Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schutzhelm mit einem Gasmessgerät.
- Schutzhelme werden im Bereich der Feuerwehr, der Industrie, bei Rettungskräften oder im Militärbereich eingesetzt. Schutzhelme sind Bestandteil einer persönlichen Schutzausrüstung, die auch einen Schutzanzug, eine Schutzbrille und Zusatzkomponenten wie eine Kommunikationseinrichtung umfassen kann. Zur Befestigung von Zusatzkomponenten sind am Schutzhelm entsprechende Adapter vorhanden, um Funktionszubehör befestigen zu können.
- Die
US 5,659,296 betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Überwachen von Umgebungsluft, die von der äußeren Umgebung entlang eines Durchfluss-Pfades durch eine Atemschutzmasken-Patrone und in eine Gesichtsmaske strömt. Ein Prozessorgehäuse ist lösbar mit dem Durchfluss-Pfadweg gekoppelt. In dem Gehäuse ist ein Sensor vorgesehen, der die Eigenschaft hat, die Konzentration eines Bestandteils der Umgebungsluft in dem Durchfluss-Pfad zu messen. Außerdem ist in dem Gehäuse ein Indikator vorgesehen, der in Reaktion auf ein Konzentrationssignal eine aktive Anzeige zur Verfügung stellt. - Die
US 2006/0125623 A1 beschreibt ein System und ein Verfahren zum Identifizieren, Auswerten und Überwachen gefährlicher Bedingungen. Dieses System kann durch Sicherheitspersonal getragen werden, um Bedingungen des Geräts, wie zum Beispiel eine niedrige Versorgungsspannung, Umgebungsbedingungen, wie zum Beispiel eine Temperatur, und/oder physiologische Bedingungen zu erfassen, wie zum Beispiel die Herzfrequenz eines Trägers. - Die
US 2002/0190866 A1 offenbart ein Beatmungssystem für einen Arbeiter, der in einer Umgebung mit gefährlichen Luftschadstoffen arbeitet, das eine Atemschutzmaske, einen Helm, eine Kamera und einen Gasproben-Analysator aufweist, der zur Analyse von Gasproben geeignet ist. Ein HF-Sender sendet ein Signal an einen entfernten Empfänger. - Aus der
DE 10 2005 024 507 B3 geht ein Schutzhelm mit einem umlaufenden Modulring hervor, der mehrere, in Längsrichtung des Modulringes beabstandete Steckschlitze aufweist. Zu den Steckschlitzen sind komplementäre Steckelemente vorgesehen, mit denen die Funktionskomponenten am Schutzhelm befestigt werden können. Das Funktionszubehör umfasst beispielsweise Visiere, Gehörschutz, Maskenadapter, Lampen, Infrarot- oder Videokameras, Stromquellen, mechanische Hilfsmittel und auch Kommunikationseinrichtungen. - Schutzhelme bestehen üblicherweise aus einer harten Außenschale und einer flexiblen Innenausstattung, die zur Anpassung des Schutzhelms an die unterschiedlichen Kopfformen der Schutzhelmträger dient. Ein Schutzhelm der genannten Art geht beispielhaft aus der
CH 438 755 A - Gasmessgeräte, die in einer Schadgasatmosphäre zur Schutzausrüstung gehören, sind als mobile Geräte mittels einer Halterung an Kleidungsstücken oder an einem Gürtel befestigt. Ein mobiles Gasmessgerät mit einer Halterung geht beispielhaft aus der
DE 198 31 893 C2 hervor. - Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Schutzhelm derart zu verbessern, dass eine Schadgasüberwachung im Sichtbereich des Helmträgers ohne Beeinträchtigung des Tragekomforts ermöglicht ist.
- Die Lösung der Aufgabe erfolgt mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1.
- Eine vorteilhafte Verwendung eines modularen Gasmessgerätes an einem Schutzhelm ist in Patentanspruch 5 angegeben.
- Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen.
- Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, das Gasmessgerät in modulartige Komponenten, wie ein Energieversorgungsmodul, ein Anzeigemodul, ein Alarmgebermodul und ein Sensormodul als miteinander in Wirkverbindung stehende Baugruppen zu unterteilen und dabei das Sensormodul so zu positionieren, dass die Gaskonzentration im Gesichtsbereich des Helmträgers erfasst und ausgewertet wird.
