Abstract
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind biozide Zusammensetzungen in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend a) 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on Formel (I) und/oder ein Salz davon, vorzugsweise sein Alkali- oder Ammoniumsalz, insbesondere Lithium-, Natrium- oder Kaliumsalz, b) 1,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan Formel (II), c) mindestens ein Lösungsmittel der Formel (III) R<SUP>1</SUP> - (O - A)<SUB>(x+y)</SUB> - O - R<SUP>2</SUP> worin R<SUP>1</SUP> und R<SUP>2</SUP> unabhängig voneinander für Wasserstoff oder für eine lineare oder verzweigte, gesättigte oder ungesättigte Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, (O-A) für eine Alkoxygruppe, ausgewählt aus Ethylenoxygruppe (EO), Propylenoxygruppe (PO), Butylenoxygruppe, und/oder Phenylethoxygruppe, x für eine Zahl von 1 bis 15 und y für eine Zahl von 0 bis 10 stehen.

Beschreibung
Biozide Zusammensetzungen
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft biozide Zusammensetzungen in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on, 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan und mindestens ein Lösungsmittel, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der Glykole, Polyglykole bzw. deren Ether, sowie deren Verwendung als Konservierungsmittel.
Biozide kommen in unterschiedlichsten Anwendungsgebieten zum Einsatz, um das Wachstum von Mikroorganismen zu kontrollieren oder zu verhindern, und damit die Konservierung von Produkten und Materialien zu gewährleisten. Wichtige Anwendungsgebiete sind die Konservierung von Acrylfarben oder wasserbasierenden Klebemitteln, oder die Oberflächenbehandlung. Um eine breites Wirkungsspektrum der Konservierungsmittel gegenüber so unterschiedlichen Mikroorganismen, wie Bakterien, Pilzen, Schimmelpilzen und Algen zu erzielen, werden meist Kombinationsprodukte aus mehreren bioziden Wirksubstanzen eingesetzt.
Biozide Mittel aus 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on und 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan finden als antibakterielle und antifungizide Wirkstoffe,_sehr breite, Anwendung, beispielsweise in der Baustoff-, Textil-, Leder-, Papier-, Elektro- und Lebensmittelindustrie, aber auch in der Kosmetik, und Agrarwirtschaft. Ebenso werden die beiden Wirksubstanzen bevorzugt in Farben und Klebemitteln, Wasser-in-ÖI Emulsionen und Schmierstoffen eingesetzt.
In EP-A-98410 wird die synergistische Wirkung von 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on und 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan auf Mikroorganismen beschrieben und ihre Verwendung in unterschiedlichsten Formulierungen beansprucht, sowie vorteilhafte Konzentrationen der beiden Wirkstoffe für unterschiedliche
Anwendungen genannt. Die bioziden Wirksubstanzen können nacheinander oder gemeinsam in fester Form oder als Dispersion in die Formulierung oder Zubereitung eingearbeitet werden.
In JP-A-6 119 704 werden biozide Mittel aus den Wirksubstanzen
1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on (BIT) und 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan in Form von
Dispersionen in XyIoI oder in Form von fließfähigen Pulvern beschrieben.
Dispersionen von bioziden Zusammensetzungen neigen bei
Temperaturschwankungen und längeren Lagerzeiten zu Phasentrennungen oder Verklumpungen und können, ebenso wie Feststoffe, nicht leicht homogen in Formulierungen eingearbeitet werden. Für den Anwender vorteilhaft sind niedrig viskose Lösungen, die pumpbar und sprühbar sind, für den Anwender leicht zu handhaben und ökologisch und toxikologisch gut verträglich sind.
In GB-A-1 191 253 und GB-A-1 330 531 werden Lösungen aus BIT in einem Lösungsmittelgemisch aus Wasser und Aminen offenbart. Amine sind geruchsintensiv, leicht flüchtig und für verschiedene Anwendungen, beispielsweise in der Lebensmittelindustrie ungeeignet.
1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on ist in Wasser schwer löslich. In US-4 188 376 wird beschrieben, dass 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on in einem Propylenglykol- Wassergemisch oder Diethylenglykol-Wassergemisch gelöst werden kann, wobei diese Lösungen lediglich mit einem Wirkstoffgehalt unterhalb 5 Gew.-% stabil sind.
- Höher konzentrierte Lösungen neigen zu Ausfällungen. Für die kommerzielle
Nutzung sind jedoch biozide Mittel mit Wirkstoffkonzentrationen oberhalb 5 % vorteilhaft.
1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan ist in Lösungsmitteln wie Glycerin oder 2-Ethylhexanol schwer löslich, in anderen gängigen Lösungsmitteln wie Dimethylsulfoxid oder N-Methylpyrrolidon gut löslich, jedoch chemisch instabil.
