Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a composite frame for insertion into a building opening, in particular window and door openings.
  • the present invention relates to a window or door frame, which is composed of composite materials in composite technology.
  • Window and door frames are traditionally made of wood, metal or plastic.
  • window frames made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) have been used, also composite window frames made of wood and aluminum are known.
  • insulating glasses in a frame made of wood, plastic or aluminum are clogged.
  • the window opening wings are stiffened by the blocking of the discs in the frame.
  • the resulting forces in the frame are forwarded via the frame corners and determine the dimensioning of the frame.
  • wood-aluminum composite frames the wooden frames are protected from the weather by an external aluminum frame, whereby the high thermal conductivity of aluminum leads to undesirable thermal bridges in the frame cross-section.
  • the EP 1 106 770 A1 describes a carrier, which is glued to a central portion on an inner side of a disc and is in a form-fitting manner with a leg and by its inherent elasticity on a frame part in engagement.
  • the composite frame according to the invention has a (in the installed state) fixed first frame portion. At this first frame portion, a second, openable frame portion is articulated.
  • the openable second frame section includes an inner (i.e., in-installed state inside the building) sash profile.
  • an inner sash profile At one (again related to the installed state) outwardly facing side (weather or weather side) of the inner sash profile is a fixedly connected to the sash profile adapter profile is provided, which serves for fixed receiving a window provided therefor.
  • the first, fixed frame portion has a (in the closed state) around the inner sash profile of the openable second frame portion substantially encircling inner frame profile.
  • a fixedly connected to the peripheral inner frame profile outer visible part is provided.
  • the fixed first frame section is referred to as a frame and the openable second frame section is referred to as a sash frame.
  • the openable second frame section is referred to as a sash frame.
  • the disc and the adapter profile are connected substantially circumferentially with each other so that the adapter profile with the disc forms a self-supporting, rigid unit.
  • This fixed connection can be realized for example by gluing the disc with the adapter profile or other suitable connection technology.
  • the firm connection of the adapter profile with the inner casement profile and the firm connection of the outer viewing part with the inner window frame profile for example, also by gluing and / or by screwing done.
  • other suitable forms of attachment are possible.
  • the cross section of the adapter profile comprises a central portion for connecting the adapter profile with the disc and at least one first leg for connecting the adapter profile with the sash.
  • the first leg can be arranged, for example, at a first end of the middle section.
  • the first leg may be arranged on the central portion such that a substantially L-shaped or a T-shaped cross-section of the adapter profile results.
  • a disc blocked in a conventional manner requires a peripheral frame which provides a stiffening and supportive function and must be dimensioned accordingly.
  • a rigid self-supporting unit is already provided by the firmly connected unit of adapter profile and disc, which can be firmly connected to the casement profile.
  • the dimensioning of the casement profile is determined substantially less by a stiffening function than by the inclusion of the usual fittings for a window hardware. This has the consequence that the reduction of the dimensions of the sash profile is limited by the fittings used.
  • the inner frame profile also provides for a receptacle of fittings and is therefore also determined essentially by this function in its dimensions.
  • the building interior side view surface of the sash profile and the frame profile can be reduced become.
  • the building interior side view surface is the surface of the composite frame, which delimits the composite frame in the room-side direction and offers a view placed in the building as a view.
  • the two frame profiles can consequently be designed significantly slimmer than in comparable conventional window frames and therefore allow for a given building opening a larger window area, since the frame portion of the window is reduced.
  • a comparatively thin adhesive layer is applied in the fixed connection of the disc with the adapter profile, which reduces both the necessary space and is hardly perceived due to the small thickness in visible areas and therefore the aesthetic sensibility of a viewer not impaired.
  • the rigid unit made of the disk and adapter profile made possible by the rigid connection allows immobile positioning of the disk in the composite frame.
  • the disc can be moved in a position relative to the window frame in a conventional window frame with a blocked disc in position.
  • the frame profile and the sash profile fulfill, as shown above, essentially the function of receiving the usual fittings for a window or to connect the unit of disc and adapter profile with the fittings. Furthermore, both profiles form the building inside viewing surface of the composite frame and therefore must meet especially high aesthetic requirements.
  • the frame profile and the sash profile for example, from a group consisting of wood, plastic, such as PVC, fiber reinforced plastic, such as glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) or carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), mineral materials or wood composite, such as Fibrex TM from Anderson, to be selected. Also surface coatings of these materials on a frame profile made of a suitable material are conceivable.
  • a uniform building inside appearance can be provided.
