Die Faltenstreifen erstrecken sich von der Unterseite des Deckblattes nach unten und liegen im Gebrauch nicht vollflächig auf der Fußbodenfläche auf. Da die Faltenstreifen quer geschlitzt sind, rutschen auch hier wie bei Wischbezügen mit randseitig umlaufenden Fransen größere Wassermengen zwischen den Streifen hindurch und können zumindest nicht vollständig auf dem Fußboden weitergeschoben werden. Ein zusätzlicher Nachteil besteht darin, daß eine Reinigung nur mit der Unterseite des Deckblattes erfolgen. Schlecht zugängliche Stellen des Fußbodens können nicht oder nur unter größeren Schwierigkeiten gereinigt werden. Die mit der gesamten Unterseite des Deckblattes schwierig zu er¬ reichenden Stellen des Fußbodens können mit dem flexiblen Flächengebilde erreicht und gesäubert werden. Auf dem Fußboden aufgebrachte größere Wassermengen werden weitergeschoben, ohne daß das Wasser unter dem Bezug hinwegrutscht.
