Description
The present invention relates to an overflow assembly for placement at an overflow opening in a pool wall of a basin, comprising a cover frame with a water inlet opening and at least one cover element, through which the water inlet opening of the cover frame is at least partially covered.
A known from the prior art overflow assembly of this type comprises a frame which is provided with punched holes, which serve for locking of locking feet, which are provided on the cover. If these locking feet bend, both the locking of the cover on the frame of the overflow assembly and the removal of the cover from the frame is made more difficult. This makes it difficult to clean the overflow assembly.

The present invention has for its object to provide an overflow assembly of the type mentioned, in which, even after prolonged use, a simple assembly and disassembly of the cover on the cover frame is possible.
This object is achieved by an overflow assembly according to claim 1.
Due to the fact that the element-side holding element arranged on the cover element cooperates with a frame-side holding element protruding toward the cover element in order to releasably hold the cover element to the cover frame, it is ensured that the elements of the overflow assembly that effect the connection of the cover element to the cover frame Arranged inside the pelvis facing the front of the cover and thus are easily accessible both in the positioning of the cover on the cover frame and after removing the cover from the cover frame to make corrections to the support elements, if necessary.
In addition, tolerances in the geometry and / or positioning of the element-side holding element can be compensated by a corresponding adaptation and / or dodging of the frame-side holding element cooperating therewith. In the overflow assembly according to the invention, therefore, the cover can be mounted in a simple manner to the cover frame or disassembled from this, if the element-side support member should be slightly bent.
In particular, a simple removal and fault-tolerant mounting of the cover is made possible.
The inventive solution a simple tool-free assembly and disassembly of the cover is made possible on the cover, which simplifies and improves the cleaning of the cover and the cover.
A comparison with tolerances in the geometry and / or the positioning of the holding elements particularly insensitive retention of the cover on the cover is achieved when at least one frame-side support member is elastically deformable by a cooperating element-side support member.
Alternatively or additionally, it can also be provided that at least one element-side holding element is elastically deformable by a frame-side holding element cooperating therewith.
In a preferred embodiment of the overflow assembly according to the invention it is provided that at least two frame-side holding elements are provided, which are arranged spaced from each other in the mounted state of the overflow assembly in the vertical direction.
If the two frame-side holding elements spaced apart in the vertical direction are arranged at least in regions between two element-side holding elements spaced apart in the vertical direction, this ensures that the covering element is secured against displacement relative to the covering frame in the vertical direction.
Further, it is advantageous if at least two element-side holding elements are provided, which are arranged in the mounted state of the overflow assembly in the horizontal direction spaced from each other.
If the two horizontally spaced elements arranged element-side holding elements are arranged at least partially between two horizontally spaced from each other arranged frame-side holding elements, this ensures that the cover is secured against displacement relative to the cover frame in the horizontal direction.
In a preferred embodiment of the overflow assembly according to the invention it is provided that at least one element-side holding element and / or at least one frame-side holding element comprises a holding element base body and at least one positioning region extending transversely to the holding element base body. By one or more Such, preferably laterally, arranged on a holding element base body positioning regions facilitates the mounting of the cover on the cover frame and achieved in a simple manner accurate positioning, in particular a centering of the cover with respect to the cover frame.
It is particularly favorable if the overflow assembly comprises at least one pair of positioning regions, which are provided on different holding element basic bodies and are arranged spaced apart in the vertical and / or horizontal direction.
Furthermore, it is favorable if the overflow assembly comprises a plurality of positioning regions, by means of which the cover element can be positioned on the cover frame in a desired position, in particular can be centered relative to the cover frame.
At least one positioning region of the overflow assembly can also be formed as a clamping region, which contributes to the fact that in the assembled state of the overflow assembly, an element-side retaining element is releasably fixed to a frame-side retaining element.
A very easy removability of the cover of the cover is achieved in that the cover held on the cover by applying a pressure on an end portion of the cover relative to the cover from a cover position in which the cover at least partially covers a water inlet opening of the cover, in a removal position is pivotable.
In addition to the cover frame and the cover element, the overflow assembly preferably comprises an overflow body, which is arranged on the outer side of the basin in the assembled state of the overflow assembly. By means of such an overflow body, water running over the cover frame from the basin can be passed to a drainage pipe of the basin.
In this case, the overflow assembly preferably comprises at least one attachment means for securing the cover frame to the overflow body, the cover frame having at least one fastener passage through which the fastener extends in the assembled state of the overflow assembly.
In order to be able to easily remove the cover frame, in particular for cleaning purposes, from the basin wall, it is expedient for the cover frame to be detachably fixable to the overflow body by the at least one fastening means.
In order to position the cover frame by means of fasteners in a desired position exactly on the pool wall and on the overflow body, it is advantageous if the cover has at least two fastener passage openings for the passage of a respective fastening means.
In the presence of two fastener passage openings, a symmetrical clamping of the cover frame by means of the fastening means can be achieved in particular that the fastening means are arranged symmetrically to a transverse center plane and / or symmetrically to a longitudinal center plane of the cover off-center on the cover, so that the central region of the water inlet opening The cover must not be covered by a web with a fastener passage opening.
Tolerance compensation during assembly of the cover frame to the overflow body can be achieved particularly effective in that at least one fastener passage opening of the cover is opened by a channel to an outer edge of the cover.
This outer edge of the cover frame can, in particular, overlie the water inlet opening of the cover frame. The edge of the opening through the channel to the outer edge of the cover towards the fastener passage opening may yield slightly during assembly of the cover to the overflow body, which allows the desired tolerance compensation during assembly of the cover to the overflow body.
The basin according to the invention can in principle be used in any desired manner, for example as a basin of a washbasin or as a shower tray or bathtub.
The term "basin" as used in this specification and in the appended claims includes a shower tray or bathtub.
However, the overflow assembly according to the invention is particularly suitable for use on a basin which forms part of a sink.
The cover frame of the overflow assembly according to the invention may be provided with frame-side holding elements in the form of flanged retaining lugs, which serve as spring elements and have a resilient action to produce a clamping of the cover on the cover frame. The upper edge of the retaining lugs formed on the frame-side holding elements can serve at the same time as a spacer for the cover.
This configuration of the cover frame makes it possible to realize a complex geometry for adjusting the cover element behind the area of the cover element visible in the arrangement on the cover frame.
The cover itself can be made very simple.
As an alternative or in addition to spring element designed as frame-side holding elements and the at least one element-side retaining element may be formed as a spring element which generates a clamping of the cover on the cover frame.
Furthermore, clamping of the cover element on the cover frame can also be realized via clamping feet of the cover element designed for centering the cover element on the cover frame.
Securely mounted laterally on the element-side holding elements of the cover member clamping feet can be used to easily mount the cover on the cover frame and at the same time a precise lateral centering of the cover on the cover frame.
The cover member may be formed so that it can be very easily removed from the cover frame by lateral pressing on an end portion of the cover.
The positioning regions on the holding elements of the cover element or optionally on the holding elements of the cover frame can serve for locking for the exact positioning of the cover element on the cover frame.
In the overflow assembly according to the invention, the cover member is easily removed from the cover frame, and the cover member can be easily and accurately positioned relative to the cover frame.
The overflow assembly according to the invention has a pleasing design and allows the placement of a mark or label, for example a manufacturer's logo, on the front visible side of the cover in the installed state of the overflow assembly facing the interior of the basin.