Es bestand daher die Aufgabe, Lösungen von 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on und 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan bereitzustellen, die physikalisch und chemisch stabil sind. Die Lösungen sollen zudem ökologisch und toxikologisch verträglich sein, Siedepunkte oberhalb 1000C haben und insbesondere in wässrige Formulierungen leicht einarbeitbar sein.
Es wurde überraschend gefunden, dass diese Aufgabe durch Verwendung eines Lösungsmittels ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der Glykole, Polyglykole bzw. deren Ether gelöst wird.
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind daher biozide Zusammensetzungen in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend
a) 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on
und/oder ein Salz davon, vorzugsweise sein Alkali- oder Ammoniumsalz, insbesondere Lithium-, Natrium- oder Kaliumsalz,
b) 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan
c) mindestens ein Lösungsmittel der Formel IM
R1 - (O - A)(x+y)- O - R2 (IM) worin
R1 und R2 unabhängig voneinander für Wasserstoff oder für eine lineare oder verzweigte, gesättigte oder ungesättigte Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, (O-A) für eine Alkoxygruppe, ausgewählt aus Ethylenoxygruppe (EO),
Propylenoxygruppe (PO), Butylenoxygruppe, und/oder Phenylethoxygruppe,
x für eine Zahl von 1 bis 15, und y für eine Zahl von 0 bis 10 stehen.
In einer Ausführungsform steht (O - A)(X+y) für eine einheitliche Alkoxygruppe, die (x+y) = 1 bis 25 Alkoxyeinheiten umfasst. In einer weiteren Ausführungsform steht (O - A)(X+y) für eine gemischte Alkoxygruppe der Formel -(O-A1)x-(O-A2)y-, die statistisch oder blockweise angeordnet sein kann, und in der x und y die oben angegebenen Bedeutungen haben. (O-A1) steht dann für eine Ethylenoxyeinheit, und (O-A2) steht dann für eine Propylenoxyeinheit, eine Butylenoxyeinheit, oder für eine Phenylethoxyeinheit. Ist mehr als eine Einheit (O-A2) vorhanden, so kann (O-A2) einheitlich für Propylenoxyeinheiten, Butylenoxyeinheiten, oder für Phenylethoxyeinheiten stehen, oder für Mischungen aus diesen. Unter einer Phenylethoxygruppe wird vorliegend die durch Addition von Phenyloxiran entstehende Struktureinheit verstanden.
R1 und R2 stehen vorzugsweise unabhängig voneinander für Alkylgruppen mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, vorzugsweise für Methyl.
x steht vorzugsweise für eine Zahl von 1 bis 10, insbesondere von 2 bis 8.
y steht-vorzugsweise für eine Zahl-vonJ-bis 5._
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung stehen R1 für Wasserstoff und R2 für eine lineare oder verzweigte Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, x für eine Zahl zwischen 2 und 12 und y für 0.
In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung stehen R1 für Wasserstoff, R2 für n-Butyl, x für eine Zahl von 2 bis 6, bevorzugt 3 bis 6, und y für die Zahl 0.
In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung stehen R1 für Wasserstoff, R2 für Methyl, x für eine Zahl von 2 bis 12, bevorzugt für eine Zahl von 6 bis 8, und y für null.
In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung stehen R1 und R2 für Wasserstoff.
In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung stehen R1 und R2 für Wasserstoff, (O-A) für eine Ethylenoxygruppe (EO), x für eine Zahl von 1 bis 15, bevorzugt 2 bis 12, besonders bevorzugt 3 bis 10 und y für null.
Bevorzugte Lösungsmittel sind Ethylenglykol, Diethylenglykol, Triethylenglykol, Tetraethylenglykol, Pentaethylenglykol, Hexaethylenglykol, Heptaethylenglykol, Octyethylenglykol, Propylenglykol, Dipropylenglykol, Tripropylenglykol, Polypropylenglykol, Ethylenpropylenglykol, Polyethylenpolypropylenglykol, Ethylglykol, Propylglykol, Isopropylglykol, n-Butylglykol, i-Butylglykol, t-Butylglykol, Methyldiglykol, Methyl polyglykol, Ethyldiglykol, Propyldiglykol, Butyldiglykol, Ethyltriglykol, Propyltriglykol, Butyltriglykol, Butylpolyglykol, Propylenglykolmonoethylether, Propylenglykolmono-n-propylether, Propylenglykol- n-butylether, Methyldipropylenglykol, Monoethylenglykoldimethylether (Monoglyme), Diethylenglykoldimethylether (Diglyme), Triethylenglykoldimethylether (Triglyme), Triethylenglykoldiethylether, Tetraethylenglykoldimethylether (Tetraglyme), Propylenglykolphenylether, Polyethylenglykoldibutylether; Polyethylenglykoldiallylether;

Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Lösung, enthaltend 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on gemäß der Formel I und 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan gemäß der Formel II, indem man die beiden bioziden Wirksubstanzen in einem Lösungsmittel der Formel III auflöst.
Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung einer Zusammensetzung in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on gemäß der Formel I, 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan gemäß der Formel Il und mindestens ein Lösungsmittel gemäß der Formel III, als Konservierungsmittel.
Ein bevorzugter Gegenstand der Erfindung sind biozide Zusammensetzungen in
Form von Lösungen, enthaltend 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on gemäß der Formel I bzw. dessen Salz in Mengen größer 1 Gew.-%, bevorzugt im Bereich von 1 ,5 Gew.-% bis 30 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 5 Gew.-% bis 10 Gew.-% und 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan gemäß der Formel Il in Mengen größer 1 Gew.-%, bevorzugt im Bereich von 1 ,5 Gew.-% bis 40 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 2 Gew.-% bis 30 Gew.-%, außerordentlich bevorzugt 3 bis 10 Gew.-%. Alle Prozentangaben sind Gewichtsprozente, jeweils bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Lösung.
Ein weiterer bevorzugter Gegenstand der Erfindung sind biozide
Zusammensetzungen in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3- on gemäß der Formel I bzw. dessen Salz und 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan gemäß der Formel II, wobei die Gewichtsverhältnisse von 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3- on zu 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan im Bereich von 1 zu 10 bis 10 zu 1 , bevorzugt 1 zu 5 bis 5 zu 1 , besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 3 zu 1 bis 1 zu 1 liegen.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen können weitere biozide Wirksubstanzen enthalten, die die Fähigkeit haben, Mikroorganismen, wie Bakterien, Algen oder Pilze, abzutöten.
In Betracht kommen weitere Isothiazoline der Formeln VI a oder VI b,
sowie deren Derivate, die an den Positionen 2, 3, 4 und/oder 5 Substituenten tragen können. Solche Substituenten können beispielsweise lineare, verzweigte oder cyclische Kohlenwasserstoffgruppen, Halogenatome oder Carbonylgruppen sein. Als Kohlenwasserstoffgruppen sind Cr bis Ci2-Alkylgruppen, Phenylgruppen und kondensierte aromatische Systeme bevorzugt.
Weitere bevorzugte Derivate des Isothiazolins sind Isothiazolinone der Formel VII
welche Substituenten wie die oben beschriebenen Isothiazoline tragen können.
Isothiazoline mit biozider Wirksamkeit sind beispielsweise nicht-halogenierte Isothiazoline. Geeignete nicht-halogenierte Isothiazoline sind etwa 2-Methyl-3- isothiazolin, 2-Methyl-4-lsothiazolin-3-on, 2-Ethyl-3-isothiazolin, 2-Propyl-3- isothiazolin, 2-lsopropyl-3-isothiazolin, 2-Butyl-3-isothiazolin (worin Butyl für n-Butyl, iso-Butyl oder tert.-Butyl stehen kann), 2-n-Octyl-3-lsothiazolin.
Weitere Isothiazoline mit biozider Wirksamkeit sind beispielsweise halogenierte Isothiazoline. Geeignete halogenierte Isothiazoline sind etwa 5-Chloro-2-Methyl-3- Isothiazolin, 5-Chloro-2-Methyl-4-lsothiazolin-3-on oder 4,5-Dichloro-2-(n-octyl)-4- isothiazolin-3-on.
Bevorzugte weitere biozide Wirksubstanzen sind

Des Weiteren kommen Biozide aus der Gruppe der quatemären Ammoniumverbindungen in Betracht, bevorzugt Alkyldimethylammoniumchloride, wie beispielsweise Cocosdimethylammoniumchlorid,
Dialkyldimethylammoniumchloride, wie beispielsweise Dicocosdimethyl- ammoniumchlorid, Alkyldimethylbenzyl-ammoniumchloride, wie beispielsweise Ci2/14-Dimethylbenzylammoniumchlorid oder Cocosdimethyldichlorobenzyl- ammoniumchlorid.
Die-Herstellung-der-erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzung in Form einer Lösung kann in unterschiedlicher weise erfolgen. Man kann die Wirksubstanz 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on unter Rühren in einem Lösungsmittel der Formel III lösen und zu einer Lösung, welche 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-dicyanobutan und ein Lösungsmittel der Formel III enthält, zufügen. Ebenso ist es möglich, festes 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on in einer Lösung aus 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-dicyanobutan und einem Lösungsmittel der Formel III zu lösen.
Die Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzung in Form einer Lösung erfolgt bevorzugt in der Weise, dass nach dem Vorlegen des Lösungsmittels das 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on zugegeben und unter Rühren in Lösung gebracht wird. Anschließend gibt man das 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-dicyanobutan hinzu, welches unter Rühren in Lösung gebracht wird. Durch leichte Wärmezufuhr
kann der Lösevorgang beschleunigt werden.