  • the choice of materials is not limited to the choice of the same material for the frame profile and the sash profile, but it can also be different materials for the respective profiles are selected., however, which may not be consistent appearance of the inner surface or viewing surface can be achieved ,
  • both the frame profile and the sash profile are made of wood and thus provided a slender frame with room-side uniform viewing surfaces.
  • the outer visible part essentially completely separates the composite frame from the building exterior side.
  • the outer visible part is connected to the inner frame profile and has a building exterior surface, which is preferably accessible as the sole surface of the composite frame of the weather or this exposed.
  • the outer visible part extends over the adapter profile and adjoins the disc.
  • the design of a solid, non-openable composite frame (a so-called fixed field) is conceivable. Since the composite frame is completely covered by the outer visible part and is designed to be very slim, the openable composite frame and the fixed field have a comparable frame thickness, or can be made with the same or essentially the same frame thickness, without the composite frame of the fixed field becoming wider or narrower ., Has to be made substantially wider, as is the case in contrast to conventional window frames. In this way, there is no visible difference between an openable composite frame and a fixed field from the outside of the building. In particular, in building facades that have both openable windows as well as fixed fields, in this way a uniform building exterior appearance of the individual windows and possibly a uniform appearance of glass or window facades can be made possible.
  • a circumferential first seal for example a seal with a sealing lip, may be arranged on the outer visible part on a rim of the outer visible part which is close to the pane.
  • the first Seal can be arranged between the outer visible part and the disc such that in the closed state of the composite frame, the first seal or possibly the sealing lip structurally acts on the disc and / or the adapter profile.
  • the first seal thus establishes a sealing connection between the pane and the outer visible part or between the adapter profile and the pane and in this way seals the outer visible part with respect to the pane or with respect to the adapter profile.
  • a groove can be provided on it, into which the seal is suitably inserted or fastened.
  • a groove may be provided on the section of the outer visible part which is closest to the pane, the opening of which points essentially in the direction of the building interior.
  • a first seal can be fastened with a sealing lip, which structurally acts on the pane in the closed state of the composite frame.
  • other common devices for mounting a seal on the outer visible part are conceivable.
  • the outer visible part may be made substantially of a material consisting of a group consisting of plastics such as PVC, fiber reinforced plastics, for example glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), mineral materials, wood composite such as Fibrex TM from Anderson, or a metal or a metal alloy, in particular aluminum or aluminum alloys is selected.
  • plastics such as PVC, fiber reinforced plastics, for example glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), mineral materials, wood composite such as Fibrex TM from Anderson, or a metal or a metal alloy, in particular aluminum or aluminum alloys is selected.
  • GRP glass fiber reinforced plastic
  • CFRP carbon fiber reinforced plastic
  • the use of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) for the production of the outer visible part is provided.
  • GRP glass fiber reinforced plastic
  • GRP also provides comparatively low thermal conductivity, which can reduce the overall thermal conductivity of the frame in addition to providing a possible cavity with insulation.
  • the already mentioned low thermal expansion of the fiber reinforced plastic allows a direct and easy connection with the adjacent inner frame profile.
  • This fixed connection can, as already described, for example, by means of screwing and / or Bonding or other suitable connection.
  • a decoupling of the outer visible part to account for different thermal expansions and to prevent thermal bridges between the example made of wood inner frame profile and the outer visible part made of GRP is not necessary.
  • a formation of thermal bridges is prevented by means of the GRP, so that no decoupling is also provided to take account of this aspect.
  • the adapter profile can be designed according to an embodiment for attaching a second seal, which seals the adapter profile against a window frame surface of the composite frame.
  • Conceivable for this purpose are the formation of a groove for receiving the second seal or other suitable devices.
  • the adapter profile may have a second leg which is disposed at a first end opposite the second end of the central portion.
  • the second leg may be arranged at the middle portion such that the adapter profile has a substantially Z-shaped, U-shaped or H-shaped cross-section.
  • the h-shaped cross section in this case represents a combination of the Z-shaped and the U-shaped cross section.
  • the second leg closes according to said cross-sections of the building exterior side surface of the disc.
  • the angled cross-sections stiffen the adapter profile and allow the provision of the rigid, self-supporting unit of adapter profile and disc.
  • the first leg is connected to the inner sash profile, for example.
  • the first leg extends substantially in a plane parallel to the room-side disk surface.
  • the first leg thus has a building inside surface, by means of which the adapter profile can be connected to the inner sash profile. This can, as described above, also be done by means of screwing and / or gluing or in another suitable manner.
