Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Sockels für eine elektrische Lampe.

Sockel für eine elektrische Lampe
Technisches Gebiet
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Sockel für eine elektrische Lampe mit sich nach außen erstreckenden Kontaktstiften zur elektrischen Kontaktierung der Lampe.
Stand der Technik
Bekannt sind Sockel für elektrische Lampen, insbesondere Leuchtstofflampen, welche zwei sich nach außen erstreckende Kontaktstifte aufweisen, welche in eine Lampenfassung eingesteckt werden können und zur Kontaktierung der elektrischen Lampe mit der Lampenfassung dienen.
Diese Kontaktstifte sind aus Messing oder Messinglegierungen ausgebildet. Dieses Material ist relativ teuer.
Darstellung der Erfindung
Es ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, einen kostengünstigen Sockel zu schaffen, wobei insbesondere die Kontaktstifte kostengünstig und aufwandsarm realisierbar sein sollen.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch einen Sockel, welcher die Merkmale nach Patentanspruch 1 aufweist, und ein Verfahren, welches die Merkmale nach Patentanspruch 8 aufweist, gelöst.
Ein erfindungsgemäßer Sockel für eine elektrische Lampe, insbesondere eine Leuchtstofflampe, umfasst sich nach außen erstreckende Kontaktstifte zur elektrischen Kontak- tierung der Lampe, insbesondere mit einer Lampenfassung. Die Kontaktstifte sind zumindest bereichsweise mit einer elektrisch leitfähigen und/oder die Kontaktstifte vor Korrosion schützenden Schicht beschichtet. Durch diese Beschichtung, welche elektrisch leitfähig und/oder Korrosion schützend, bevorzugt elektrisch leitfähig und Korrosion schützend, ausgebildet ist, kann die Materialwahl des Kontaktstifts vielfältig sein. Insbesondere ist es nicht mehr erforderlich, das relativ teure Messing zu verwenden.
Darüber hinaus kann durch diese Beschichtung eine zumindest gleiche Funktionalität im Vergleich zu blanken, unbeschichteten Kontaktstiften aus Messing erreicht werden. Außerdem kann mittels der Beschichtung eine hohe Korrosi- onsbeständigkeit der Kontaktstifte unter ungünstigen klimatischen Bedingungen, wie beispielsweise in salzhaltiger Luft und im Meeresklima erreicht werden.
Darüber hinaus kann durch diese Ausgestaltung ein relativ kostengünstiger Sockel ermöglicht werden.
Bevorzugt ist die Schicht ein Lack, welcher Partikel aus einem elektrisch leitenden Material aufweist. Dies ermöglicht das einfache Aufbringen der Schicht auf die Kontaktstifte und ermöglicht abhängig von der Beimengung der Partikel eine individuelle Einstellung der elektrischen Leitfähigkeit. Darüber hinaus kann durch die spezifische Zusammensetzung des Lacks auch die Korrosionsbeständigkeit individuell eingestellt werden. Der Lack kann beispielsweise auf Basis von PTFE (Polytetrafluorethylen) ausgebildet sein. Bevorzugt umfasst die Schicht Partikel aus Eisen, Aluminium, Kupfer, Silber, Cer, Kohlenstoff, elektrisch leitfähiger Keramik oder eine Partikelmischung aus den genannten Elementen. Es kann somit vorgesehen sein, dass ausschließlich Partikel aus Eisen oder ausschließlich Partikel aus Aluminium oder ausschließlich Partikel aus Kupfer oder ausschließlich Partikel aus Silber oder ausschließlich Partikel aus Cer oder ausschließlich Partikel aus Kohlenstoff oder ausschließlich Partikel aus Keramik in die Schicht, insbesondere den Lack, beigegeben sind. Ebenso kann jedoch auch vorgesehen sein, dass Partikel aus Eisen und/oder Partikel aus Aluminium und/oder Partikel aus Kupfer und/oder Partikel aus Silber und/oder Partikel aus Cer und/oder Partikel aus Kohlenstoff und/oder Partikel aus Keramik beigegeben sind. Es kann vorgesehen sein, dass bei einer Partikelmischung die Mengenanteile der unterschiedlichen Partikel gleich oder aber auch unterschiedlich sind.
Bevorzugt sind die Außenseiten der Kontaktstifte vollflä- chig von der Schicht bedeckt. Insbesondere kann auch vorgesehen sein, dass die Kontaktstifte, welche vorzugsweise hohl ausgebildet sind, an ihrer gesamten Oberfläche und somit sowohl an ihrer Außen- als auch an ihrer Innenseite von der Schicht bedeckt sind.
