Description
- In der Vergangenheit sind verschiedentlich Vorschläge gemacht worden, die sich auf Mehrfach-Steckverbindungen bezogen haben, bei denen mehrere Koaxialkabel in einem Steckvorgang gleichzeitig mit einer Schaltungsplatte hochfrequenzmässig verbunden werden. Bei derartigen Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindungen müssen nicht nur die Kontaktanordnungen der einzelnen Verbindungsstellen aufeinander ausgerichtet werden, sondern es muss auch sichergestellt sein, dass die HF-Verbindung bis zu höchsten Frequenzen mit möglichst geringer Dämpfung erfolgt, Darüber hinaus muss darauf geachtet werden, dass bei einer Vielzahl von Verbindungsstellen bzw. zu verbindenden Koaxialkabeln die bei Steckvorgang aufzuwendenden Steckkräfte beherrschbar bleiben.

EP-A1-0 582 960 ist eine HF-Koaxial-Steckverbindung bekannt, bei der die koaxialen Gegensteckverbinder für die Koaxialstecker in einem aus Metall bestehenden Monoblock integriert sind, der den gemeinsamen Aussenleiter für alle Gegensteckverbinder bildet. Die Koaxialstecker selbst sind mittels einer gemeinsamen Montageplatte zu einer Einheit zusammengefasst auf einer Platte angeordnet und mittels Einpresskontakten in einem bestimmten Teilungsabstand befestigt. Eine flexible Ausrichtung der einzelne Steckverbindungen aufeinander ist hier nicht möglich. - Die Druckschrift
WO-A2-98/33243 - In der Druckschrift
US 6,409,550 wird (insbesondere in derFig. 7 ) ein Verbindermodul offenbart, bei dem eine Mehrzahl von Einzelverbindern auf einem isolierenden Gleitstück angeordnet sind, welches Gleitstück quer verschieblich in dem Modul gelagert ist. Das Gleitstück ist in einer Spurrille gelagert und trägt Justierstifte. Wenn die Module zusammengesteckt werden, tauchen die Justierstifte in entsprechende Justierlöcher im gegenüberliegenden Modul ein und verschieben das Gleitstück entsprechend, um die gewünschte Ausrichtung der Verbindungselemente sicherzustellen. Diese Art der Ausrichtung beschränkt sich damit auf das Gleitstück insgesamt, so dass eine Ausrichtung der einzelnen Verbindungselemente auf ihre Gegenstücke nicht möglich ist. - Es ist daher Aufgabe der Erfindung, eine insbesondere für den Einsatz bei Schaltungsplatten geeignete Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung zu schaffen, bei der aufgrund der flexiblen Ausrichtung der einzelnen Steckverbindungen aufeinander eine sehr hohe Präzision bei den gesteckten Verbindungen und damit eine erreichbare Betriebsfrequenz im zweistelligen GHz-Bereich, insbesondere bis hinauf zu 40 GHz, bei gleichzeitig gut beherrschbaren Steckkräften und ausreichend vielen Steckzyklen erreicht wird, sowie ein Verfahren zu deren Montage anzugeben.
- Die Aufgabe wird durch die Gesamtheit der Merkmale der Ansprüche 1 und 10 gelöst. Wesentlich für die Erfindung sind zwei Steckverbinder, wobei der erste Steckverbinder eine Mehrzahl von quer zur Steckerachse nebeneinander angeordneten ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen aufweist und der zweite Steckverbinder mit zu den ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen passenden zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen ausgestattet ist, und wobei die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen jeweils am Ende eines zugehörigen Koaxialkabels befestigt ist. Die vorteilhaften Eigenschaften der erfindungsgemässen Steckverbindung werden dadurch erreicht, dass die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen in einem ersten Gehäuse schwimmend gelagert sind, während die zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen in einem zweiten Gehäuse fest montiert sind, dass die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen zur schwimmenden Lagerung im ersten Steckverbinder quer zur Steckerachse einrastend in eine Lagerplatte eingeschoben sind, dass die Lagerplatte als Kamm ausgebildet ist mit nach aussen abstehenden Zähnen, zwischen denen Aufnahmeräume zur Aufnahme der eingeschobenen ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen angeordnet sind, dass die Lagerplatte im ersten Gehäuse mit radialem Spiel gehalten ist, und dass die Lagerplatte bzw. der Kamm aus einem Kunststoff bestehen.
