Abstract

Um eine Leuchtanzeige, insbesondere zur Darstellung von Zeichen, Symbolen und/oder Bildern, mit einem Gehäuse, einem Träger und einer Mehrzahl von auf dem Träger angeordneten Leuchtelementen zum Erzeugen sichtbarer elektromagnetischer Strahlung, welches Gehäuse mindestens eine mindestens teilweise offene Anzeigeseite aufweist und welcher Träger im Gehäuse derart angeordnet ist, dass von mindestens einem Teil der Mehrzahl von Leuchtelementen erzeugte Strahlung in einer von der Anzeigeseite weg weisenden Richtung strahlt, so zu verbessern, dass deren Herstellung vereinfacht wird und sie im Freien verwendet werden kann, wird vorgeschlagen, dass mindestens die der mindestens einen Anzeigeseite zugeordneten Leuchtelemente mit einem mindestens teilweise lichtdurchlässigen Abdeckmaterial bedeckt und mittels diesem mit dem Träger derart verbunden sind, dass eine Außenfläche, welche mindestens durch einen Teilbereich einer äußeren Oberfläche der Anzeigevorrichtung definiert ist, durch das Abdeckmaterial definiert wird
Ferner wird ein verbessertes Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Leuchtanzeige vorgeschlagen.
