Description

Beschreibungdescription

The invention relates to a weapons trough for a submarine with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.

Tiller wells are understood to be weapons storage devices in submarines designed to hold weapons to be deployed via the torpedo tube, such as torpedoes, rockets and marine mines, in the submarine. In addition, the weapon troughs are provided for loading the torpedo tubes with the weapons stored on the weapon trough, wherein a trough is positioned behind a torpedo tube so that the weapon can be moved from the trough into the torpedo tube.

During storage in the gun well, the weapons located thereon are clamped by means of several straps and secured in this way against unintentional movement both in the longitudinal direction of the weapon and transversely thereto frictionally, such as in US 4, 685, 412 described. The lashing and loosening the straps is done manually and is relatively strenuous and time consuming, which can prove particularly disadvantageous in combat situations when reloading the weapons in the torpedo tubes.

Against this background, it is the object of the invention to provide a weapon trough, which allows a secure and fast fixation of a weapon stored there and a quick release of this fixation. This object is achieved by a weapon trough with the features specified in claim 1. Advantageous developments of this gun well will become apparent from the dependent claims, the following description and the drawings. The features of the subclaims can according to the invention in each case but also in combination the inventive solution according to claim 1 ausgestalten.

The weapon trough invention is intended for use in submarines. It is designed to support at least one weapon to be deployed over the torpedo tube, wherein the number of weapons stored in the trough is generally dependent on the length of these weapons. The basic idea of the invention is to use a projection on the lateral surface of such weapons for their fixation in the torpedo tube per se for fixing the weapons in the weapon trough and to provide at least one each weapon in the storage position circumferentially surrounding headband on the trough Positive locking means are arranged, which fix the weapon on the projection formed on the weapon in the longitudinal direction of the weapon form fit. Here, the typically rigid trained headband, which extends from the edges of the trough above this, even a positive locking means, which secures a lying in the gun trough weapon against movement in the radial direction away from the gun trough.

For fixing the weapon, the locking means arranged on the retaining clip can be designed such that they fully embrace the projection of the weapon at least in the longitudinal direction of the weapon or engage transversely to the longitudinal direction of the weapon in a formed on the projection of the weapon recess. By means of simple mechanisms suitable for this purpose, the interlocking means can be quickly brought into a position defining the weapon and releasing the weapon be, resulting in the weapon trough according to the invention compared to the hitherto customary weapon troughs significantly shorter Waffenübernahme- and reloading times when loading the torpedo tubes.

A particularly fast fixing and loosening of the weapon in the gun well is possible if, as is preferably provided, to form the positive connection in the longitudinal direction of the weapon engaging in the projection of the weapon holding pawl is mounted, which is mounted on the headband such that it is pivotable transversely to the longitudinal extent of the weapon trough. In this embodiment, the weapon trough invention, the projection of the weapon typically has a transverse to the longitudinal extent of the weapon recess into which the retaining pawl can be pivoted. Conveniently, the retaining pawl is hinged to the side facing away from the gun trough side of the retaining clip, where it can be pivoted to set the weapon in the space enclosed by the headband clearance profile in the direction of the weapon. In order to prevent an unintentional, the weapon releasing movement of the retaining pawl, advantageously locking means may be provided, with which the engaging in the projection of the weapon holding pawl can be locked.

As has already been noted, several weapons may optionally be stored on the weapon trough according to the invention. Typically, in this case, each of the weapons in the gun trough to secure against unwanted movements. Accordingly, at least one of the number of stored weapons corresponding number of brackets to provide the gun trough, the position of the headband on the trough can vary not only in dependence on the number of weapons but also in dependence on the individual weapon lengths. To meet that, are the Long sides of the gun well advantageously formed a plurality of threaded holes on which one or more brackets are screwed. That is, based on the length of the gun trough headband can be attached essentially anywhere on the gun trough.

In order to move the retaining pawl of a weapon form-fitting position in a weapon-releasing position and vice versa, the retaining pawl is preferably coupled with a rotatably mounted actuating rod movement. If a plurality of retaining clips with holding pawls arranged thereon are provided on the weapon trough, then it may be advantageous to couple all retaining pawls to an actuating rod.