- Auf diese Weise können sich beim Einstecken der Steckverbindung die (hochpräzisen) ersten und zweiten Kontaktanordnungen paarweise aufeinander ausrichten, so dass gleichzeitig ein HF-mässig optimaler Steckkontakt und eine geringe Steckkraft erzielt werden.
- Gemäss einer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung sind die beiden Steckverbinder als Mehrfachsteckerleisten ausgebildet, bei denen die Einzelverbindungen insbesondere in mehreren parallelen Reihen angeordnet sind.
- Eine andere Ausgestaltung der Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der zweite Steckverbinder zum direkten Anschluss an eine Schaltungsplatte ausgebildet ist. Insbesondere kann der zweite Steckverbinder in SMD-Montagetechnik auf der Schaltungsplatte befestigt werden.
- Je nach Bedarf kann der Kamm mit der Maximalzahl von Kontaktanordnungen, aber auch mit einer geringeren Anzahl von Kontaktanordnungen bestückt werden, so dass ein flexibel einsetzbares System zur Verfügung steht.
- Eine bevorzugte Weiterbildung dieser Ausgestaltung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen eine zylindrische Form aufweisen, und dass die Aufnahmeräume jeweils einen im Durchmesser an die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung angepassten kreisrunden Aufnahmeabschnitt und einen geraden Einführabschnitt umfassen, der den Aufnahmeabschnitt mit dem Aussenraum verbindet und eine Breite aufweist, die geringfügig kleiner ist als der Durchmesser des Aufnahmeabschnitts, derart, dass die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung durch den Einführabschnitt einrastend in den Aufnahmeabschnitt einschiebbar ist. Hierdurch wird die Montage der Steckverbinder erheblich erleichtert.
- Die Positionierung der ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnung kann dabei dadurch erleichtert werden, dass die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung eine umlaufende Rastnut aufweist, deren Aussendurchmesser dem Durchmesser des Aufnahmeabschnitts angepasst ist.
- Vorzugsweise weist das erste Gehäuse einen in Richtung der Steckerachse durchgehenden, an den Enden offenen Innenraum auf, wobei die Lagerplatte bzw. der Kamm in dafür vorgesehenen Ausnehmungen am ersten Gehäuse gehalten ist.
- Gemäss einer anderen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung sind die ersten Kontaktanordnungen mit dem zugehörigen Koaxialkabel fest verbunden, insbesondere verlötet.
- Eine weitere Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung als Buchse ausgebildet ist und eine als Aussenleiter wirkende Kontakthülse mit einer Einstecköffnung zum Einstecken der zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnung aufweist, in der konzentrisch ein erster Innenleiter angeordnet und mittels eines ersten Isolierstücks in der Kontakthülse gehalten ist, der zur Einstecköffnung hin in eine Kontaktbuchse übergeht.
- Eine bevorzugte Weiterbildung dieser Ausgestaltung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die zweite koaxiale Kontaktanordnung als Stecker ausgebildet ist und einen ringförmigen Sockel aufweist, in dem konzentrisch ein zweiter Innenleiter angeordnet und mittels eines zweiten Isolierstücks im Sockel gehalten ist, der nach vorne zu in einen Kontaktstift übergeht, und dass am Sockel ein Kranz von sich in axialer Richtung erstreckenden federnden Kontaktarmen angeformt ist, der beim Einstecken der Steckverbindung in die Kontakthülse der zugeordneten ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnung einfährt und diese auf der Innenseite kontaktiert. Weiterhin ist es von Vorteil, wenn das zweite Gehäuse aus einem Metall oder einem metallisierten Kunststoff besteht und eine der Anzahl der zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen entsprechende Anzahl von im Durchmesser abgestuften Bohrungen aufweist, und wenn die zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen mit ihrem Sockel fest sitzend in die Bohrungen eingepresst sind.
