10a.
  • the plug 1 and the base 2 of the device are initially in the position of FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7.
  • the pilot circuit 7, 8 is open and the ring 10a is locked in rotation by the rod. 18 (FIG. 6) so that the base can not be energized since said pilot circuit can only be closed after unlocking the actuator ring 10a by means of the plug 1.
  • this locking ring 10a is an additional security as will be explained below.
  • the separation of the base and the plug therefore requires two successive manual operations, namely: rotation of the actuator ring and actuation of the locking knob.
  • rotation of the actuator ring In the absence of locking of the actuator 10 by the rod 18, it is however understood that if the base is under tension after rotation of the ring 10a, the skirt 10b prevents any actuation of the button 12 and the hook 11 which remain in position locking preventing any coupling of the plug and the base and therefore any connection in charge of the power contacts.