- Der Helmträger wird so frühzeitig gewarnt, wenn der Mund- oder Nasenbereich des Gesichts mit einer Schadgasatmosphäre kontaktiert wird. Das Alarmgebermodul, das sowohl einen akustischen als auch einen Vibrationsalarm umfassen kann, wird bevorzugt in der Nähe der Ohren angebracht, wobei der Vibrationsalarm unmittelbar auf den Kopf übertragen wird. Besonders zweckmäßig ist es dabei, das Alarmgebermodul unmittelbar an der Innenausstattung des Schutzhelms zu befestigen.
- Das Energieversorgungsmodul wird bevorzugt in der Mitte des Schutzhelmes platziert, um eine symmetrische Gewichtsverteilung zu erreichen. Das Energieversorgungsmodul befindet sich entweder unmittelbar an der Außenschale des Schutzhelmes oder es ist an der Innenausstattung angebracht.
- Die optische Anzeige des Anzeigemoduls kann beispielsweise in Form einer LCD-Anzeigefläche in den Schutzhelm oder eine an dem Schutzhelm befestigte Atemschutzmaske integriert sein. Besonders bevorzugt weist das Anzeigemodul eine Projektionseinheit auf, mit der Messwerte oder Alarmmeldungen auf einer vor dem Anwender liegende Projektionsfläche, zum Beispiel eine Wand oder der Fußboden, abgebildet werden. Durch die Projektion werden in Abhängigkeit von der Entfernung der Projektionseinheit zur Projektionsfläche sowohl Messwerte als auch Alarmmeldungen vergrößert dargestellt, so dass sie vom Schutzhelmträger besonders gut wahrgenommen werden können. Als Alternative zu einer Projektionseinheit kann auch ein Laserscanner verwendet werden, der den Messwert auf die vor dem Anwender liegende Projektionsfläche schreibt. Die Projektionsfläche kann auch innerhalb einer am Schutzhelm befestigten Atemschutzmaske liegen. Durch die Projektion des Messwertes oder einer Alarmmeldung auf eine vor dem Helmträger liegende Fläche können auch andere Personen, die sich in der Nähe des Helmträgers aufhalten, die Messwerte verfolgen und eine Alarmmeldung zur Kenntnis nehmen.
- Das Sensormodul wird bevorzugt im Gesichtsbereich des Helmträgers befestigt. Somit wird der Helmträger zuverlässig gewarnt, sobald Schadgase in den Einatembereich gelangen. Das kann beispielsweise vorkommen, wenn der Helmträger mit dem Kopf in einen mit Schadgas beladenen Bereich kommt, beispielsweise wenn er eine Grube oder einen Kanal inspiziert.
- In vorteilhafter Weise ist im Seitenbereich des Schutzhelmes ein Bedienmodul vorgesehen, welches einen Leuchtring und einen innerhalb des Leuchtringes liegenden Betätigungsknopf umfasst. Der Leuchtring ist so ausgebildet, dass er Licht in unterschiedlichen Wellenlängenbereichen emittieren kann. So zeigt zum Beispiel eine hellblaue Farbgebung an, dass das Gasmessgerät betriebsbereit ist. Leuchtet demgegenüber der Leuchtring in roter Farbe, ist das ein Indiz für eine Grenzwertüberschreitung der Gaskonzentration. Mit dem Betätigungsknopf können Alarme oder Statusanzeigen durch den Helmträger bestätigt oder zurückgesetzt werden. Der Leuchtring ist eine zusätzliche Anzeigekomponente, die Außenstehenden zeigt, ob das vom Helmträger mitgeführte Gasmessgerät betriebsbereit ist und ob ein Warnzustand bei der gemessenen Gaskonzentration vorliegt.
- In vorteilhafter Weise ist an der Unterseite des Schutzhelmes ein U-förmig verlaufendes LED-Modul angebracht. Dieses LED-Modul besteht aus einer Vielzahl von Einzel - LEDs, die gleichmäßig verteilt auf der Basisfläche des LED-Moduls angeordnet sind. Das LED-Modul ist eine zusätzliche Anzeigekomponente, mit der ebenfalls Alarm- oder Warnzustände angezeigt werden können.
- Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Figur gezeigt und im Folgenden näher erläutert.

Figur 1 zeigt schematisch den Aufbau eines Gasmessgerätes 1, das aus einem Energieversorgungsmodul 2, enthaltend eine Auswerteschaltung 3 und ein Batteriepaket 4, ein Sensormodul 5, ein Anzeigemodul 6 und ein Alarmgebermodul 7 enthält. Ferner weist das Gasmessgerät 1 ein Bedienmodul 8 mit einem Betätigungsknopf 9 und einem Leuchtring 10 und ein sich hufeisenförmig an der Unterseite eines in derFigur 1 nicht näher dargestellten Schutzhelmes verlaufendes LED-Modul 11 auf. - Das Anzeigemodul 6 enthält eine Projektionseinheit 12, die Mess- und Statusdaten auf eine vor dem Helmträger liegende Projektionsfläche 13 abbildet. Die
- Module 5, 6, 7, 8, 11 sind über Signalleitungen 14 mit der Auswerteschaltung 3 verbunden.

