Abstract

Die Antenne für den Empfang zirkular polarisierter Satellitenfunksignale umfasst wenigstens eine mit einem Antennenausgangsanschluss (28) verbundene, zwei-oder dreidimensionale Antennenleiterstruktur (14). Die mehrdimensionale Antennenleiterstruktur (14) ist so gestaltet, dass sie im Wesentlichen aus einer Vielzahl von Antennenleiterabschnitten besteht, die, bezogen auf einen den Antennenleiterabschnitten gemeinsamen Raumbezugspunkt (z), paarweise symmetrisch und in gleicher Richtung sich erstreckend angeordnet sind. Die mehrdimensionale Antennenleiterstruktur (14) ist ferner so ausgebildet, dass bei reziprokem Betrieb der Antenne als Sendeantenne in den einzelnen Paaren von Antennenleiterabschnitten Antennenströme zumindest näherungsweise in gleicher Größe fließen und das arithmetische Mittel der Stromphasen dieser in den Antenneleiterabschnitten jedes Paars jeweils in gleicher Richtung gezählten Antennenströme bei im Wesentlichen sämtlichen Paaren von Antennenleiterabschnitten bezogen auf einen bei reziprokem Betrieb der Antenne als Sendeantenne gemeinsamen Phasenbezugspunkt (B) zumindest näherungsweise den gleichen Wert hat. Eine solche Antenne empfängt gleichermaßen linksdrehend zirkular polarisierte Wellen als auch rechtsdrehend zirkular polarisierte Wellen. Durch einen in dem Phasenbezugspunkt (B) angeordneten vertikalen, elektrisch kurzen Monopol (7), dessen Empfangssignal dem der Antennenleiterstruktur (14) überlagert wird, kann das Vertikalstrahlungsdiagramm zu niedrigen Elevationswinkeln hin aufgefüllt werden.
