Abstract

The device has a push button housing (7) inserted into an opening in a cistern lid (2). Push buttons (8, 9) are mounted in the push button housing. A pusher (11) is moved downwards to trigger flushing by actuation of the push buttons. The push button housing is fastened to the cistern lid and is lifted from the push buttons and the pusher with the cistern lid. A guide part (12) has an external thread for fastening the guide part to a drain valve (20). The push buttons, the pusher, the guide part and the push button housing form a single unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a drain fitting.

Zum Anheben des Überlaufrohrs 21 und damit zur Auslösung einer Spülung ist eine Zugstange 34 vorgesehen, die an einem unteren Ende am Überlaufrohr 21 angreift und die über ein gelenkiges Gestänge 35 mit der Betätigungsvorrichtung 6 zusammenarbeitet. Das Gestänge 35 ist mit Drehgelenken 17 mit einem Joch 14 verbunden, das über zwei nach unten ragende Stege 14a mit dem Gehäuse 31 verbunden ist. Das Schwimmerventil 20 kann auch durch ein anderes geeignetes Auslaufventil ersetzt sein. Die Einschraubtiefe des Führungsteils 17 bezüglich des Verbindungsteils 15 ist einstellbar. Am Führungsteil 12 ist eine Feder 10 abgestützt, die gegen die Tasten 8 und 9 gespannt ist. Innerhalb des Verbindungsteils 15 ist ein Drücker 11 angeordnet, der zum Verschwenken eines zweiarmigen Hebels 16 des Gestänges 35 mit den Tasten 8 und 9 nach unten bewegt werden kann. Der Drücker 11 besteht aus einem Stift 40, der aussenseitig ein Gewinde 41 (Fig. 4) aufweist und der in eine Hülse 37 eingeschraubt ist, welche gemäss Figur 6a ein korrespondierendes Gewinde 42 besitzt. Claims (11)

  1. Flushing cistern with a cistern lid, which can be lifted off, a drain fitting (32) comprising a float valve (20) and an actuating device having a push button housing (7), which may be inserted and fastened into an opening (4) in the cistern lid (2), having at least one push button (8, 9) mounted in this push button housing (7) and having a pusher (11), which may be moved downwards to trigger flushing by actuation of the at least one push button (8, 9), wherein the cistern lid (2) and the push button housing may be lifted off the at least one push button (8, 9) and wherein the pusher (11), wherein the push button housing (7), the push button (8, 9) and the pusher (11) form a mounting unit, which further comprises a guide element (12), in which the pusher (11) is guided, characterized in that the mounting unit comprises means for screw-fastening it to a yoke of the drain fitting.
  2. Flushing cistern according to Claim 1, characterized in that the guide element (12) comprises an external thread (28) to fasten it to the drain valve (20).
  3. Flushing cistern according to Claim 2, characterized in that the push button housing (7) is connected for rotation to the guide element (12), such that the actuating device may be screwed onto the drain fitting (32) using the push button housing (7) as mounting aid.
  4. Flushing cistern according to Claim 3, characterized in that the push button housing (7) comprises at its bottom edge at least one recess (25), in which engages a dog (26) of the guide element (12).
  5. Flushing cistern according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the push button housing (7) comprises in a lower region an external thread (24) for a fastening nut (13).
  6. Flushing cistern according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the pusher (11) comprises a pin (40), which is screwed into a sleeve (37), the pin (40) being connected to a push button (8, 9) and the sleeve (37) being movable downwards to trigger flushing.
  7. Flushing cistern according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the drain fitting comprises at least one lever (16) for triggering flushing, which may be swivelled upon actuation by the actuating device (6).
  8. Flushing cistern according to Claim 7, characterized in that it comprises a connecting element (15), which connects the drain valve (20) to the actuating device (6).
  9. Flushing cistern according to Claim 7 or 8, characterized in that it is provided for dual flushing and that the actuating device (6) comprises two push buttons (8, 9).

Method of mounting a flushing cistern according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that, when the cistern lid (2) is set in place, the actuating device (6) is fastened as a mounting unit (29) to the drain valve (20) through the opening (4) in the cistern lid (2), wherein the mounting unit is screwed onto the yoke (14) of the drain valve (20).