Figur 2 veranschaulicht in perspektivischer Darstellung einen Schutzhelm 15 mit einer Außenschale 16 und einer Innenausstattung 17, wobei an einem seitlich an der Außenschale 15 angebrachten Arm 18 das Sensormodul 5 und das Anzeigemodul 6 mit der Projektionseinheit 12 befestigt sind. An der Seitenfläche des Schutzhelmes 15 ist das Bedienmodul 8 mit dem Betätigungsknopf 9 und dem um den Betätigungsknopf 9 herum angeordneten Leuchtring 10 angebracht. Ebenfalls im Seitenbereich ist das Alarmgebermodul 7 in Form eines akustischen Alarmgebers mit einem Vibrationsalarm angeordnet. An der Unterseite des Schutzhelmes 15 erstreckt sich das U-förmig ausgebildete LED-Modul 11. - Das Energieversorgungsmodul 2 ist an der Innenseite der Außenschale 16 befestigt und befindet sich etwa in der Mitte des Schutzhelmes 15.
- Der Leuchtring 10 ist so ausgebildet, dass Anzeigen in unterschiedlichen Farben möglich sind. Die Farbe rot bedeutet, dass ein Gaskonzentrationsgrenzwert überschritten wurde. Eine entsprechende Warnung wird sowohl über die Projektionseinheit 12 und das LED-Modul 11 und auch das Alarmgebermodul 7 ausgegeben. Der Helmträger wird so auf unterschiedliche Weise gewarnt, dass eine Grenzwertüberschreitung bei der Gaskonzentration vorliegt. Sofern der Leuchtring 10 nicht hinterleuchtet ist, ist das Gasmessgerät 1 nicht betriebsbereit und ausgeschaltet. Ein hellblau leuchtendes Feld zeigt demgegenüber die Betriebsbereitschaft des Gasmessgerätes an. Beim Wechsel der Farbe von hellblau auf grün handelt es sich um einen durch Druck auf den Betätigungsknopf 9 zu bestätigenden Alarm.

Figur 3 zeigt ein Beispiel für eine von der Projektionseinheit 12 ausgegebene Warnmeldung. Die rote Warnmeldung auf der Projektionsfläche 13 zeigt im vorliegenden Fall eine Grenzwertüberschreitung für Kohlenmonoxid an. -

Claims (5)
- Schutzhelm mit einem Gasmessgerät, wobei das Gasmessgerät in modularer Bauweise mindestens- ein Energieversorgungsmodul (2),- ein Anzeigemodul (6),- ein Alarmgebermodul (7) und- ein Sensormodul (5) als miteinander in Wirkverbindung stehende Baugruppen umfasst,- wobei der Schutzhelm (15) aus einer Außenschale (16) und einer Innenausstattung (17) besteht,- wobei die Module (2, 5, 6, 7) an der Innenausstattung (17) oder der Außenschale (16) derart befestigt sind, dass das Sensormodul (5) auf den Mund- oder Nasenbereich des Helmträgers ausgerichtet ist, und- wobei an der Unterseite des Schutzhelmes (15) ein U-förmig verlaufendes LED-Modul (11) vorhanden ist, wobei das LED-Modul (11) zur Anzeige eines Alarm- oder Warnzustandes vorgesehen ist.
- Schutzhelm nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Anzeigemodul (6) eine Projektionseinheit (12) zur Ausgabe von Mess- oder Statusdaten auf einer Projektionsfläche (13) umfasst.
- Schutzhelm nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gasmessgerät (1) ein Bedienmodul (8) mit einem in unterschiedlichen Farben emittierenden Leuchtring (10) zur Anzeige von Status- oder Alarmzuständen enthält.
- Schutzhelm nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Alarmgebermodul (7) einen akustischen Alarmgeber oder einen Vibrationsalarm umfasst.
- Verwendung eines modularen Gasmessgerätes, umfassend ein Energieversorgungsmodul (2), ein Anzeigemodul (6), ein Alarmgeber-Modul (7) und ein Sensormodul (5) an einem Schutzhelm (15) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4.