Ein besonders bevorzugter Gegenstand der Erfindung sind biozide Zusammensetzungen in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend 1 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on, 1 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-
Dicyanobutan und Polyethylenglykol mit 7 Glykoleinheiten als Lösungsmittel.
Ein weiterer besonders bevorzugter Gegenstand der Erfindung sind biozide Zusammensetzungen in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend 3 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on, 2 bis 8 Gewichtsprozent 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan und Diethylenglykol als Lösungsmittel.
Ein weiterer besonders bevorzugter Gegenstand der Erfindung sind biozide Zusammensetzungen in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend 1 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on, 1 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-
Dicyanobutan und Butylpolyglykol mit 2 bis 6 Glykoleinheiten als Lösungsmittel. Die erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen können in bevorzugter Ausführungsform neben den Lösungsmitteln der Formel (III) bis zu 60 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise bis 40 Gew.-% weitere Lösemittel enthalten. Solche weiteren Lösemittel aus der Gruppe der

In einer weiteren, besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist das Lösungsmittel für die Biozide a) und b) eine Mischung aus einer Verbindung der Formel Ml mit Glycerin im Gewichtsverhältnis 5:1 bis 1:5. In Formel III stehen dabei vorzugsweise R1 und R2 für Wasserstoff, x für eine Zahl von 4 bis 14, insbesondere für 8, und y für null.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen werden üblicherweise in solchen Gewichtsmengen zur Anwendung gebracht, dass von 0,0001 Gew.-% bis 5 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 0,0002 Gew.-% bis 3 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt von 0,0005 Gew.-% bis 1 Gew.-% der beiden bioziden Wirkstoffe zusammen, bezogen auf das zu behandelnde Substrat oder das behandelte Endprodukt, zur Anwendung kommen.
Die erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen können gegebenenfalls Emulgatorenen oder Dispergiermittel enthalten.
Als Dispergiermittel und Emulgator eignen sich Anlagerungsprodukte von 2 bis 30 Mol Ethylenoxid und/oder bis zu 5 Mol Propylenoxid an lineare Fettalkohole mit 8 bis 22 C-Atomen, an Fettsäuren mit 12 bis 22 C-Atomen und an Alkylphenole mit 8 bis 15 C-Atomen in der Alkylgruppe;
und -diester von Anlagerungsprodukten von 1 bis 30 Mol Ethylenoxid an Glycerin; Glycerinmono- und -diester und Sorbitanmono- und -diester von gesättigten und ungesättigten Fettsäuren mit 6 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen und deren Ethylenoxidanlagerungsprodukten; Anlagerungsprodukte von 15 bis 60 Mol Ethylenoxid an Rizinusöl und/oder gehärtetes Rizinusöl; Polyol- und insbesondere Polyglycerinester wie z.B. Polyglycerinpolyricinoleat und Polyglycerinpoly-12- hydroxystearat. Bevorzugte flüssige Fettsäureester sind PEG-10 Polyglyceryl-2 Laurate und Polyglyceryl-2 Sesquiisostearate.
Des weiteren geeignet sind ethoxylierte und nicht ethoxylierte mono-, di- oder tri- Alkylphosphorsäureester und Alkylarylphosphorsäureester , beispielsweise, Isotridecylphosphorsäureester und deren Salze, Tri-sec-butylphenolphosphor- säureester und deren Salze und Tristyyrylphenylphosphorsäureester und deren Salze.
Auch kationische Emulgatoren wie mono-, di- und tri-Alkylquats und deren polymere Derivate können eingesetzt werden.
Ebenfalls geeignet sind Gemische von Verbindungen aus zwei oder mehreren dieser Substanzklassen. Die Anlagerungsprodukte von Ethylenoxid und/oder Propylenoxid an Fettalkohole, Fettsäuren, Alkylphenole, Glycerin mono- und -diester sowie Sorbitanmono- und -diester von Fettsäuren oder an Rizinusöl stellen bekannte, im Handel erhältliche Produkte dar. Es handelt sich dabei um Homologengemische, deren mittlerer Alkoxilierungsgrad dem Verhältnis der Stoffmengen von Ethylenoxid und/oder Propylenoxid und Substrat, mit denen die Anlagerungsreaktion durchgeführt wird, entspricht.
Die erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen können, 0,1 bis
40 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 1 bis 30 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 3 bis 20 Gew.-% eines oder mehrerer Emulgatoren oder Dispergatoren, bezogen auf die fertigen bioziden Zusammensetzungen enthalten.
Die erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen können zusätzlich
Tenside, Verdickungsmittel, Antigelmittel, Lösungsvermittler, Kälteschutzmittel, Antischaummittel, Puffer, Netzmittel, Komplexbildner, Sequestriermittel, Elektrolyt^, Stellmittel, Duftstoffe und Farbstoffe enthalten.
In einer weiteren Ausführungsform können die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen anionische Tenside enthalten.
