Definitions

  • the invention relates to a safety gear and a method for holding a registered weft thread in a rapier according to the preamble of claim 1 and 6 and a rapier with such a safety gear or equipped for carrying out such a method.
  • the weft thread is introduced into a shed by means of a gripper gripper fastened to a gripper bar or a flexible belt and taken over by a gripper gripper at a transfer point in the middle part of the shed and transported onward.
  • the Bringergreifer has the task to pick up the presented weft safely, enter the same in the shed and precisely feed the gripper rapier.
  • the gripper rapier has the task of forwarding the weft thread until it has reached a release position outside the shed.
  • Each of the grippers includes a rapier head with a thread clamp to clamp the weft during weft insertion.
  • rapier looms In the release position outside the shed the thread clamp of the gripper rapier is opened and the clamped therein end of the thread released. So that the weft thread remains stretched, rapier looms usually provide a catch strip which is closed immediately after the weft insertion and before the shed, and a suction nozzle or a suction channel, which receives the thread end and holds.
  • JP 09-059848 A discloses a suction device for rapier looms, which surrounds the weft thread on the arrival side between the release point and the shed on three or four sides and in which a suction is formed, which is connected to a suction. This makes it possible to suck the released thread end from several directions and hold in the suction.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a safety gear and a method for holding a registered weft yarn in a rapier and a rapier with such a safety gear or equipped to carry out such a method by which even coarse weft yarns can be kept safe after the entry ,
  • the inventive catching device for holding a registered weft thread in a rapier with at least one gripper, which is movable along a gripper track comprises a stationary mounted on the rapier holding channel to receive a yarn end of the inserted weft yarn and hold.
  • the safety device comprises a stationarily mounted on the rapier loom Ablenkdüse, for example, a Ablenkdüse with clocked Blasstrom to deflect the thread end of the registered weft thread to the holding channel.
  • the retaining channel is designed for the connection of a suction line.
  • the retaining channel and the deflection nozzle can be mounted in the region of the gripper track, for example on opposite sides of the gripper track.
  • the retaining channel and the deflecting nozzle are designed and / or the catching device is provided with fastening elements such that the retaining channel and the deflecting nozzle can be mounted in the region of the rapier track.
  • the deflection nozzle can be mounted such that the blowing flow of the same is directed transversely to the gripper track.
  • the deflection nozzle and the retaining channel can be mounted so that the blowing flow of the deflection nozzle is partially or completely absorbed by the retaining channel.
  • the registered weft thread is released by the gripper and a yarn end of the inserted weft thread from a stationary on the rapier arranged holding channel and held.
  • the thread end of the inserted weft thread is deflected by means of a deflection nozzle, which is arranged stationarily on the rapier weaving machine, towards the holding channel.
  • the thread end of the inserted weft thread is held in the holding channel by means of a blowing and / or suction flow.
  • a blowing stream is generated transversely to the gripper track by means of the deflection nozzle.
  • the thread end of the inserted weft thread is blown by means of a blowing flow of the deflection nozzle into the holding channel and / or held therein.
  • the invention comprises a looper with a safety gear according to one of the embodiments described above or equipped for carrying out a method according to one of the embodiments described above.
  • the safety gear, the method and rapier weaving machine according to the present invention have the advantage that even with coarser weft yarns the thread ends can no longer get behind the reed. This makes it possible to achieve a better fabric quality, especially with coarser weft yarns, than is possible on rapier weaving machines with conventional safety devices. In addition, the disturbance-related downtime of the rapier can be reduced compared to rapier with conventional safety gear and the failure.
  • the manufacturing costs and the energy and maintenance costs compared to conventional safety gear for rapier weaving machines can be reduced, since the suction fan and provided between holding channel and suction fan filter unit can be reduced or omitted altogether, and because the generation of a directional blow stream requires less energy than the generation of a wide suction flow in the area of the hook path. At the same time the maintenance of the filter unit can be reduced or avoided altogether.
