Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sheet metal soleplate for a vacuum cleaner with a molded on its underside, extending in the transverse direction suction mouth, which is bounded by a front and a rear Saugmundwand, and with obliquely oriented sliding surfaces in front of and behind the suction mouth, wherein in each case the transition region between a Saugmundwand and the associated sliding surface has a suction mouth edge.
  • the sheet-metal sole is made by sheet metal forming.
  • Sheet metal soles for vacuum cleaner nozzles with the features described above are known in practice.
  • the substantially vertically extending side walls are in the known embodiments in a single arc in the associated sliding surface, wherein the arc defines a Saugmundkante.
  • the bending angle of the sheet which corresponds to the outer angle between a Saugmundwand and the associated sliding surface, is in the known embodiments between 120 ° and 150 °.
  • the height level of the suction mouth edge formed by the sheet is determined by the vertex of the sheet.
  • the EP 1 180 340 A2 discloses a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a sliding sole, which has on its underside a transversely extending and bounded by a front and a rear suction mouth wall suction mouth. In front of and behind the suction mouth diagonally aligned sliding surfaces are provided.
  • the document contains no information on the material of the sliding sole and describes the transition region between the suction mouth walls of the suction mouth and the associated sliding surface no closer.
  • Out DE 1 960 386 U is a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a bottom sliding surface is known, which consists of an elastically deformable material and is stretched over Verstell stresses.
  • a rotational adjustment of the adjustment the shape of the nozzle edges, which limit a suction mouth, can be changed.
  • the nozzle lower edges receive a wide flat bearing surface; or there are narrow, arcuately rounded support edges.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a sheet metal sole plate with the features described above, the Saugmundkanten are aligned exactly, and is easy to manufacture.
  • the object is achieved in that the Saugmundor in each case in a first arc, which forms a Saugmundkante, merge into a horizontal plateau and that connects to the plateau, a second arc, which merges into the associated oblique sliding surface.
  • the plateau has a width between 0.5 mm and 4 mm in the longitudinal direction.
  • the invention is based essentially on the idea of dividing the transition region between the suction mouth walls and the respectively associated sliding surfaces into sections, and in this way geometrically decoupling the radius of the suction mouth edge from the course of the sliding surfaces.
  • the transition region according to the invention is divided into two arcs with a horizontal plateau arranged therebetween, the material stress in the shaping is lower than in the production of the known sheet-metal soles. In particular, the risk of cracking and undesirably high material weakening in the bending areas are reduced.
  • the height level of the two Saugmundkanten is contrary to the known from the prior art embodiments not determined by the vertex of an arc, but by the position of the horizontal plateau.
  • the orientation of the surface spanned by the suction mouth edges on the underside of the suction mouth therefore remains even with a radius change of the first sheet, for example due to manufacturing or tool tolerances.
  • the radius of the first arc can be independent of the other geometric Default values are freely varied as long as the first sheet still ends on the originally intended area of the plateau.
  • the radius of the first arc can be increased while reducing the width of the plateau or can be reduced while increasing the width of the plateau, the further geometric default values remaining unchanged.
  • the radius of the first arc is within the scope of the invention preferably between 0.3 mm and 2 mm, more preferably between 0.5 mm and 1 mm.
  • the plateau preferably has a width between 1 mm and 2 mm in the longitudinal direction.
  • the rear and / or the front suction mouth wall runs essentially vertically. At an angle of the sliding surfaces between 30 ° and 60 ° with respect to the horizontal then there is an external angle between the suction mouth walls and the respectively associated sliding surfaces between 120 ° and 150 °, which is divided according to the invention in the first arc and the second arc.
  • the obliquely extending sliding surfaces need not be completely straight in the context of the invention, but can also be seen without restriction over their entire length or sections seen from the bottom of the sheet metal sole slightly curved convex or concave, wherein for determining the angle between the sliding surface and the horizontal an average slope of the sliding surface relative to the horizontal is to be based.
  • a desired width of the plateau of about 1.5 mm is selected according to a preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention for the design of the sheet metal sole.
  • the type and configuration of a vacuum cleaner nozzle, which is equipped with the sheet-metal sole according to the invention, is not limited.
  • the sheet metal sole according to the invention is particularly suitable for vacuum cleaner nozzles, which have no additionally driven cleaning devices, such as a brush roller.
  • the suction power depends largely on the suction air flow in the region of the suction mouth and in particular on the design and orientation of Saugmundkanten. Particularly important is an exact alignment of the two Saugmundkanten when the nozzle rests not exclusively with the Saugmundkanten, but with rollers and / or with sliding surfaces on the floor to be cleaned.
  • Fig. 1 shows a sheet metal sole 1 according to the invention for a vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 with a formed on its underside, running in the transverse direction of the suction mouth 3, and with sliding surfaces 4a, 4b in front of and behind the suction mouth 3.
  • the suction mouth 3 is bounded by a front and a rear suction mouth 5a, 5b , wherein the suction mouth walls 5a, 5b and the respective obliquely aligned slide-on surfaces 4a, 4b are each connected by a transitional region 6a, 6b.
  • the transitional region 6a, 6b is designed in such a way that the suction mouth walls 5a, 5b each transition into a horizontal plateau 8a, 8b in a first arc 7a, 7b, which forms a suction mouth, and that a second arc is applied to the plateau 8a, 8b 9a, 9b connects, which merges into the associated inclined sliding surface 4a, 4b.
  • the front suction mouth wall 5a and the rear suction mouth wall 5b are arranged substantially vertically, wherein in each case the first sheet 7a, 7b between a suction mouth wall 5a, 5b and the associated Plateau 8a, 8b has a radius between 0.3 mm and 2 mm, preferably between 0.5 mm and 1 mm, and forms about a quarter circle.
  • the sliding surfaces 4a, 4b rise with respect to the horizontal H at an angle ⁇ , ⁇ 'between 30 ° and 60 °. Accordingly, the outer angle ⁇ between the front suction mouth wall 5a and the front slide surface 4a and the outer angle ⁇ 'between the rear suction mouth wall 5b and the rear slide surface 4b is between 120 ° and 150 °.
  • the width B of the plateau 8a, 8b in the longitudinal direction is between 0.5 mm and 4 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 2 mm.
  • the sheet metal sole plate 1 is made by deep drawing from a sheet with a sheet thickness between 0.4 mm to 1.5 mm.
  • Fig. 2a shows the transition region 6b from a suction mouth 5b to the associated sliding surface 4b for different bending radii of the first arc 7b. Different bending radii can occur, for example, due to manufacturing and tool tolerances. Furthermore, a variation of the bending radius can be provided in orienting experiments for determining the optimal Saugmundkantengeometrie. Fig. 2a It can be seen that only the width of the plateau 8b changes when the radius of curvature of the arc 7b is modified.
  • a vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 is shown with a sheet metal sole plate 1 according to the invention in a view from below.
  • the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 has rollers 10 on its rear side.
  • the sheet metal sole plate 1 is connected by screws 11 to a housing 12 of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2. Since the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 has no additional driven cleaning devices, the design and arrangement of Saugmundkanten are of particular importance.
  • the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 is supported via sliding projections 13 which are formed in the sheet metal sole plate 1.
  • the transition region 6a, 6b between a suction mouth wall 5a, 5b and the associated sliding surface 4a, 4b typically has a plateau 8a, 8b over the entire width of the sheet metal sole plate 1.