Vorzugsweise sind die Kontaktstifte aus einem elektrisch leitenden Material, insbesondere aus aluminiumhaltigen Material, insbesondere vollständig aus Aluminium oder einer Aluminiumlegierung, ausgebildet. In Wirkverbindung mit der Schicht, welche insbesondere als Lack mit beige- mengten elektrisch leitenden Partikeln ausgebildet ist, kann durch eine derartige Materialwahl des Kontaktstifts hohen funktionellen Anforderungen des Sockels und insbesondere der Kontaktstifte im Betrieb der elektrischen Lampe Rechnung getragen werden. Darüber hinaus kann dadurch auch eine verschleißarme und abriebsichere Ausges- taltung ermöglicht werden, welche auch sehr kostengünstig realisiert werden kann. Die Kontaktstifte sind insbesondere messingfrei ausgebildet. Insbesondere bei Ausgestaltungen aus zumindest anteilig Aluminium aufweisenden Kontaktstiften, welche mit der Schicht beschichtet sind, können besonders effektive und kostengünstige Materialvariationen ermöglicht werden.
Vorzugsweise kann vorgesehen sein, dass ein die Kontaktstifte aufnehmendes Sockelgehäuse zumindest bereichsweise mit der Schicht beschichtet ist. Dies ermöglicht auch neue Alternativen der Sockelfarbgebung.
Bei einem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Sockels für eine elektrische Lampe werden Kontaktstifte zur elektrischen Kontaktierung der Lampe mit einer Lampenfassung am Sockel ausgebildet. Die Kontaktstifte werden zumindest bereichsweise mit einer elektrisch leitenden und/oder einer die Kontaktstifte vor Korrosion schützenden Schicht beschichtet. Neben einer hoch funktionellen Ausbildung kann dadurch auch eine im Vergleich zu Messingkontaktstiften relativ kostengünstige Ausgestal- tung ermöglicht werden.
Vorzugsweise wird ein Draht, insbesondere ein zumindest anteilig Aluminium aufweisender Draht, mit der Schicht beschichtet und nach dem Beschichten wird der Draht zum Kontaktstift geformt. Dadurch kann auch eine hohe Pro- zessfähigkeit im Fertigungsablauf des Sockels und der elektrischen Lampe ermöglicht werden. Der bereits vorher lackierte Draht wird durch Stauchung in die endgültige Form des Kontaktstifts gebracht. Die Schicht ist dabei insbesondere so konzipiert, dass durch die Verformung des beschichteten Drahts, insbesondere bei einem Tiefziehvorgang, die Festigkeit dieser Schicht ausreicht und diese nicht beschädigt wird.
Bevorzugt wird eine in einen hohlen Kontaktstift eingesteckte Stromzuführung einer Elektrode der Lampe durch Crimpen oder Schweißen mit dem Kontaktstift verbunden. Die Prüfung der inneren Kontaktierung der in den Kontaktstift eingesteckten Stromzuführung kann vorzugsweise in einer NaCl- oder einer S02-Atmosphäre erfolgen. Eine Überprüfung dieser inneren Kontaktierung in einer derar- tigen Atmosphäre zeigt keine Beeinträchtigung der Leitfähigkeit bzw. keinen erhöhten Übergangswiderstand zwischen dem Kontaktstift und der Stromzuführung. Vorzugsweise sind die Materialien des Kontaktstifts und der Stromzuführung so gewählt, dass ein derartig erhöhter Übergangs- widerstand vermieden werden kann. Die Materialauswahl ist anhand der galvanischen Spannungsreihe von Metallen so zu wählen, dass im Hinblick auf einen Übergangswiderstand eine unkritische Paarung ausgewählt wird. Die Stromzuführung kann beispielsweise aus einem kupferplattierten Stahldraht oder aus einem aluminiumhaltigen Draht ausgebildet sein.
Bevorzugt wird die Zusammensetzung der Schicht so ausgebildet, dass die Schicht mechanischen Verformungen wie sie beim Tiefziehen, Stauchen, Crimpen oder Quetschen und dergleichen beim Herstellen des Sockels auftreten können, standhält. Auch bei starken Umformungen kann dann eine Beschädigung oder Zerstörung der Schicht verhindert werden. Insbesondere kann dadurch ermöglicht werden, dass Herstellung und Weiterverarbeitung zeit- und kostenoptimiert erfolgen kann und die Schicht bereits vor der wei- teren mechanischen Umformung der Kontaktstifte aufgebracht werden kann.
