Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sealing profile according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention further relates to seal assemblies incorporating these sealing profiles according to the preambles of claims 8, 9, 10th
  • Such sealing arrangements are used in the sealing of the door shaft of a vehicle door, within which a disc can be lowered in its open position. In this position, any penetration of foreign bodies, eg. As to prevent dirt particles or precipitation reliably. The same applies to the closed position in which the sealing arrangement directly cooperates sealingly with the facing surfaces of the disc.
  • Another requirement to be imposed on the seal assembly relates to guiding and holding properties which it is intended to exert on the disk. These properties relate to the vibration behavior of the system disk seal assembly, e.g. resulting post-graduation periods.
  • the disc is known to be subject to oscillating, resulting from the driving of the vehicle and from the closing of the doors resulting stresses, which has to accommodate the storage of the disc, without being encouraged to vibrate itself.
