Definitions
- the invention relates to a power tool with the features mentioned in the preamble of claim 1.
- Power tools in particular hand-held power tools, such as e.g. Angle grinders, straight grinders, routers, chain saws, orbital sanders, rotary hammers, drills or eccentric sander cause strong hand-arm vibrations that cause diseases such as. can cause white-finger disease.
- hand-held power tools such as e.g. Angle grinders, straight grinders, routers, chain saws, orbital sanders, rotary hammers, drills or eccentric sander cause strong hand-arm vibrations that cause diseases such as. can cause white-finger disease.
- vibration-damped auxiliary handles which rely on the principle of mass-spring damping, wherein e.g. Rubber damper, absorber or additional masses are used.
- a vibration-damped handle in which the handle is designed as a sleeve in the interior of which a damping mass is mounted to vibrate.
- the absorber mass is made of steel, while for connecting the absorber mass in the cavity of the sleeve holding means are used, which are made of an elastomeric material.
- the device according to the invention with the features mentioned in claim 1 offers the advantage that an increase in the mass moment of inertia is achieved in that the vibration reduction device comprises at least one additional mass. This reduces wobble, especially 3-dimensional wobble of the power tool during use. Furthermore, not only vibrations on a main handle, but also on additional handles are reduced.
- the additional mass is connected by means of a spacer element with the power tool.
- the spacer ensures that can be designed as a handle that the additional mass is arranged at a maximum distance from the power tool, which increases the vibration damping effect of at least one additional mass.
- the vibration reduction device can be rigidly attached to the power tool, i.e., that e.g. No vibration damping elements are used.
- the vibration reduction device is rigid. They are e.g. no damping rubber elements or other damping elements provided in the vibration reduction device. Furthermore, no vibration damping absorber masses are provided.
- the spacer element is designed as a handle.
- an additional handle can be formed.
- a first end is provided with a fastening means for releasable attachment to a power tool and at a second end of the spacer element, the additional mass is arranged.
- the fastening means is a thread, a bayonet lock, a click fastener or a rotary closure.
- the spacer can be separated from the power tool and replaced, while the arrangement of the additional mass at the second end ensures that the additional mass is arranged at a maximum distance from the power tool.
- the additional mass is formed by a battery.
- corresponding contacts at the first end of the spacer element allow a power tool to be supplied with electrical energy.
- the power tool is an angle grinder.
- it may also be a straight grinder, a router, a chainsaw, an orbital sander, a rotary hammer, a drill or an orbital sander.
- the at least one additional mass is arranged on a protective hood of the power tool, in particular an angle grinder. Such an arrangement of the at least one additional mass ensures a maximum distance of the additional mass from the power tool or from a tilt axis of the power tool, since the guard has the farthest from the tilt axis points.
- the at least one additional mass may be attached to the protective hood.
- an additional ring may preferably form an additional mass and the additional ring may be attached or, preferably, additional masses may be applied individually, e.g. by means of screw connections, fastened.
- the at least one additional mass is integrated in the protective hood.
- Such a one-piece design of the additional mass may preferably be formed by a thickened edge, a bent or a flanged sheet edge.
- the invention includes a vibration reduction device, designed for use with a power tool.
- Figure 1 is a plan view of an angle grinder according to the invention with a plurality of vibration reduction devices according to the invention
- Figure 2 is a schematic representation of a vibration reduction device according to the invention.
- an angle grinder 1 is shown as an example of a hand-held power tool.
- the angle grinder 1 has a base body 2, inside which a motor (not shown) for driving a grinding wheel 3 is arranged. Further, a rotatable protective cover 4 is attached to the base body 2, which is the grinding wheel 3 of the angle grinder 1 partially covers, thus increasing the safety during use.
- the angle grinder 1 is provided in the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1 with five vibration reduction devices 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. However, it is possible to use each of the five vibration reduction devices 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 alone or in any combination. According to FIG. 1, four vibration reducing devices 5, 6, 7, 8 are fastened to the protective hood 10, while the fifth vibration reducing device 9 is designed as a handle and fastened to the main body 2 angle grinder 1. However, the vibration reducing device 9 formed as a handle may be disposed at positions other than those shown in FIG.
- vibration reduction device 4, 5, 6, 7 are arranged on the outer radius of the protective cover 10, wherein in the position of the protective hood in Fig. 1, the vibration reduction devices 5, 8 have the largest distance from angle grinder 1 and the base body 2 of the angle grinder 1.
- the vibration reduction device 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 shown in FIG. 2 consists of a spacer element 11 designed as a handle with a substantially sleeve-shaped or cylindrical basic shape.
- a thread 13 is arranged, with which the vibration reduction means 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 on an angle grinder 1 or other power tool such.
- a straight grinder, a router, a chainsaw, an orbital sander or a rotary hammer can be releasably secured.
- an additional mass 15 is arranged.
- the additional mass 15 formed by a battery, wherein corresponding contacts (not shown) at the first end 12 of the spacer 11 allow a supply of a power tool with electrical energy when the vibration reduction device 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 with an angle grinder 1 or another hand-held power tool is connected.
- the thread 13 at the first end 12 of the spacer 11 allows a rigid, i. a substantially vibration-dampening, fixing the device to an angle grinder 1 or other hand-held power tool.
- the vibration reduction device 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 no damping rubber elements.
- the spacer element 11 ensures that the additional mass 15 with a distance corresponding to the length of the spacer element 11 is arranged as far away as possible from an angle grinder 1 or another hand-held power tool when the vibration reduction device 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 with a Angle grinder 1 or another hand-held power tool is connected.
- the arrangement of vibration reduction devices 5, 6, 7, 8 on the protective hood 4 and the arrangement of the fifth vibration reduction device 9 on the main body 2 ensures that the five vibration reduction devices 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 are at a maximum distance from the angle grinder 1 and a tilting axis 11 of the angle grinder 1, which extends through the main body 2 of the angle grinder 1.