Insbesondere bei einer Ausgestaltung des Kontaktpins aus Aluminium oder einem aluminiumhaltigen Material kann eine Verformbarkeit erreicht werden, welche der des Messings ähnlich ist. Dadurch ist eine Umstellung von Produktionsund Fertigungsmaschinen vermeidbar oder allenfalls mit nur einem relativ geringen Aufwand verbunden. Neben einer Crimpung kann insbesondere auch eine Kaltverschweißung der Stromzuführung mit dem Kontaktstift vorgesehen wer- den. Insbesondere kann dabei eine Schweißverbindung an dem äußeren vorderen Ende eines Kontaktstifts vorgesehen sein. Es kann jedoch auch eine Lötung vorgesehen sein.

Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand schematischer Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zei- gen:
Fig. 1 eine schematische Schnittdarstellung durch einen Sockel einer Leuchtstofflampe gemäß einem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel ;
Fig. 2 eine schematische Seitenansicht eines erfindungs- gemäßen Sockels für eine elektrische Lampe gemäß einem zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel; Fig. 3 eine perspektivische Darstellung eines Sockelgehäuses des Sockels gemäß Fig. 2; und
Fig. 4 eine perspektivische Darstellung eines Sockels gemäß der Ausführung in Fig. 2.
Bevorzugte Ausführung der Erfindung
In den Figuren werden gleiche oder funktionsgleiche Elemente mit den gleichen Bezugszeichen versehen.
In Fig. 1 ist in einer Schnittdarstellung ein Teilbereich einer stabförmigen Leuchtstofflampe 1 gezeigt, welche einen rohrförmigen Glaskolben 2 aufweist. An den beiden ge- genüberliegenden Enden des stabförmigen Glaskolben 2 ist jeweils ein Sockel angeordnet, wobei in der Teildarstellung gemäß Fig. 1 lediglich der Sockel 3 gezeigt ist. Im Inneren des Glaskolbens 2 ist eine Elektrode 4 angeordnet, welche mit Elektrodenhalterungen bzw. Stromzuführun- gen 5 und 6 verbunden ist. Die Stromzuführungen 5 und 6 münden in den Sockel 3 und erstrecken sich insbesondere in hohle Kontaktstifte 7 und 8. Die Kontaktstifte 7 und 8 erstrecken sich von einem Sockelgehäuse 9 nach außen und sind zum Einsatz in eine nicht dargestellte Lampenfassung vorgesehen, wodurch die Lampe 1 elektrisch kontaktiert werden kann.
Die Kontaktstifte 7 und 8 sind durch eine Isolierplatte 10 elektrisch voneinander isoliert.
Im Ausführungsbeispiel sind die Kontaktstifte 7 und 8 aus Aluminium ausgebildet und durch eine Schicht 11 sowohl an der Außenseite als auch an der Innenseite insbesondere vollständig beschichtet. Die Schicht 11 ist als elekt- risch leitfähige und die Kontaktstifte 7 und 8 vor Korrosion schützende Beschichtung ausgebildet. Im Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Schicht 11 ein Lack, welcher Partikel aus einem elektrisch leitenden Material aufweist. Die Beimengung kann Partikel aus Eisen und/oder Aluminium und/oder Kupfer und/oder Silber und/oder Cer und/oder Kohlenstoff und/oder Keramik umfassen. Vorzugsweise werden dem Lack aber Kupfer- oder Silberpartikel beigemischt, da diese die beste elektrische Leitfähigkeit ge- währleisten. Aus Kostengründen sind Kupferpartikel besonders bevorzugt.
Die Stromzuführungen 5 und 6 können mit den Kontaktstiften 7 und 8 vercrimpt oder verschweißt sein.
In Fig. 2 ist ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel in einer Seitenansicht gezeigt, bei der eine Leuchtstofflampe 1' wiederum einen stabförmig ausgebildeten Glaskolben 2 um- fasst, an dessen gegenüberliegenden Seiten jeweils ein Sockel angeordnet ist. In Fig. 2 ist in dem gezeigten Teilausschnitt lediglich der Sockel 3' gezeigt. Im Unter- schied zur Ausgestaltung in Fig. 1 ist das Sockelgehäuse 9' abweichend davon ausgebildet. In dieser Ausführung sind Kontaktstifte 7 ' und 8 ' ebenfalls wiederum vollständig mit der Schicht 11 beschichtet. Die Zuführung von nicht dargestellten Stromzuführungen 5 und 6 ist analog der Ausgestaltung in Fig. 1.