  • the Figures 1 and 2 show an embodiment of a safety gear according to the present invention in a rapier loom from above or in an oblique view.
  • the rapier weaving machine comprises at least one gripper 6, which, for example, as in Fig. 1 shown, may be designed as a gripper rapier.
  • the in Fig. 1 shown gripper is along a gripper track 6a in the direction 6a 'back and forth to enter a weft thread 9 in a shed, which is formed from warp threads 10, 10.1, 10.2.
  • a gripper guide 2 may be provided.
  • the gripper can, as in Fig. 1 shown to be provided with a thread clamp to clamp the weft during weft insertion.
  • the safety gear 1 shown comprises a retaining channel 5, which is arranged stationarily on the rapier loom and can be fastened, for example by means of a fastening element 7.2 on the gripper guide 2 to receive the thread end of the registered weft thread 9 and hold.
  • the catching device shown comprises a catching nozzle 3, which is arranged stationarily on the rapier weaving machine and can be fastened to the hook guide 2, for example by means of fastening elements 7.1, 7.1 ', 7.1 "Advantageously, the catching nozzle 3 is connected to a line 3a to supply a blowing fluid By means of the deflection nozzle 3, a blowing stream 4 can be generated in order to deflect the thread end of the inserted weft thread toward the holding channel 5. If necessary, the blowing stream can be clocked.
  • a blowing stream 4 can be generated transversely to the hook path 6a by means of the deflection nozzle 3.
  • the yarn end of the inserted weft yarn is blown by means of the Ablenkdüse 3 in an opening 5a of the holding channel 5, for example by the Ablenkdüse and the holding channel are mounted so that the blowing of the Ablenkdüse is directed to the holding channel and / or partially or completely from Holding channel can be added.
  • the retaining channel 5 is designed for the connection of a suction line, so that the thread end of the inserted weft thread can be conveyed by means of a blowing and / or suction flow in the opening 5a of the holding channel 5.
  • the inserted weft thread can then be held in the holding channel 5 by means of the blowing and / or suction flow.
  • the rapier can, as in the Figures 1 and 2 shown to be equipped with a Riet 8 to strike the registered weft thread 9 to a stop edge 12.
  • the thread end of the inserted weft thread 9 is thereby, as described above, deflected by the blowing stream 4 of the Ablenkdüse 3 to the holding channel 5, so that the thread end can not reach behind the same during the stop movement of Riets. Thanks to this measure, tissue disorders that can occur due to thread ends woven behind the reed are avoided.
  • the thread ends of the previously inserted weft threads 9 ', 9 ", 9'" remain in the holding channel 5 until they are pulled out of the holding channel by the advancement of the fabric 11 produced by the weaving process. The thread ends pulled out of the holding channel are at this time far enough away from the reed 8 that there is no longer any danger that they will be woven.
  • the rapier weaving machine comprises at least one gripper 6, which is moved along a gripper track 6a for the insertion of the weft thread.
  • the gripper Of the Registered weft thread 9 is then released by the gripper and received the thread end of the inserted weft thread from a stationary arranged on the rapier holding channel 5 and held.
  • the yarn end of the inserted weft yarn is deflected by means of a Ablenkdüse 3, which is stationary on the rapier loom, towards the holding channel 5 out.
  • a blowing stream 4 is generated transversely to the hook path 6a by means of the deflection nozzle 3.
  • the thread end of the inserted weft thread 9 is blown into the holding channel 5 by means of the blowing stream 4 of the deflection nozzle 3.
  • the thread end of the inserted weft thread 9 is held in the holding channel 5 by means of a blowing and / or suction flow.
  • the invention comprises a rapier loom with a safety gear according to one of the embodiments described above and / or equipped to carry out a method as described above.
  • the safety gear and the method according to the above description are suitable for holding fine and coarse weft yarns in rapier weaving machines.