Bevorzugte anionische Tenside sind geradkettige und verzweigte Alkylsulfate,
-sulfonate, -carboxylate, -phosphate, -sulphosuccinate und -taurate, Alkylestersulfonate, Arylalkylsulfonate und Alkylethersulfate.
Alkylsulfate sind wasserlösliche Salze oder Säuren der Formel ROSO3M, worin R bevorzugt einen C1o-C24-Kohlenwasserstoffrestl besonders bevorzugt einen Alkyl- oder Hydroxyalkylrest mit 10 bis 20 C-Atomen und insbesondere bevorzugt einen Ci2-Ci8-Alkyl- oder -Hydroxyalkylrest darstellt. M ist Wasserstoff oder ein Kation, vorzugsweise ein Alkalimetallkation (z.B. Natrium, Kalium, Lithium) oder Ammonium oder substituiertes Ammonium, z.B. ein Methyl-, Dimethyl- und Trimethylammoniumkation oder ein quaternäres Ammoniumkation, wie Tetramethylammonium- und Dimethylpiperidiniumkation und quartäre Ammoniumkationen, abgeleitet von Alkylaminen wie Ethylamin, Diethylamin, Triethylamin und deren Mischungen.
Die Alkylethersulfate sind wasserlösliche Salze oder Säuren der Formel RO(A)mSO3M, worin R bevorzugt einen unsubstituierten C10-C24-Alkyl- oder -Hydroxyalkylrest, besonders bevorzugt einen Ci2-C2o-Alkyl- oder -Hydroxyalkylrest und insbesondere bevorzugt einen Ci2-Ci8-Alkyl- oder Hydroxyalkylrest darstellt. A ist eine Ethoxy- oder Propoxyeinheit, m ist eine Zahl von größer als 0, typischerweise zwischen 0,5 und 6, besonders bevorzugt zwischen 0,5 und 3 und M ist ein Wasserstoffatom oder ein Kation, vorzugsweise ein Metallkation (z.B. Natrium, Kalium, Lithium, Calcium, Magnesium), Ammonium oder ein substituiertes Ammoniumkation. Beispiele für substituierte Ammoniumkationen sind Methyl-, Dimethyl-, Trimethylammonium- und quaternäre Ammoniumkationen wie Tetramethylammonium und
Dimethylpiperidiniumkationen, sowie solche, die von Alkylaminen, wie Ethylamin, Diethylamin, Triethylamin oder Mischungen davon, abgeleitet sind. Als Beispiele seien genannt Ci2-Ci8-Alkyl-polyethoxylat-(1 ,0)sulfat, C12-Ci8-Alkyl-polyethoxylat- (2,25)sulfat, Ci2-Ci8-Alkyl-polyethoxylat-(3,0)sulfat, Ci2-Ci8-Alkyl-polyethoxylat- (4,0)sulfat, wobei das Kation Natrium oder Kalium ist.
Ebenso geeignet sind Alkylsulfonate mit geradkettigen oder verzweigten C6-C22- Alkylketten, beispielsweise primäre Paraffinsulfonate, sekundäre Paraffinsulfonate,
Alkylarylsulfonate, beispielsweise lineare Alkylbenzolsulfonate mit C5-C20- Alkylketten, Alkylnaphthalensulfonate, Kondensationsprodukte aus Naphthalensulfonat und Formaldehyd, Lignosulfonat, Alkylestersulfonate, d.h. sulfonierte lineare Ester von C8-C2o-Carboxylsäuren (d.h. Fettsäuren), C8-C24- Olefinsulfonate, sulfonierte Polycarboxylsäuren, hergestellt durch Sulfonierung der Pyrolyseprodukte von Erdalkalimetallcitraten.
Weitere geeignete anionische Tenside sind ausgewählt aus Alkylglycerinsulfaten, Fettacylglycerinsulfaten, Oleylglycerinsulfaten, Alkylphenolethersulfaten, Alkylphosphaten, Alkyletheφhosphaten, Isethionaten wie Acylisethionaten,
N-Acyltauriden, Alkylsuccinamaten, Sulfosuccinaten, insbesondere Di-nonyl- oder Di-octyl-sulphosuccinate, Monoester der Sulfosuccinate (besonders gesättigte und ungesättigte Ci2-C-i8-Monoester) und Diestem der Sulfosuccinate (besonders gesättigte und ungesättigte Ci2-Ciβ-Diester), Acylsarcosinaten, Sulfaten von Alkylpolysacchariden wie Sulfaten von Alkylpolyglycosiden, verzweigten primären Alkylsulfaten und Alkylpolyethoxycarboxylaten wie denen der Formel RO(CH2CH2O)kCH2COO~M+ worin R eine C8-C22-Alkylgruppe, k eine Zahl von 0 bis 10 und M ein lösliches, Salz bildendes Kation ist.
