Abstract
Description
- La présente invention concerne un regard de chaussée, du type définissant un axe central et comprenant
- un cadre délimitant une ouverture et muni d'une collerette interne s'étendant radialement vers l'intérieur,
- un tampon comprenant un voile d'obturation destiné à obturer l'ouverture ainsi qu'une jupe cylindrique centrée sur l'axe central et sensiblement complémentaire de la collerette interne, le voile d'obturation et la jupe définissant un coin concave dirigé radialement vers l'extérieur par rapport à l'axe central, et
- un joint principal disposé sur la collerette interne et interposé entre le tampon et le cadre lorsque le tampon est en position de fermeture, le regard de chaussée comprenant un joint auxiliaire qui est, au moins à l'état fermé du regard, disposé sur la jupe et est en contact avec le coin concave.
- On connaît dans l'état de la technique des regards de chaussée de ce type. Le joint principal est utilisé afin d'insonoriser le regard à l'état fermé, ainsi que pour réduire la quantité d'eau susceptible d'entrer dans l'interstice entre le cadre et le tampon, sans toutefois garantir une étanchéité complète.
- L'invention a pour but d'améliorer l'étanchéité de ce regard de chaussée, et ce avec des moyens simples et économiques.
- A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un regard de chaussée du type indiqué, caractérisé en ce que le joint principal et le joint auxiliaire sont formés par deux pièces distinctes.
- Selon des modes particuliers de réalisation, le regard de chaussée selon l'invention comporte l'une ou plusieurs des caractéristiques suivantes :
- le joint auxiliaire comprend une première partie formant lèvre d'étanchéité ;
- la première partie a une forme de tore ;
- la première partie a une section transversale creuse, notamment en forme d'anneau ;
- le joint auxiliaire comprend une seconde partie solidaire de la première partie et ayant une section transversale non circulaire ;
- la seconde partie prolonge la première partie axialement vers l'intérieur et s'applique sur toute sa longueur axiale sur la jupe ;
- la seconde partie du joint auxiliaire est adaptée pour empêcher le glissement et la torsion du joint auxiliaire sur la jupe ;
- le joint principal et le joint auxiliaire sont fabriqués en matière élastique, de préférence en la même matière élastique ; et
- le joint auxiliaire est adapté pour venir se poser contre le joint principal et la lèvre d'étanchéité lors de la fermeture du tampon sur le cadre.
- L'invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description qui va suivre, donnée uniquement à titre d'exemple et faite en se référant au dessin unique, sur lequel est représentée une partie d'un regard de chaussée selon l'invention.
- La Figure unique montre en coupe un regard de chaussée selon l'invention, désigné par la référence générale 2.
- Le regard de chaussée 2 comprend un cadre 4 et un tampon 10 supporté par le cadre. Le cadre 4 et le tampon 10 définissent un axe central X-X et sont de préférence réalisés en fonte ductile.
- Le cadre 4 délimite une ouverture 6 et comporte une collerette interne 8 servant d'appui au tampon 10.
- Le tampon 10 présente un voile d'obturation 12 sensiblement plan, perpendiculaire à l'axe central X-X et qui obture l'ouverture 6 lorsque le tampon 10 est en position de fermeture sur le cadre, ainsi qu'une jupe cylindrique 14 située sous le voile d'obturation 12 et qui s'étend vers l'intérieur parallèlement à l'axe central X-X.
- La jupe cylindrique 14 est centrée sur l'axe central X-X et s'étend dans l'ouverture délimitée par la collerette interne 8. La jupe 14 est située à distance de la périphérie du voile d'obturation 12, ce dernier délimitant ainsi un rebord périphérique 13 ayant une surface intérieure 15 qui est perpendiculaire à l'axe central X-X et qui se raccorde à la jupe 14. La surface intérieure 15 et la jupe 14 définissent ainsi un coin concave 16 qui est dirigé radialement vers l'extérieur par rapport à l'axe central X-X.
- Le regard de chaussée 2 est en outre muni d'un joint principal 18, fabriqué en une matière élastique, telle que de l'élastomère par exemple. Le joint principal 18 est disposé sur la collerette interne 8 et situé entre le tampon 10 et le cadre 4 à l'état fermé du regard 2. Plus précisément, le joint principal 18 a une section radiale en forme de C, entourant la collerette interne 8. En position de fermeture, la surface inférieure 15 du rebord 13 du tampon repose sur le joint principal 18, empêchant ainsi les bruits de claquement du tampon sur le cadre lors du passage de véhicules. En plus de cette fonction d'insonorisation, le joint principal 18 assure également une étanchéité primaire par rapport aux eaux de ruissellement susceptibles de s'introduire dans l'interstice entre le tampon et le cadre.
