Abstract
Description
The present invention generally relates to an improved cleaning device and a manufacturing method thereof.
Various cleaning equipment and machines are known for cleaning floors and other surfaces. For manual cleaning in the private and professional sector, for example, various dry, wet and wet wipers have been proposed. Nowadays, in particular with professional cleaning, so-called wide or flat mop devices are predominantly used. These include a handle, a reference holder and a cover often referred to as a mop. The cover may for example be attached to the reference holder by means of tabs attached to it, into which the reference holder is introduced. This can then be moved by a person using the associated stem to perform a cleaning process. Depending on the cover used, dry, damp and / or wet cleaning is possible.
In particular, in a professional cleaning, it is important what time is needed for cleaning a certain area. This is due to the fact that providers of professional cleaning services usually face fierce competition with competitors and only receive orders if they offer their cleaning services sufficiently cheaply. This is usually not possible if too much time is needed to clean a surface to be cleaned.
The amount of time needed to clean a particular area depends, among other things, on the size of an area that can be cleaned with a mop without rinsing or washing it out and / or squeezing it out. The less often the latter is required, the less frequently a cleaning process must be interrupted and the longer one can work in one piece. Therefore, the larger the area that can be cleaned without interim washing and / or squeezing of the mop, the smaller the time required to clean the particular area.
The object of the present invention is to provide an improved cleaning device, which in particular allows cleaning of a larger area without a longer interruption of a cleaning process.
This object can be achieved according to the invention by a cleaning device according to claim 1 and a method for producing a cleaning device according to claim 14.
In a first embodiment of the present invention, a cleaning device comprises a plurality of elements that are connected to one another so that they are movable relative to each other. A first element of the plurality of elements has at least one recess extending at least partially substantially transversely to a first working direction. In a first working position, the first element and a second element of the plurality of elements in the first working direction are arranged successively, and a first working surface of the first element and a first working surface of the second element are in a working position. In a second job position are the first element and the second element are arranged one above the other, and a second working surface of the second element is in the working position.
The cleaning device offers a multiple use possibility. In the first work position, a surface can be cleaned using the first work surface of the first element and the first work surface of the second element. In this case, the at least one recess of the first element allows a collection of dirt. As a result, a larger amount of dirt can be absorbed with the same size of the first working surface of the first element compared to a structure without a recess. The trailing second element allows additional picking up of dirt and / or moisture. Thus, an achievable areal capacity can be increased, i. a size of a cleanable without intermediate washing and / or pressing surface can be increased. In the second working position can be further cleaned using the second working surface of the second element. As a result, a larger area can be cleaned and a good cleaning performance can be achieved compared to known cleaning devices without a longer interruption of a cleaning process. In addition, in the first working position recorded dirt can be kept in the second working position between the now superimposed elements. That's why he can not fall out so easily. Thus, it can be prevented that already recorded dirt is lost again.
In a second aspect of the present invention, the cleaning device is configured to be usable with a standard holder. As a result, no special holding device of a particular manufacturer is required. Thus, on the one hand, a purchase of a special holding device can be avoided. On the other hand, there is no need to buy expensive cleaning devices tailored to such a special holding device, whereby follow-up costs can be reduced.
In a third embodiment of the present invention, the cleaning device is configured such that the second working surface of the second element is movable into the working position by rotation about an axis of rotation extending substantially transversely to the first working direction and the cleaning device is operable in a second direction. The rotation allows for easy folding or folding of the second element. It can be initiated by lifting the cleaning device. Due to the lifting, the second element can initially fold down due to gravity. Subsequently, the cleaning device can be discontinued again on a surface to be cleaned. In this case, the second element can be brought into the second working position and the second working surface of the second element in the working position. A subsequent operation of the cleaning device in the second working direction can ensure that the first element and the second element lie securely on top of each other.
In a fourth embodiment of the present invention, the first element and the second element are sewn together, welded or glued together. Thus, they can be connected in a production of the cleaning device without the use of complex special connection techniques.