- Um insbesondere bei starren Koaxialkabeln die Ausrichtung der ersten Kontaktanordnungen auf die zweiten Kontaktanordnungen zu unterstützen, kann gemäss einer anderen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung zur Führung der von den ersten Kontaktanordnungen abgehenden Koaxialkabel eine Kabelführung vorgesehen sein.
- Insbesondere kann die Kabelführung als separater, einstückiger Körper ausgebildet sein, der eine der maximalen Anzahl der Koaxialkabel entsprechende Anzahl von Durchgangsbohrungen zur Durchführung der Koaxialkabel aufweist, wobei die Kabelführung aus einem Kunststoff besteht und form- oder stoffschlüssig am ersten Gehäuse befestigt ist. Vorzugsweise sind zum Befestigen der Kabelführung am ersten Gehäuse an der Kabelführung und am ersten Gehäuse aufeinander abgestimmte Rastmittel vorgesehen.
- Das erfindungemässe Verfahren zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass in einem ersten Schritt die für die Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung vorgesehenen Koaxialkabel abgelängt und die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen jeweils an den Enden der Koaxialkabel kontaktierend befestigt, insbesondere angelötet oder gekrimpt werden, dass in einem zweiten Schritt die derart konfektionierten Koaxialkabel mit den ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen in einrastend in die Lagerplatte bzw. den Kamm eingeschoben werden, und dass in einem dritten Schritt die Lagerplatte bzw. der Kamm mit den darin gehaltenen konfektionierten Koaxialkabeln in das erste Gehäuse eingeführt und dort fixiert wird.
- Wird insbesondere ein erstes Gehäuse aus Metall verwendet wird, kann die Lagerplatte bzw. der Kamm nach dem Einführen in das erste Gehäuse dort verstemmt werden.
- Wird ein erstes Gehäuse aus Kunststoff verwendet, kann die Lagerplatte bzw. der Kamm beim dritten Schritt in das erste Gehäuse einrastend eingeführt werden.
- Eine Ausgestaltung des erfindungsgemässen Verfahrens ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Koaxialkabel durch eine Kabelführung geführt werden, welche in einem vierten Schritt an dem ersten Gehäuse befestigt wird.

Fig. 1 und2 sind die Grundelemente einer Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung 50 gemäss einem Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung für die Verbindung mehrerer Koaxialkabel mit einer (nicht weiter dargestellten) Schaltungsplatte 52 (PCB, Multilayer-Board etc.) wiedergegeben. Die Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung 50 umfasst eine Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20, die mittels SMD-Montagetechnik auf der Schaltungsplatte 52 befestigt und angeschlossen wird, und eine Mehrfachsteckerleiste 10, die nach Art eines Steckers in die Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20 entlang einer Steckerachse 51 (Pfeile inFig. 1 ) eingesteckt wird. - Die Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20, deren Ausgestaltung und innerer Aufbau auch in den
Fig. 12 bis 16 dargestellt sind, besteht aus einem Gehäuse 21, das als Metallblock ausgebildet ist, und in das im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel 2 parallele Reihen von je 8 im Durchmesser abgestuften axialen Bohrungen 22 eingebracht sind. Die Bohrungen 22 der beiden Reihen haben untereinander einen genormten Abstand (im vorliegenden Beispiel 4mm), der mit dem Abstand der entsprechenden Steckereinsätze (26) in der Mehrfachsteckerleiste 10 korrespondiert. Mit jeder der 16 Bohrungen 22 kann eine Koaxialkabelverbindung realisiert werden, so dass die Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung 50 des Ausführungsbeispiels den gleichzeitigen steckbaren Anschluss von insgesamt maximal 16 Koaxialkabeln ermöglicht. - Wie aus den