To rotate the actuating rod, a handle is preferably formed on the latter at an end remote from the holding pawl. This handle can be, for example, a handwheel, a transverse to the longitudinal extension of the actuating rod aligned actuating lever or similar suitable handling elements. Preferably, the handle is arranged in the region of an end face of the weapon trough. In this front end of the gun trough is expediently the end of the gun trough, which faces away from the torpedo tube when reloading a weapon from the gun trough into a torpedo tube. This is advantageous in that a person to initiate a reload of a weapon in a torpedo tube one or more pawls can solve by pressing the handle, without other, standing directly on the weapon operator, for example, to move the weapon from the gun trough into the Torpedo tube is intended to obstruct.

Because the position of the retaining bracket on the weapon trough relative to their longitudinal extent depending on the number and dimensions of the weapon trough stored weapons can be different, the length of the operating rod is advantageously modifiable. Particularly advantageously, the actuating rod is designed to be telescopic and thus adaptable to different positions of the arranged on the headband retaining pawl. For example, the actuating rod may be formed of two or more tubes, wherein at least a first tube engages in another tube with a correspondingly sized inner diameter. The length of the actuating rod results from how far the or the tubes engage in the larger tube, the tubes can be conveniently connected to each other in a variety of insertion positions, for example by means of locking pins.

In a further preferred embodiment of the weapon trough according to the invention, the retaining pawl has a recess aligned normal to its pivoting plane, through which the actuating rod is guided, wherein an eccentric formed on the actuating rod is arranged in the recess. In this case, the recess expediently extends in a direction parallel to the pivot axis of the retaining pawl through the retaining pawl. When the operating rod is rotated, the eccentric arranged in the recess presses the holding pawl, depending on the direction of rotation, either in a form-fitting manner in the weapon or in a pivoting position releasing the weapon. In addition, it is advantageously possible with correspondingly corresponding dimensions of the recess and eccentric in this embodiment, to lock the retaining latch in the two pivot positions by means of the eccentric form fit.

It is expedient to ensure that the holding pawls or holding pawls provided on the weapon trough do not accidentally come loose during storage of the weapon. In order to prevent such a release, a bracket is advantageous at a front end of the gun trough arranged on which the actuating rod is mounted, wherein on the bracket a rotation lock for the actuating rod is arranged. The serving for the storage of the operating rod bracket is conveniently located in the region of the front end of the gun trough on which the handle of the actuating rod is arranged. Accordingly, the handle and the rotation of the actuating rod are arranged in close proximity to each other and so particularly easy to reach by a person operating the actuating rod.

The rotation lock used in this context preferably has a spring-loaded movably mounted dowel pin which engages in a locking position in a recess formed on the actuating rod recess. Here, the rotation lock is preferably designed and arranged on the bracket that the dowel pin of a compression spring, the z. B. can be supported between the bracket and the dowel pin is pressed into the bearing for the actuating rod and there engages in the recess of the actuating rod, whereby the actuating rod is fixed by the dowel pin form fit. To release the anti-rotation, it is only necessary to pull the dowel pin against the spring force of the compression spring from the recess of the actuating rod.

In order to be able to move the weapons particularly quickly and easily into the weapon trough or out of the weapon trough when the holding pawl is released, the retaining hanger is preferably dimensioned such that it has a clearance to a weapon mounted in the weapon trough. In this context, it is preferably provided that the headband rests in the adjacent to the longitudinal edges of the gun trough lateral areas on a stored in the gun trough weapon and in a trough opposite the gun above the stored weapon to the weapon has a certain distance.

As already mentioned above, the weapon well according to the invention is particularly advantageous for use in submarines. Therefore, the invention advantageously also provides for a submarine in which at least one weapon trough according to the invention is used. Through the use of the weapon trough according to the invention the weapon takeover time and the time to reload the torpedo tubes with respect to a submarine without the weapon trough according to the invention is considerably shorter in this submarine.

The illustrated weapon trough has a trough-shaped support 2 ( Fig. 2 ) for a weapon 4 to be stored on it, wherein it is a torpedo in the illustrated weapon 4. At the two the bearing 2 delimiting the longitudinal edges of the gun well three brackets 6 and a bracket 8 are fixed, which cover the otherwise exposed area of the stored weapon 4.

The headband 6 is formed by two bracket parts 10, one of which is attached to one side edge of the gun trough. To attach the headband 6 and 8, a plurality of threaded holes 11 are formed on the side edges of the gun well in each case in the longitudinal direction of the side edges, where the headband 6 and 8 can be screwed at any point relative to the longitudinal extent of the gun trough.