Als nichtionische Tenside kommen vorzugsweise Fettalkoholethoxylate
(Alkylpolyethylenglykole), Alkylphenolpolyethylenglykole,
Alkylmercaptanpolyethylen-glykole, Fettaminethoxylate
(Alkylaminopolyethylenglykole), Fettsäureethoxylate (Acylpolyethylenglykole),
Polypropylenglykolethoxylate (z.B. Pluronics®), Fettsäurealkylolamide (Fettsäureamidpolyethylenglykole), N-Alkyl- und
N-Alkoxypolyhydroxyfettsäureamide, Alkylpolysaccharide, Saccharoseester,
Sorbitester und Polyglykolether in Betracht.
Als amphotere Tenside kommen vorzugsweise Amphoacetate, besonders bevorzugt Monocarboxylate und Dicarboxylate wie Cocoamphocarboxypropionat, Cocoamidocarboxypropionsäure, Cocoamphocarboxyglycinat (oder auch als Cocoamphodiacetat bezeichnet) und Cocoamphoacetat in Betracht.
Als kationische Tenside kommen beispielsweise Di-(C10-C24)-Alkyl- dimethylammoniumchlorid oder -bromid, vorzugsweise Di-(Ci2-C-ι8)-Alkyl- dimethylammoniumchlorid oder -bromid; (Cio-C24)-Alkyl-dimethyl- ethylammoniumchlorid oder -bromid; (Cio-C24)-Alkyl-trimethylammoniumchlorid oder -bromid, vorzugsweise Cetyltrimethylammoniumchlorid oder -bromid und (C2o-C22)-Alkyl-trimethylammoniumchlorid oder -bromid; (C10-C24)-Alkyl- dimethylbenzyl-ammoniumchlorid oder -bromid, vorzugsweise (C-ι2-C-ι8)-Alkyl- dimethylbenzyl-ammoniumchlorid; N-(Cio-Ci8)-Alkyl-pyridiniumchlorid oder -bromid, vorzugsweise N-(Ci2-Ci6)-Alkyl-pyridiniumchlorid oder -bromid; N-(C-io- C^-Alkyl-isochinolinium-chlorid, -bromid oder -monoalkylsulfat; N-(Ci2-C-ι8)-Alkyl- polyoylaminoformylmethyl-pyridiniumchlorid; N-(Ci2-Ci8)-Alkyl-N-methyl- morpholinium-chlorid, -bromid oder -monoalkylsulfat; N-(Ci2-Ci8)-Alkyl-N-ethyl- morpholinium-chlorid, -bromid oder -monoalkylsulfat; (Ci6-Ci8)-Alkyl-pentaoxethyl- ammonium-chlorid; Diisobutyl-phenoxyethoxyethyldimethylbenzylammonium- chlorid; Salze des N,N-Diethylamino-ethylstearylamids und -oleylamids mit Salzsäure, Essigsäure, Milchsäure, Zitronensäure, Phosphorsäure; N-Acyl- aminoethyl-N,N-diethyl-N-methyl-ammoniumchlorid, -bromid oder -monoalkylsulfat und N-Acylaminoethyl-N,N-diethyl-N-benzyl-ammonium-chlorid, -bromid oder -monoalkylsulfat, wobei Acyl vorzugsweise für Stearyl oder Oleyl steht, in Betracht.
Die erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen können 0,1 bis 40 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 1 bis 30 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 3 bis 20 Gew.-% eines oder mehrere Tenside, bezogen auf die fertigen bioziden Zusammensetzungen, enthalten.
Als Verdickungsmittel werden bevorzugt Carboxymethylcellulose und Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan-Gum, Guar-Gummi, Agar-Agar, Alginate und Tylosen, ferner höhermolekulare Polyethylenglykolmono- und diester von Fettsäuren, gehärtetes Rizinusöl, Salze von langkettigen Fettsäuren, beispielsweise Natrium-, Kalium-, Aluminium-, Magnesium- und Titan-Stearate oder die Natrium und/oder Kalium-Salze der Behensäure, aber auch Polyacrylate, Polyvinylalkohol und Polyvinylpyrrolidon, sowie Polysaccharide, eingesetzt.
Ebenso geeignet sind Copolymere auf Basis von Acryloyldimethyltaurinsäure, wie in EP-A-1 060 142, EP-A-1 028 129, EP-A-1 116 733 beschrieben.
Die Verdickungsmittel können in den erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen vorzugsweise in Mengen von 0,01 bis 5 Gew.-% und insbesondere in Mengen von 0,5 bis 2 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die fertigen bioziden Zusammensetzungen, eingesetzt werden.
Geeignete Lösungsvermittler sind Natriumtoluolsulphonat, Natriumcumolsulphonat, Natriumxylolsulphonat, Alkanphosphonsäuren und Alkenyldicarbonsäuren sowie deren Anhydride.