  • connection of the adapter profile with the inner sash profile can be carried out such that the disc is not in contact with the inner sash profile, but spaced from this and a joint between the two elements is formed.
  • a suitable insulating material may be arranged to isolate the sash profile relative to the disc.
  • the adapter profile is made of a material which has only a very low thermal expansion or a thermal expansion substantially corresponding to the disc, so that a firm or rigid and substantially peripheral connection of the adapter profile with the disc without the occurrence of Tension in or between the individual elements is made possible.
  • a high-strength and stiff material it is also possible to form various thin-walled cross-sections for the adapter profile.
  • the adapter profile is therefore preferably made of a material that can be selected from a group comprising fiber reinforced plastics such as glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP).
  • fiber reinforced plastics such as glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP).
  • GRP glass fiber reinforced plastic
  • CFRP carbon fiber reinforced plastic
  • the proposed for attaching a second seal groove near the first leg for example, from the first leg and an extension which is arranged parallel to the first leg on the adapter profile, are formed.
  • the opening direction of the groove thus runs parallel to the orientation of the first leg.
  • the groove on the first leg may be in another suitable one as well Way executed and / or be aligned in another direction so that it can seal the adapter profile against a frame surface of the composite frame.
  • a second seal for example a seal with a sealing lip
  • the second seal or possibly the sealing lip thereof extends up to the obvious outer visible part and structurally acts on a surface of the outer visible part arranged within the composite frame and in this way seals the adapter profile against the outer visible part.
  • the arrangement of the second seal between the adapter profile and the outer visible part thus counteracts the formation of thermal bridges.
  • both the outer visible part and the adapter profile are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic.
  • a very low thermal conductivity is achieved, which significantly reduces or prevents the formation of any thermal bridges by the arrangement of the second seal between the adapter profile and the outer visible part.
  • an inner side surface of the sash frame profile and an edge surface of the outer visible part and / or an edge surface of the first seal are arranged substantially in a common plane so that a common surface extending through the disk or appearing to extend through the disk Frame is illustrated.
  • the inner side surface of the sash profile represents the adjacent to the disc surface of the sash profile.
  • the above-described arrangement of the side surface of the sash profile and the edge surface of the outer visible part can be achieved, that the respective building inside and weather side viewing surface of the composite frame are formed substantially the same size.
  • the building exterior side surface of the outer visible part possibly with a protruding seal or a sealing lip, is the same size as in the direction of the building inside (in the case of closed composite frame) provided viewing surfaces of the sash profile frame and the frame profile together. In a cross section through the composite frame, this corresponds to a same height of the outer visible part including an optionally attached first seal and the sash profile frame together with the adjacent frame profile.
  • a weather-protected frame profile for windows or doors is provided according to an embodiment, the room side, for example, consists of wood and thus meets high demands on the building design. Due to the stiffening, load-bearing design of the diegelholzrahmens by the outside patch and permanently connected to the wellgelholzrahmen circumferential window profile, for example, fiberglass, the design of a frame with very small view width (slim frame) is possible, so that modern design claims can be satisfied. Due to the exemplary use of glass fiber reinforced plastic for the window profile and the outer visible part of the heat transfer coefficient of the composite frame is improved compared to a wood-aluminum window. Due to the low thermal conductivity of the GRP, no thermal bridges occur in the frame cross-section.
  • a direct connection of the window fittings with the adapter profile is conceivable.
  • the adapter profile does not enclose the disc completely or substantially circumferentially. Rather, the adapter profile may also include the disc partially only in any number of sections or be connected to the disc, such as in the field of load transfer on the window fittings. This means that the substantially circumferential adapter profile can have any number of interruptions.
  • the fitting of fittings is comparable to a frameless glass door conceivable in which the fittings are spaced from the edge of the disc are mounted, with no use of the edge of the disc (partially) comprising Adapter profile is necessary.
  • Adapter profile is necessary.

  • the representation with three sealing planes is exemplary; the window manufacturer knows that at least one sealing plane is to be provided between the two frame sections which are movable relative to each other (primarily the middle sealing plane here) and furthermore that any number of sealing planes (two, three, four or even more) is conceivable.
  • the outer visible portion 124 of the frame 112 is designed as a hollow profile with a cavity 135 which can be provided with an insulating core to improve the heat transfer coefficient of the composite frame.
  • An inner side surface 116a of the sash frame profile 116 and an edge surface 124c of the outer gland 130 border at substantially the same height (indicated by the line A-A) flush with each other, thereby forming a frame apparently extending through the disc 120.