- Le regard de chaussée 2 comprend également un joint auxiliaire 20 destiné à parfaire l'étanchéité aux eaux de ruissellement. Ce joint auxiliaire 20 est disposé sur la jupe 14 et est en contact avec le coin concave 16. Le joint auxiliaire 20 est fabriqué d'un seul tenant et en une matière élastique, par exemple en matière élastomère. De préférence, les deux joints 18 et 20 sont fabriqués en la même matière. Le joint auxiliaire 20 comprend une première partie formant lèvre d'étanchéité 22, ainsi qu'une seconde partie 24 solidaire de la première partie 22.
- La première partie 22 a une forme générale de tore et a une section transversale radiale creuse en forme d'anneau qui facilite sa déformation.
- La seconde partie 24 prolonge la première partie 22 axialement vers l'intérieur et a une section transversale radiale non circulaire, en l'occurrence une section transversale sensiblement rectangulaire. Ainsi, la section transversale radiale du joint auxiliaire 20 a sensiblement une forme de P.
- Il est à noter que la seconde partie 24 s'applique sur toute sa longueur axiale sur la jupe 14 et sert essentiellement à empêcher le glissement et la torsion du joint auxiliaire 20 sur la jupe 14. De plus, la longueur axiale de la seconde partie 24 est supérieure à la longueur axiale de la première partie 22.
- Lors de la fermeture du tampon 10 sur le cadre 4, le joint auxiliaire 20 vient se poser contre le joint principal 18 et au moins la lèvre d'étanchéité 22 est élastiquement comprimée. Ainsi ce joint auxiliaire 20 augmente d'une manière sensible l'étanchéité du regard de chaussée 2.
- Le joint auxiliaire 20 selon l'invention peut facilement être installé sur des regards de chaussée existants.
Claims (9)
- Regard de chaussée, du type définissant un axe central (X-X) et comprenant- un cadre (4) délimitant une ouverture (6) et muni d'une collerette interne (8) s'étendant radialement vers l'intérieur,- un tampon (10) comprenant un voile d'obturation (12) destiné à obturer l'ouverture (6) ainsi qu'une jupe cylindrique (14) centrée sur l'axe central (X-X) et sensiblement complémentaire de la collerette interne (8), le voile d'obturation (12) et la jupe définissant un coin concave (16) dirigé radialement vers l'extérieur par rapport à l'axe central (X-X), et- un joint principal (18) disposé sur la collerette interne (8) et interposé entre le tampon (10) et le cadre (4) lorsque le tampon est en position de fermeture,caractérisé en ce que le joint principal (18) et le joint auxiliaire (20) sont formés par deux pièces distinctes.
le regard de chaussée (2) comprenant un joint auxiliaire (20) qui est, au moins à l'état fermé du regard, disposé sur la jupe (14) et est en contact avec le coin concave (16), - Regard selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le joint auxiliaire (20) comprend une première partie (22) formant lèvre d'étanchéité.
- Regard selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la première partie (22) a une forme de tore.
- Regard selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que la première partie a une section transversale creuse, notamment en forme d'anneau.
- Regard selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 4, caractérisé en ce que le joint auxiliaire comprend une seconde partie (24) solidaire de la première partie (22) et ayant une section transversale non circulaire.
- Regard selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la seconde partie (24) prolonge la première partie (22) axialement vers l'intérieur et s'applique sur toute sa longueur axiale sur la jupe (14).
- Regard selon la revendication 5 ou 6, caractérisé en ce que la seconde partie (24) du joint auxiliaire est adaptée pour empêcher le glissement et la torsion du joint auxiliaire sur la jupe.
- Regard selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le joint principal (18) et le joint auxiliaire (20) sont fabriqués en matière élastique, de préférence en la même matière élastique.
- Regard selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que le joint auxiliaire (20) est adapté pour venir se poser contre le joint principal (18) et la lèvre d'étanchéité (22) lors de la fermeture du tampon (10) sur le cadre.