In an area that is located at stored weapon 4 above the apex area of the stored weapon 4, the bracket parts 10 are connected to each other by means of a connecting part 12, wherein the connecting part 12 is fixed to the side remote from the weapon 4 outer sides of the bracket parts 10. Similarly, the headband 8 has two bracket parts 14. At each of the two, the edition 2 limiting longitudinal edges of the gun trough, one of the bracket members 14 is attached. Also in an area that is located at stored weapon 4 above the apex area of this weapon 4, the bracket members 14 by means of an elongated connecting part 16 which extends in the direction of its longitudinal extent transverse to the longitudinal extent of the gun trough, connected to each other, wherein the connecting part 16th at the remote from the weapon 4 outer sides of the bracket parts 14 is attached.

The retaining clip 8 is arranged on the weapon trough such that its connecting part 16 covers a projection 18 formed on the weapon 4 ( Fig. 2 ). The projection 18 is elongated and extends longitudinally in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the weapon 4. In the drawing, not visible, is formed on the projection 18 of the weapon 4, a groove which extends transversely to the longitudinal extent of the projection 18.

The connecting part 16 of the retaining clip 8 is slotted open in the longitudinal direction on one side. In the slot of the connecting part 16, a holding pawl 20 is pivotally mounted about an axis 22 in the cross-sectional plane of the weapon 4 ( 3 and 4 ). In the support 2 of the gun well, the weapon 4 is arranged so that the retaining pawl 20 can be pivoted from a position above the projection 18 into a position in which it engages in the groove 18 formed on the projection, whereby the weapon 4 of the Holding pawl 20 is fixed in the longitudinal direction of the weapon 4 positively.

For actuating or pivoting the retaining pawl 20, an actuating rod 24 is provided. This actuating rod 24 extends from the connecting part 16 of the retaining clip 8 to a tail 26 of the weapon 4 facing the end of the gun well, being on one of the headband 6, between the headband 8 and the tail 26 of the weapon facing the end of the gun trough is arranged rotatably mounted in a there arranged on the outside guide bushing 28 and arranged at one end of the gun trough bracket 30.

At an end projecting from the bracket 30 end of the actuating rod 24, an actuating lever 32 for rotating the actuating rod 24 is arranged. In addition, the actuating rod 24 has an eccentric 34 at its end remote from the actuating lever 32. This eccentric 34 engages in a recess 36 formed on the retaining pawl 20. The eccentric 34 and the recess 36 are dimensioned and arranged so that the eccentric 34, when the actuating rod 24 in the 3 and 4 is rotated counterclockwise, presses against one of the weapon 4 facing bottom of the recess 36 and presses the retaining pawl 20 in this way in the formed on the projection 18 of the weapon 4 groove, whereby the weapon 4 is fixed in the weapon trough in the longitudinal direction positively ( Fig. 4 ). By rotating the actuating rod 24 in the reverse direction of the eccentric 34 presses against a side facing away from the weapon 4 top of the recess 36, whereby the positive fixing of the weapon 4 is released by the holding pawl 20 ( Fig. 3 ).

The headband 8 with the retaining pawl 20 provided there can be attached to the weapon trough based on their longitudinal extent at different positions. In adaptation to the length of the actuating rod 24 is variable. For this purpose, the actuating rod 24 has a tubular rod member 38, in each of whose two ends a likewise tubular rod member 40 and 42 are inserted. The rod member 38 has at its two end portions in the longitudinal direction of the rod member 38 in a row a plurality of holes 44, wherein the holes 44 are arranged in pairs on two diametrically opposite sides of the rod member 38. Corresponding to this, a plurality of diametrically opposed bores 46 are also formed on the end portions of the rod parts 40 and 42 to be inserted into the rod part 38. The positive fixing of the rod parts 40 and 42 in the rod part 38th via securing pins 48, which are guided through the bores 44 and 46 of the rod parts 38, 40 and 42.

In order to prevent inadvertent rotation of the actuating rod 24, a rotation lock 50 is provided on the bracket 30 ( Fig. 7 ). This rotation lock 50 is arranged on the bracket 30. It has a dowel pin 52 which engages in a securing position in a transverse bore 54 formed on the actuating rod 24. The dowel pin 52 is guided in the rotation lock 50 in a guide member 56. Around the dowel pin 52, a coil spring 58 is disposed. This coil spring 58 is supported in the guide member 56 at a paragraph formed there and on a formed on the dowel pin 52 radially projecting annular extension under pressure. In order to move the dowel pin 52 against the pressure of the coil spring 58 from the formed on the actuating rod 24 recess 54, an actuating head 60 is formed on the dowel pin 52 at the end remote from the actuating rod 24 end.
