Die Bodenplatten sind mit 2 bezeichnet, wobei jede Bodenplatte - von oben nach unten gesehen - aus einer Fußbodenbelagsschicht 3, einer Trägerplatte 4, vorzugsweise aus Schichtholz, und aus einer Vibrations- und Schallisolierung 5 besteht. Die Randbereiche 2a der Bodenplatten 2 liegen auf der Profilschiene auf, die insgesamt mit 6 bezeichnet ist. Die Profilschiene 6 ist aus einem Aluminium-Strangpressformteil geschaffen und im oberen Bereich mit einer T-Nut 7 versehen, an deren Außenseite sich die Auflagen 8 für die Randbereiche 2a der Bodenplatte 2 anschließen. Zur Gewichtseinsparung sind in Längsrichtung im Inneren der Profilschiene 6 längs verlaufende Ausnehmungen 9 vorgesehen, die aber die Stabilität der Profilschiene 6 nicht nachteilig beeinflussen.