Als Kältestabilisatoren können alle üblichen für diesen Zweck einsetzbaren Stoffe fungieren. Beispielhaft seien Harnstoff, Glycerin und Propylenglykol genannt.
Wasserstoffperoxid kann jedes anorganische Peroxid sein, das in wässriger
Lösung Wasserstoffperoxid freisetzt, wie etwa Natriumperborat (Monohydrat und Tetrahydrat) und Natriumpercarbonat.
Als Entschäumer eignen sich Fettsäurealkylesteralkoxylate; Organopolysiloxane wie Polydimethylsiloxane und deren Gemische mit mikrofeiner, gegebenenfalls signierter Kieselsäure; Paraffine; Wachse und Mikrokristallinwachse und deren
Gemische mit signierter Kieselsäure. Vorteilhaft sind auch Gemische verschiedener Schauminhibitoren, beispielsweise solche aus Silikonöl, Paraffinöl und/oder oder Wachsen.
Als Puffer kommen alle üblichen Säuren und deren Salze in Frage. Vorzugsweise genannt seien Phosphatpuffer, Carbonatpuffer, Zitratpuffer.
Als Netzmittel können Alkoholethoxylate/-propoxylate verwendet werden.
Des weiteren enthalten die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen vorzugsweise Neutralisationsmittel und Stellmittel zum Einstellen der Mittel auf eine Viskosität von 100 bis 2000 mPas, bevorzugt von ca. 600 mPas. Bevorzugte Stellmittel sind anorganische Salze, besonders bevorzugt Ammonium- oder
Metallsalze, insbesondere von Halogeniden, Oxiden, Carbonaten, Hydrogencarbonaten, Phosphaten, Sulfaten und Nitraten, insbesondere Natriumchlorid. Als Neutralisationsmittel bevorzugt sind NaOH und KOH.
Als Elektrolyt können die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen anorganische und organische Salze enthalten. Geeignet sind Alkali-, Erdalkali-, Metall- oder Ammoniumhalogenide, -nitrate, -phosphate, -carbonate, -hydrogencarbonate, -sulfate, -Silikate, acetate, -oxide, -citrate oder -polyphosphate. Bevorzugt eingesetzt werden beispielsweise CaCI2, MgCI2, LiCI, KCl, NaCI, K2SO4, K2CO3, MgSO4, Mg(NOs)2, ZnCI2, ZnO, MgO1ZnSO4, CuSO4, Cu(NO3)2.
Als organische Salze kommen Ammonium- oder Metallsalze, bevorzugt der Glykolsäure, Milchsäure, Zitronensäure, Weinsäure, Mandelsäure, Salicylsäure, Ascorbinsäure, Brenztraubensäure, Fumarsäure, Retinoesäure, Sulfonsäuren, Benzoesäure, Kojisäure, Fruchtsäure, Äpfelsäure, Gluconsäure, Galacturonsäure in Betracht. Als Elektrolyt können die erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzungen auch Mischungen verschiedener Salze enthalten.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Zubereitungen können Elektrolyte in Mengen von 0,01 bis 50 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 0,1 bis 20 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 0,5 bis 10 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die biozide Zusammensetzung enthalten.
Als Sequestriermittel eignen sich beispielsweise Natriumtripolyphosphat (STPP), Ethylendiamintetraessigsäure (EDTA), deren Salze, Nitrilotriessigsäure (NTA), Polyacrylat, Phosphonat, beispielsweise 1-Hydroxyethan-1,1-diphosphonsäure (HEDP), Salze von Polyphosphorsäuren, wie Ethylendiamintetramethylen- phosphonsäure (EDTMP) und Diethylentriaminpentamethylenphosphonsäure (DTPMP), Oxalsäure, -salz, Zitronensäure, Zeolith, Carbonate und Polycarbonate.
Als Komplexbildner kommen Phosphonate, Aminophosphonate und Aminocarboxylate in Betracht.
Die erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen werden bevorzugt zur
Konservierung von Farben, Lacken, Polymeremulsionen, Kühlschmierstoffen, Metallbearbeitungshilfsmitteln, Pflanzenschutzformulierungen, Bauchemikalien, Reinigungsmitteln, Plastik und Klebstoffen eingesetzt.
Die erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen können darüber hinaus unmittelbar oder in Verdünnung als Desinfektionsmittel verwendet werden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen bioziden Zusammensetzungen können darüber hinaus in Beschichtungsmaterialien für Oberflächen eingearbeitet werden. Oberflächen, die mit solchen Beschichtungsmaterialien beschichtet werden, werden dadurch biozid ausgerüstet.
Für alle genannten Anwendungen gelten die bereits genannten Einsatzmengen der bioziden Wirkstoffe.
Die bioziden Zusammensetzungen besitzen bevorzugt einen pH-Wert von 1 bis 13, besonders bevorzugt 3 bis 9, insbesondere 4 bis 8.