Fig. 2 ,12 und 14 ersichtlich ist, ist in die Bohrungen 2 jeweils eine Kontaktanordnung 27 eingesetzt (eingepresst), die inFig. 16 einzeln dargestellt und deren Aufbau ausFig. 14 ersichtlich ist. Die Kontaktanordnung 27 hat einen ringförmigen Sockel 37 mit einem Anschlag 38. Sie ist mit dem Sockel 37 unter Ausbildung eines Ringspaltes 45 in die Bohrung 22 eingepresst. - In einer axialen Bohrung des Sockels ist konzentrisch ein Innenleiter 42 angeordnet, der mittels eines Isolierstücks 41 im Sockel 37 zentriert und gehalten wird. Der Innenleiter 42 schliesst zur Schaltungsplatte 52 hin bündig mit der Montagefläche 23 des Gehäuses 21 ab (
Fig. 2 ,14 ) und ist von unten durch die Öffnung 46 (Fig. 15 ) zugänglich, während das Isolierstück 41 zurückversetzt ist. Auf der Einsteckseite hat der Innenleiter 42 zur Impedanzanpassung ein im Durchmesser vergrössertes Mittelstück 43 und geht dann in einen spitz zulaufenden Kontaktstift 44 über. Mittelstück 43 und Kontaktstift 44 sind konzentrisch von einem Kranz von axial orientierten, durch Schlitze 49 voneinander getrennten Kontaktarmen 39 umgeben, die vom Sockel 38 ausgehen und mit ihren freien Enden radial einfedern können. An den freien Enden der Kontaktarme 39 sind aussen Kontaktwülste 40 angeordnet, mit denen die Kontaktarme 39 beim Einstecken einen elektrischen Kontakt mit der Innenwand der Kontakthülse 29 (Fig. 5 ) der zugehörigen Kontaktanordnung 26 im Gegenstück (Mehrfachsteckerleiste 10) herstellen. - Das metallische Gehäuse 21 der Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20 bildet einen gemeinsamen Aussenleiter für alle einzelnen Steckverbindungen. Es hat zudem eine unsymmetrische Querschnittskontur mit einer Kodierung 17' in Form einer schräg herausstehenden Ecke, die mit einer Kodierung 17 am Gehäuse 11 (
Fig. 7 ) der Mehrfachsteckerleiste 10 korrespondiert und sicherstellt, dass die beiden Steckverbinder nur in einer vorbestimmten Weise zusammengesteckt werden können. In der Montagefläche 23 des Gehäuses 21 sind von den Bohrungen 22 nach aussen führende Ausfräsungen 24 vorgesehen (Fig. 15 ), die es ermöglichen, den Innenleiter 42 auf der Oberseite der Schaltungsplatte 52 isoliert von Gehäuse 21 nach aussen zu führen. Zur Positionierung des Gehäuses 21 auf der Schaltungsplatte 52 sind im Gehäuse 21 unsymmetrisch angeordnete Führungsbohrungen 47 und 48 zwischen den beiden Reihen der Bohrungen 22 angeordnet (Fig. 15 ). - Wie bereits erwähnt ist jeder Kontaktanordnung 27 in der Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20 eine entsprechende Kontaktanordnung 26 in der Mehrfachsteckerleiste 10 zugeordnet. Die Kontaktanordnung 26, deren Aufbau aus
Fig. 5 ersichtlich ist, besteht aus einer als Aussenleiter wirkenden Kontakthülse 29, in der konzentrisch ein Innenleiter 31 mittels eines Isolierstücks 33 zentriert und gehalten wird. Der Innenleiter 31 geht zur Steckseite hin in eine Kontaktbuchse 32 über, die beim Einstecken den Kontaktstift 44 der Kontaktanordnung 27 aufnimmt. Am anderen Ende nimmt der Innenleiter 31 den Innenleiter eines Koaxialkabels 28 auf, an dessen Ende die Kontaktanordnung 26 angelötet ist. Der Aussenleiter des Koaxialkabels 28 ist dabei an das hintere Ende der Kontakthülse 29 angeschlossen. Zur Steckseite hin ist die Kontakthülse 29 auf der Innenseite konisch erweitert, um den Einlauf der Kontaktarme 39 der Kontaktanordnung 27 zu erleichtern. Die elektrisch leitenden Kontaktteile beider Kontaktanordnungen 26, 27 sind vorzugsweise aus CuBe und sind oberflächenvergütet, insbesondere vergoldet. - Um beim Einstecken der Mehrfachsteckerleiste 10 in die Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20 eine paarweise Ausrichtung der Kontaktanordnungen 26, 27 aufeinander zu erleichtern und damit bei gleichzeitig verringerter Steckkraft eine hohe Präzision in der gesteckten Verbindung zu erreichen, die Betriebsfrequenzen bis zu 40 GHz ermöglicht, sind die Koaxialkabel 28 mit den an den Enden angelöteten Kontaktanordnungen 26 im Gehäuse 11 der Mehrfachsteckerleiste 10 schwimmend gelagert. Hierzu wird eine als Kamm 18 ausgebildete Lagerplatte eingesetzt, die in