In Fig. 3 ist eine perspektivische Darstellung des Sockelgehäuses 9' der Ausführung in Fig. 2 gezeigt. Durch die an der Oberseite ausgebildeten Öffnungen erstrecken sich dann die in Fig. 4 dargestellten Kontaktstifte 7' und 8'. Darüber hinaus ist in Fig. 4 die Isolierplatte 10 gezeigt. Sowohl das Sockelgehäuse 9' als auch die Kontaktstifte 7 ' und 8 ' sind aus einem Aluminium ausgebildet.
Die Kontaktstifte 7 ' und 8 ' werden aus einem Aluminium- draht gefertigt, welcher vor dem eigentlichen Verformen zum Ausbilden der in Fig. 4 gezeigten Kontaktstifte 7' und 8' mit der Schicht 11 beschichtet wird. Dabei wird insbesondere durch eine Stauchung des beschichteten Aluminiumdrahts die endgültige Form der Kontaktstifte 7 ' und 8' erzeugt. Die Verformung erfolgt durch einen Tiefzieh- vorgang, dem die Festigkeit der Schicht 11 standhält. Die Stromzuführungen 5 und 6 sind in der Darstellung gemäß Fig. 4 durch ein Crimpen mit den Kontaktstiften 7' und 8' verbunden .
Entsprechend werden die Kontaktstifte 7 und 8 in Fig. 1 hergestellt .

Claims

Ansprüche
1. Sockel für eine elektrische Lampe (1, 1') mit sich nach außen erstreckenden Kontaktstiften (7, 8; 7', 8') zur elektrischen Kontaktierung der Lampe (1, 1'), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kontaktstifte (7, 8; 7', 8') zumindest bereichsweise mit einer elektrisch leitfähigen und/oder die Kontaktstifte (7, 8; 7', 8') vor Korrosion schützenden Schicht (11) beschichtet sind.
2. Sockel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schicht (11) ein Lack ist, welcher Partikel aus einem elektrisch leitenden Material aufweist.
3. Sockel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schicht (11) Partikel aus Eisen, Aluminium, Kupfer, Silber, Kohlenstoff, elektrisch leitfähiger Keramik oder eine Partikelmischung aus den genannten Elementen umfasst.
4. Sockel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Außenseiten der Kontaktstifte (7, 8; 7', 8') vollflächig von der Schicht (11) bedeckt sind.
5. Sockel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kontaktstifte (7, 8; 7', 8') aus elektrisch lei- tenden Material, insbesondere aus Aluminium oder aus einem aluminiumhaltigen Material ausgebildet sind.
6. Sockel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kontaktstifte (7, 8; 7', 8') hohl sind.
7. Sockel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein die Kontaktstifte (7, 8; 7', 8') aufnehmendes Sockelgehäuse (9, 9') zumindest bereichsweise mit der Schicht (11) beschichtet ist.
8. Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Sockels (3, 3') für eine elektrische Lampe (1, 1'), bei dem Kontaktstifte
(7, 8; 7', 8') zur elektrischen Kontaktierung der Lampe (1, 1') am Sockel (3, 3') ausgebildet werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kontaktstifte (7, 8; 7', 8') zumindest bereichsweise mit einer elektrisch leitenden und/oder einer die Kontaktstifte (7, 8; 7', 8') vor Korrosion schützenden Schicht (11) beschichtet werden.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Draht, insbesondere ein zumindest anteilig Aluminium aufweisender Draht, mit der Schicht (11) beschichtet wird und nach dem Beschichten der Draht zum Kontaktstift (7, 8; 7', 8') geformt wird.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8 oder 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine in einem hohlen Kontaktstift (7, 8; 7', 8') eingesteckte Stromzuführung (5, 6) einer Elektrode (4) der Lampe (1, 1') durch Crimpen oder Schweißen mit dem Kontaktstift (7, 8; 7', 8') verbunden wird.
11. Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zusammensetzung der Schicht (11) so ausgebildet wird, dass sie mechanischen Verformungen wie sie beim Tiefziehen, Stauchen, Crimpen oder Quetschen und dergleichen beim Herstellen des Sockels auftreten können, standhält.