Beispiele
Die nachfolgenden Beispiele dienen der näheren Erläuterung der Erfindung. Alle Prozentangaben sind Gewichtsprozente, sofern nicht anders angegeben.
Tabelle 1 : Löslichkeiten von bioziden Wirksubstanzen in verschiedenen Lösemitteln
Zur Ermittlung der Löslichkeiten des/der Wirkstoffs/e werden 50 Gew.-% Wirkstoff/ Wirkstoffmischung und 50 Gew.-Lösungsmittel bei 25°C für 15 Minuten gerührt. Sofern keine Lösung erhalten wird, wird jeweils 5 Gew.-% Lösungsmittel zugegeben und 15 Minuten bei 25°C gerührt, solange, bis eine klare Lösung resultiert.

Der Vergleich der Beispiele 63 und 65 zeigt deutlich, dass die Kombination der Biozide 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on und 1,2-Dibromo-2,4-dicyanobutan in einem Gemisch aus PEG400 und Glycerin besonders stabil ist.

Claims
1. Biozide Zusammensetzungen in Form von Lösungen, enthaltend
a) 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on
und/oder ein Salz davon, vorzugsweise sein Alkali- oder Ammoniumsalz, insbesondere Lithium-, Natrium- oder Kaliumsalz,
b) 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan
c) mindestens ein Lösungsmittel der Forme
R1 - (O - A)(x+y)- O - R2 (III) worin R1 und R2 unabhängig voneinander für Wasserstoff oder für eine lineare oder verzweigte, gesättigte oder ungesättigte Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, (O-A) für eine Alkoxygruppe, ausgewählt aus Ethylenoxygruppe (EO),
Propylenoxygruppe (PO), Butylenoxygruppe, und/oder Phenylethoxygruppe, x für eine Zahl von 1 bis 15, und y für eine Zahl von 0 bis 10 stehen.
2. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1 , enthaltend 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on gemäß der Formel I bzw. dessen Salz in Mengen von 1 Gew.-% bis 30 Gew.-%, und 1,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan gemäß der Formel Il in Mengen von 1 Gew.-% bis 40 Gew.-%, jeweils bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Lösung.
3. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1 und/oder 2, enthaltend
1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on gemäß der Formel I bzw. dessen Salz und 1 ,2-Dibromo- 2,4-Dicyanobutan gemäß der Formel Il im Gewichtsverhältnis von 1 ,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-on zu 1 ,2-Dibromo-2,4-Dicyanobutan im Bereich von 1 zu 10 bis 10 zu 1 liegen.
4. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, worin (O - A)(X+y) für eine einheitliche Alkoxygruppe steht, die (x+y) = 1 bis 25 Alkoxyeinheiten umfasst.
5. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, worin (O - A)(x+y) für eine gemischte Alkoxygruppe der Formel -(O-A1)x-(O-A2)y- steht, die statistisch oder blockweise angeordnet sein kann, und in der x für eine Zahl von 1 bis 15 und y für eine Zahl von 0 bis 10 stehen, und (O-A1) für eine Ethylenoxyeinheit, und (O-A2) für eine Propylenoxyeinheit, eine Butylenoxyeinheit, oder für eine Phenylethoxyeinheit stehen.
6. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, worin R1 für eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen steht.
7. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, worin
R2 für eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen steht.
8. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, worin x für eine Zahl von 1 bis 10 steht.
9. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, worin y für eine Zahl von 1 bis 5 steht.
10. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, worin R1 für Wasserstoff, R2 für eine lineare oder verzweigte Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, x für eine Zahl zwischen 2 und 12 und y für 0 stehen.
11. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, worin R1 für Wasserstoff, R2 für n-Butyl, x für eine Zahl von 2 bis 6, und y für die Zahl 0 stehen.
12. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, worin R1 für Wasserstoff, R2 für Methyl, x für eine Zahl von 2 bis 12, und y für null stehen.
13. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, 8 und 9, worin R1 und R2 für Wasserstoff stehen.
14. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, worin R1 und R2 für Wasserstoff, (O-A) für eine Ethylenoxygruppe (EO), x für eine Zahl von 1 bis 15, bevorzugt 2 bis 12, und y für null stehen.
15. Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, 8, 13, 14, worin das Lösemittel C) im Gewichtsverhältnis von 5:1 bis 1 :5 mit einem mehrwertigen Alkohol der Formel IV
R3(OH)y IV worin R i3 für eine Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe mit 3 bis 40 Kohlenstoffatomen, und y für eine ganze Zahl von 3 bis 40 stehen, und worin jedes in R3 enthaltene Kohlenstoffatom höchstens eine oder keine OH- Gruppe trägt, gemischt ist.
16. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 15, worin der mehrwertige Alkohol Glycerin ist.
17. Verwendung einer Zusammensetzung nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 16 als Konservierungsmittel.