Fig. 8-10 separat dargestellt ist. Der Kamm 18, der vorzugsweise aus einem geeigneten Kunststoff besteht, ist in seiner äusseren Gestalt der Querschnittskontur des Gehäuses 11 angepasst. Er weist am Aussenumfang eine Mehrzahl von nach aussen abstehenden Zähnen 19, 19a,b auf, zwischen denen Aufnahmeräume 25 für die Kontaktanordnungen 26 frei gelassen sind. Jeder der Aufnahmeräume 25 umfasst jeweils einen im Durchmesser an die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung 26 angepassten kreisrunden Aufnahmeabschnitt 25a und einen geraden Einführabschnitt 25b, der den Aufnahmeabschnitt 25a mit dem Aussenraum verbindet. Die kreisrunden Aufnahmeabschnitte 25a entsprechen in ihrer lateralen Anordnung den Bohrungen 22 im Gehäuse 21 der anderen Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20. Der Einführabschnitt 25b hat eine Breite b (Fig. 8 ), die geringfügig kleiner ist als der Durchmesser D des Aufnahmeabschnitts 25a, und zwar derart, dass die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung 26 seitlich durch den Einführabschnitt 25b einrastend in den Aufnahmeabschnitt 25a einschiebbar ist. In axialer Richtung wird die im Kamm 18 gehaltene Kontaktanordnung 26 dadurch fixiert, dass auf der Kontakthülse 29 eine umlaufende Rastnut 30 ausgebildet ist (Fig. 11 ), deren Breite der Dicke des Kamms 18 entspricht. - Sind im Kamm 18 alle 16 Koaxialkabel 28 mit ihren angelöteten Kontaktanordnungen 26 in die jeweiligen Aufnahmeabschnitte 25a eingeschnappt, wird der so bestückte Kamm 18 von hinten in den Innenraum 12 des Gehäuses 10 eingeschoben und dort schwimmend gehalten. Dieser Vorgang gestaltet sich unterschiedlich, je nachdem, ob das Gehäuse 11 aus Metall oder aus einem nachgebenden Kunststoff hergestellt ist. Im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel wird von einem Gehäuse 11 aus Metall ausgegangen. In der Wand des Gehäuses 11 sind auf allen vier Seiten jeweils zwei parallel laufende Schlitze 13, 13' sowie 14, 14' und 15, 15' vorgesehen. Die unteren, breiteren Schlitze 13, 14 und 15 (Schlitzbreite = Kammdicke) nehmen den Kamm 18 auf und halten in mit radialem Spiel. Die oberen, schmaleren Schlitze 13', 14, und 15' definieren jeweils einen zwischen den Schlitzpaaren liegenden Steg, der zum Verstemmen des Kamms 18 im Gehäuse 11 herangezogen werden kann: Die mittleren Zähne 19a des Kamms 18 sind länger ausgeführt als die anderen Zähne 19b. Entsprechend den längeren Zähnen 19a ist im Gehäuse 11 an gegenüberliegenden Wänden jeweils eine an die längeren Zähne 19a angepasste Ausnehmung 16 angebracht, die von hinten nach vorne verläuft und im Bereich der Schlitze 13 endet. Beim Einsetzen des Kamms 18 in das Gehäuse 11 können die längeren Zähne 19a in den Ausnehmungen 16 ungehindert nach vorne bewegt werden (
Fig. 4 ), bis sie auf Höhe der Schlitze 13 am Ende der Ausnehmung 16 anstossen. Die Stege zwischen den Schlitzen 13, 13' bzw. 14, 14' und 15, 15' können dann nach innen verstemmt werden, um den Kamm in dieser Position zu halten. - Ist das Gehäuse 11 aus einem Kunststoff, können die Stege als Rastmittel eingesetzt werden, die beim Einschieben des Kamms18 elastisch nach aussen ausweichen und hinter dem Kamm 18 einrastend zurückschnappen. Andere Verrastungen sind aber auch denkbar.
