Procédé de préparation d'une bande (2), en particulier transportée, de matériau filtrant de l'industrie de transformation du tabac, en particulier d'une bande d'étoupe pour filtres, le long d'une trajectoire de transport, dans lequel, à l'aide d'un dispositif d'application (47), de préférence dans un logement (50) du dispositif d'application (47), un additif, de préférence liquide, est appliqué sur la bande (2), caractérisé en ce que, après application de l'additif, en particulier après la sortie de bande (2) du dispositif d'application (47), des peluches (65) et/ou des particules se trouvant dans l'air ambiant de la bande (2) sont aspirées de l'environnement de la bande transportée (2), de préférence latéralement, en passant par deux orifices d'aspiration (63, 64), et en ce que les peluches (65) éliminées de l'environnement de la bande transportée (2), en particulier aspirées, sont collectées dans une chambre collectrice de peluches (72).
  10. Procédé selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que l'air ambiant aspiré et débarrassé des peluches (65) est envoyé dans une première chambre collectrice de liquides (75), l'air ambiant provenant de la première chambre collectrice de liquides (75) étant en particulier ensuite envoyé dans un deuxième dispositif collecteur de liquides (77).
  11. Procédé selon la revendication 9 ou 10, caractérisé en ce que l'aspiration de l'air ambiant contenant des peluches (65) et des particules est déclenchée après le démarrage ou pendant le démarrage de l'opération de traitement, en particulier sur une machine, et/ou est coupée avant la fin ou à la fin de l'opération de traitement, et/ou en ce que la bande (2) est alimentée en air de soufflage dans la zone du champ d'action de l'aspiration de l'air ambiant contenant des peluches (65) et/ou des particules.
  12. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 9 à 11, caractérisé en ce que l'air ambiant aspiré et débarrassé des peluches (65) et de préférence appauvri en liquide, est déchargé dans l'environnement d'un équipement comportant le dispositif d'application, en particulier une machine de l'industrie de transformation du tabac, l'air ambiant débarrassé des peluches (65) et de préférence appauvri en liquide étant en particulier mélangé à de l'air frais mis à disposition par une source d'air frais.
  13. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 9 à 12, caractérisé en ce que le procédé est mis en oeuvre par utilisation d'un dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8.
  14. Machine de l'industrie de transformation du tabac, en particulier machine de fabrication de filtres, comportant un dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8.
