Claims (15)

  1. Verfahren zur Erfassung der Nutzungsarten eines Fahrzeugs (V), insbesondere zur Anwendung im Versicherungsbereich, umfassend die Ortung der Position eines Fahrzeugs (V) mit Hilfe eines Satellitensignalempfängers (5), die Messung der momentanen Beschleunigung des Fahrzeugs (V) in zumindest drei unterschiedliche Richtungen (X, X, Z) sowie das Senden der gesammelten Daten bezüglich der Position und momentanen Beschleunigung des Fahrzeugs (V) an zumindest eine Femerfassungs- und Verarbeitungseinheit (3), gekennzeichnet durch:
    - Verarbeitung der von der Femeinheit (3) gesammelten und empfangenen Daten zur Ermittlung statistischer Daten betreffend der Nutzung des Fahrzeugs (V), umfassend den tatsächlichen Nutzungszeitraum, in welcher Tages- oder Nachtzeit, den Nutzungsbereich sowie das relative Gefahrenpotential in Bezug auf Unfälle oder Diebstahl des Fahrzeugs und/oder eine graphische Darstellung der Veränderung der Momentanbeschleunigung des Fahrzeugs (V),
    - Identifizierung von potentiell gefährlichen Situationen während der Bewegung des Fahrzeugs, und
    - Meldung solcher gefährlicher Situationen an den Nutzer des Fahrzeugs (V).
  2. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es sich bei dem Satellitensignalempfänger (5) um eine Bauart handelt, wie sie auch in Satellitennavigationssystemen wie z.B. dem Global Positioning System (GPS), dem Galileo Positioning System o.ä. verwendet wird.
  3. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 und 2, gekennzeichnet durch die zeitweise Speicherung der gesammelten Daten vor der Sendung.
  4. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, gekennzeichnet durch eine stichprobenartige Positionsmessung des Fahrzeugs (V) in festgelegten Intervallen bezüglich einer zurückgelegten Distanz.
  5. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 4, gekennzeichnet durch eine eindeutige Zuordnung zumindest einer der stichprobenartigen Positionsdaten zu einer Anzeige des jeweiligen Zeitpunktes der Stichprobe.
  6. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zeitweise Speicherung die Erfassung einer Vielzahl der stichprobenartigen Positionsmessungen, die der Messung der jeweiligen Zeitpunkte der Stichproben eindeutig zugeordnet sind, umfasst.
  7. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, gekennzeichnet durch einen Vergleich der erfassten momentanen Beschleunigungsmesswerte mit zumindest einem festgelegten Schwellenwert.
  8. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 3 bis 7,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zeitweise Speicherung die Erfassung zumindest eines Referenzmesswertes einer Momentanbeschleunigung, die im Wesentlichen höher ist als der Schwellenwert, sowie einer Reihe von Momentanbeschleunigungs-Messwerten vor und/oder nach der Referenzmessung umfasst.
  9. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die drei Richtungen (X, Y, Z) zur Messung der Momentanbeschleunigung im Wesentlichen rechtwinklig zueinander angeordnet sind.
  10. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, gekennzeichnet durch die Ermittlung der Momentanbeschleunigung des Fahrzeugs (V) unabhängig von der Anordnung der drei Messrichtungen (X, Y, Z).
  11. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, gekennzeichnet durch eine Verknüpfung der gesammelten Daten mit einem Kennungsprofil des Fahrzeugs (V) und/oder einem Nutzer des Fahrzeugs (V).
  12. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, gekennzeichnet durch die Identifizierung zumindest eines Nutzers des Fahrzeugs (V).
  13. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, gekennzeichnet durch einen Startpunkt für das Senden der gesammelten Daten in festgelegten Intervallen bezüglich der von dem Fahrzeug (V) zurückgelegten Distanz.
  14. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, gekennzeichnet durch die Erfassung der von der Femeinheit (3) gesammelten und empfangenen Daten.
  15. Verfahren gemäß einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, gekennzeichnet durch die Verarbeitung einer Vielzahl der von einzelnen Fahrzeugen (V) gesammelten und von der Femeinheit (3) empfangenen Daten zur Ermittlung der Verkehrsintensität in zumindest einem Straßenabschnitt.