- Wird beim Einstecken das Gehäuse 11 der ersten Mehrfachsteckerleiste 10 über das Gehäuse 21 der zweiten Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20 geschoben, können sich die im Kamm 18 gehaltenen Kontaktanordnungen 26 mit den angeschlossenen Koaxialkabeln 28 aufgrund des Spiels auf die gegenüberliegenden Kontaktanordnungen 27 einstellen, so dass sich sehr präzise Koaxialverbindungen ergeben.
- Bei vergleichsweise starren Koaxialkabeln 28 können auf die an den Enden angebrachten und in den Kamm 18 eingeschnappten ersten Kontaktanordnungen 26 erhebliche seitlich wirkende Kräfte einwirken, die ein Verkippen der ersten Kontaktanordnungen bewirken und den Steckvorgang erschweren. Um derartige Schwierigkeiten sicher zu vermeiden, kann gemäss
Fig. 17 bis 20 eine Kabelführung 53 eingesetzt werden, welche die aus dem ersten Gehäuse 11 herauskommenden Koaxialkabel 28 parallel ausrichtet und gleichzeitig als Knickschutz wirkt. - Die Kabelführung 53 ist als einstückiger Körper aus Kunststoff ausgeführt (
Fig. 18 ) und hat eine Anzahl paralleler Durchgangsbohrungen 54 zur Durchführung der Koaxialkabel 28, die in Zahl und Anordnung den Bohrungen 22 in der Mehrfachsteckerleiste 20 entsprechen. Der Durchmesser der Durchgangsbohrungen 54 kann so gewählt sein, dass die fertig konfektionierten Koaxialkabel 28 mit den ersten Kontaktanordnungen 26 hindurch geschoben werden können, bevor sie dann in den Kamm 18 eingeschnappt werden. - Die Randkontur der Kabelführung 53 korrespondiert mit der Randkontur des Innenraums 12 des ersten Gehäuses 11. Insbesondere ist an den langen Seiten der Kabelführung 53 eine Verdickung 55 vorgesehen, die an die Ausnehmung 19 an der innenwand des ersten Gehäuses 11 angepasst ist und zur Führung der Kabelführung 53 im Gehäuse 11 dient. Am unteren Rand der Kabelführung 53 sind auf jeder der vier Seiten seitlich herausstehende Rastnasen 56, 57 angeordnet, die beim Einschieben der Kabelführung 53 in das erste Gehäuse 11 in den oberen Schlitzen 13', 14', 15' einrasten. Im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel schliesst die eingesetzte Kabelführung 53 nahezu bündig mit der oberen Kante des ersten Gehäuses ab. Es ist jedoch auch denkbar, dass die Kabelführung aus dem Gehäuse 11 nach hinten mehr oder weniger stark hinaussteht, um die Abstützung und Ausrichtung der Koaxialkabel noch weiter zu verstärken. Weiterhin ist es denkbar, dass die Kabelführung durch Umspritzen mit einer Kunststoffmasse ausgeführt wird und/oder am ersten Gehäuse stoffschlüssig befestigt wird.
