Abstract

L'invention concerne un joint notamment destiné à étanchéifier une vitre (500) logée de manière coulissante sur une portière de voiture. Ledit joint présente un profilé d'étanchéité (100) réalisé en matériau élastomère et une baguette décorative (200) disposée sur une surface extérieure (101) du profilé d'étanchéité (100). Ladite baguette décorative (200) est pourvue d'au moins une section de fixation (211) permettant de fixer mécaniquement ladite baguette dans la section de maintien (110) du profilé d'étanchéité (100) constituée par une cavité. L'invention vise à permettre une fixation simple et efficace de la baguette décorative (200) au profil d'étanchéité (100). A cet effet, le profilé d'étanchéité (100) présente une cavité (120) interagissant avec la section de maintien (110), ladite cavité pouvant être introduite dans un élément de verrouillage (300). La section de maintien (110) peut être déformée lorsque l'élément de verrouillage (300) est au moins partiellement retiré de manière qu'une partie du matériau du profilé d'étanchéité entourant la section de maintien (110) puisse être déplacée dans la cavité (120) lors de l'introduction de la section de fixation (211) dans la section de maintien (110).