- Insgesamt ergibt sich mit der Erfindung eine Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung, die sich durch folgende Eigenschaften und Vorteile auszeichnet:
- Mehrfachkabelverbindung für Kontaktierung auf gedruckte Schaltung, auf engstem Raum für hohe Datenübertragungsrate (40 GHz, 40Gb/s) und grosse Anzahl Steckzyklen (>3000);
- gute Abschirmungseigenschaften, niedrige Steckkraft;
- schwimmend gelagerte Kabelassemblies in Mehrfachsteckerleiste und als Gegenstück eine Mehrfachsteckerleiste in SMD-Montagetechnik auf der Printplatte;
- die Kabelstecker werden in einem Kamm geführt. Der Kamm ist in der Mehrfachsteckerleiste mit radialem Spiel gelagert und ermöglicht einen Toleranzausgleich gegenüber der auf der Printplatte starren Buchsen-Anordnung;
- der Kamm mit eingelagerter Kabelassemblies wird im Gehäuse der Steckerleiste eingeschnappt (Kunststoffgehäuse) oder verstemmt (Metallgehäuse);
- einsetzbar vor allem in der Messtechnik: Für das präzise und effiziente Testen von gedruckten Schaltungsanordnungen; oder
- für mehrfache Kabel zu Printverbindungen aller Art.

- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung (50), insbesondere für die lösbare Verbindung einer Mehrzahl von Koaxialkabeln mit einer Schaltungsplatte (52) für Betriebsfrequenzen von mehreren GHz, welche Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung (50), einen ersten Steckverbinder (10) und einen zweiten Steckverbinder (20) umfasst, welche Steckverbinder (10, 20) entlang einer Steckerachse (51) ineinander einsteckbar sind, wobei der erste Steckverbinder (10) eine Mehrzahl von quer zur Steckerachse (51) nebeneinander angeordneten ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) aufweist und der zweite Steckverbinder (20) mit zu den ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) passenden zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (27) ausgestattet ist, und wobei die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) jeweils am Ende eines zugehörigen Koaxialkabels (28) befestigt ist, wobei die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) in einem ersten Gehäuse (11) schwimmend gelagert sind, während die zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (27) in einem zweiten Gehäuse (21) fest montiert sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) zur schwimmenden Lagerung im ersten Steckverbinder (10) quer zur Steckerachse (51) einrastend in eine Lagerplatte (18) eingeschoben sind, dass die Lagerplatte (18) im ersten Gehäuse (11) mit radialem Spiel gehalten ist, dass die Lagerplatte als Kamm (18) ausgebildet ist mit nach aussen abstehenden Zähnen (19; 19a,b), zwischen denen Aufnahmeräume (25) zur Aufnahme der eingeschobenen ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) angeordnet sind, und dass die Lagerplatte (18) aus einem Kunststoff besteht.
- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beiden Steckverbinder (10, 20) als Mehrfachsteckerleisten ausgebildet sind.
- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Steckverbinder (20) zum direkten Anschluss an eine Schaltungsplatte (52) ausgebildet ist.
- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) eine zylindrische Form aufweisen, und dass die Aufnahmeräume (25) jeweils einen im Durchmesser an die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung (26) angepassten kreisrunden Aufnahmeabschnitt (25a) und einen geraden Einführabschnitt (25b) umfassen, der den Aufnahmeabschnitt (25a) mit dem Aussenraum verbindet und eine Breite (b) aufweist, die geringfügig kleiner ist als der Durchmesser (D) des Aufnahmeabschnitts (25a), derart, dass die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung (26) durch den Einführabschnitt (25b) einrastend in den Aufnahmeabschnitt (25a) einschiebbar ist, und dass die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung (26) eine umlaufende Rastnut (30) aufweist, deren Aussendurchmesser dem Durchmesser (D) des Aufnahmeabschnitts (25a) angepasst ist.
- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Gehäuse (11) einen in Richtung der Steckerachse (51) durchgehenden, an den Enden offenen Innenraum (12) aufweist, und dass die Lagerplatte (18) in dafür vorgesehenen Ausnehmungen (13, 14, 15) am ersten Gehäuse (11) mit Spiel gehalten ist.
- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die ersten Kontaktanordnungen (26) mit dem zugehörigen Koaxialkabel (28) fest verbunden, insbesondere verlötet oder gekrimpt sind.
- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste koaxiale Kontaktanordnung (26) als Buchse ausgebildet ist und eine als Aussenleiter wirkende Kontakthülse (29) mit einer Einstecköff nung (34) zum Einstecken der zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnung (27)aufweist, in der konzentrisch ein erster Innenleiter (31) angeordnet und mittels eines ersten Isolierstücks (33) in der Kontakthülse (29) gehalten ist, der zur Einstecköffnung (34) hin in eine Kontaktbuchse (32) übergeht, und dass die zweite koaxiale Kontaktanordnung (27) als Stecker ausgebildet ist und einen ringförmigen Sockel (37) aufweist, in dem konzentrisch ein zweiter Innenleiter (42) angeordnet und mittels eines zweiten Isolierstücks (41) im Sockel (37) gehalten ist, der nach vorne zu in einen Kontaktstift (44) übergeht, und dass am Sockel (37) ein Kranz von sich in axialer Richtung erstreckenden federnden Kontaktarmen (39) angeformt ist, der beim Einstecken der Steckverbindung in die Kontakthülse (29) der zugeordneten ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnung (26) einfährt und diese auf der Innenseite kontaktiert.
- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Gehäuse (21) aus einem Metall oder einem metallisierten Kunststoff besteht und eine der Anzahl der zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (27) entsprechende Anzahl von im Durchmesser abgestuften Bohrungen (22) aufweist, und dass die zweiten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (27) mit ihrem Sockel (37) fest sitzend in die Bohrungen (22) eingepresst sind.
- Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zur Führung der von den ersten Kontaktanordnungen (26) abgehenden Koaxialkabel (28) eine Kabelführung (53) vorgesehen ist, dass die Kabelführung (53) als separater, einstückiger Körper ausgebildet ist, der eine der maximalen Anzahl der Koaxialkabel (28) entsprechende Anzahl von Durchgangsbohrungen (54) zur Durchführung der Koaxialkabel (28) aufweist, dass die Kabelführung (53) aus einem Kunststoff besteht, dass die Kabelführung (53) form- oder stoffschlüssig am ersten Gehäuse (11) befestigt ist, und dass zum Befestigen der Kabelführung (53) am ersten Gehäuse (11) an der Kabelführung (53) und am ersten Gehäuse (11) aufeinander abgestimmte Rastmittel (13', 14', 15'; 56, 57) vorgesehen sind.
- Verfahren zum Montieren einer Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in einem ersten Schritt die für die Mehrfach-Koaxialkabel-Steckverbindung vorgesehenen Koaxialkabel (28) abgelängt und die ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) jeweils an den Enden der Koaxialkabel (28) kontaktierend befestigt, insbesondere angelötet oder gekrimpt werden, dass in einem zweiten Schritt die derart konfektionierten Koaxialkabel mit den ersten koaxialen Kontaktanordnungen (26) einrastend in die Lagerplatte (18) eingeschoben werden, und dass in einem dritten Schritt die Lagerplatte (18) mit den darin gehaltenen konfektionierten Koaxialkabeln in das erste Gehäuse (11) eingeführt und dort fixiert wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein erstes Gehäuse (11) aus Metall verwendet wird, und dass die Lagerplatte (18) nach dem Einführen in das erste Gehäuse (11) dort verstemmt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein erstes Gehäuse (11) aus Kunststoff verwendet wird, und dass die Lagerplatte (18) beim dritten Schritt in das erste Gehäuse (11) einrastend eingeführt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Koaxialkabel (28) durch eine Kabelführung (53) geführt werden, welche in einem vierten Schritt an dem ersten Gehäuse (11) befestigt wird.