  • the aspect of extending through the disc frame is achieved in the illustrated embodiment by a suitable design of the outer viewing part 124 and the seal 130 and the sash profile 116 and the frame profile 122, which is characterized by equally large free viewing surfaces both room inside and building outside (shown through the building exterior side height of the composite frame h1 and the room-side height h2).
  • an inner surface 120d of the edge composite of the disk is also arranged substantially at or slightly below the height AA. In this way, results in an extending through the disc, seemingly continuous surface.

  • FIG. 5 shows one of the FIG. 1 comparable inventive composite frame 510 in a perspective sectional view
  • FIG. 6 shows the composite frame of the FIG. 5 in a perspective sectional view in the open state.
  • FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the FIG. 1 similar composite frame 210 with a frame 212 and a sash 214, which meet at a total of three sealing levels 230, 232, 234 in the closed state.
  • the main difference between the composite frame 210 of the FIG. 2 and the composite frame 110 of FIG. 1 is that the frame profile 222 of the FIG. 2 in from the embodiment of FIG. 1 deviating manner is attached to a projecting from the outer visible part 224 to the building inside profile section 225.
  • FIG. 3 shows a horizontal section through a composite frame 310 according to the invention, which integrates two adjacent windows.
  • the horizontal section of the FIG. 3 shows a post 326 of the frame 312 (as part of the outer viewing part 324).
  • the composite frame of the FIG. 3 comprises a first wing frame 314.1 (in the illustration of Figure 3, left) and an adjacent second wing frame 314.2 with corresponding discs 320.1, 320.2.
  • Each of the sash frames 314.1, 314.2 according to the invention consists of a sash profile 316.1, 316.2 and an adapter profile 318.1, 318.2 firmly connected to the sash frame profile 316.1, 316.2.
  • the frame 312 of the composite frame 310 of FIG. 3 has a frame profile 322 fixedly connected to the outer visible part 324, which essentially revolves around the casement profile 316.1, 316.2 and forms a post in the region between the two casement profiles 316.1, 316.2 (sectional view of FIGS FIG. 3 ).
  • the fixed connection between the frame profile 322 and the outer visible part 324 takes place, for example, by screwing 323.

  • the "fixed wing frame" 414.2 of the embodiment of the FIG. 4 be designed also openable; this would mean that it can only be opened when the left wing frame 414.1, which overlaps the building inside, is already open.
  • the composite frame 410 differs from the FIG. 4 insofar as the frame profile is formed circumferentially around both sash profiles 416.1, 416.2 and in the cutout view of FIG. 4 is therefore not visible, since in the area of the forend 425, where the two sash profiles 416.1, 416.2 meet, no frame profile is provided.
  • the "fixed sash profile" 416.2 assumes the function of the frame profile, since in the illustrated embodiment it is firmly connected to the outer visible part 424. (However, this approach is no longer applicable in the case of an openable right sash 414.2.)
  • FIG. 7 shows one of the FIG. 1 essentially comparable cross section of a further embodiment of a Composite frame according to the invention with a frame extending through the disc.
  • the edge surface 124c of the outer visible part or the seal 730 arranged there is also arranged at the height A-A.
  • the surfaces lie substantially in a common plane or at the same height (A-A) and result in a common surface extending through the disk or a frame apparently extending through the disk.
  • An arrangement of the inner surface 720d of the edge composite of the disc essentially in this plane or slightly below the plane further enhances the resulting impression.
  • the outer visible part 124 additionally surrounds the inner window frame profile and has a stabilizing or stiffening recess 740 of the cavity 735.
  • the shape of the first seal 730 also differs from the in FIG. 1 illustrated seal 130. A match of heights h 1 and h 2 off FIG. 1 However, due to the structural differences, it is no longer possible.

  • the post area continues in the illustrated Embodiment of the outer visible part 824 and the frame profile 822 of the openable window together.
  • the outer visible part 824 and the frame profile 822 provide an additional receptacle for the adjacent fixed field window 820.2 in the illustrated post area.
  • the 8 shown composite frame 810 is thus designed to accommodate two adjacent windows, which adjoin the outer visible part 824 of the frame 812.
  • the disc 820.2 is clamped between a pressure seal 841 and a portion of the outer viewing part 824 in the illustrated embodiment.
  • the fixed field window 820.2 can also be carried out as an openable window sash.
  • the frame 822 and the outer visible part 824 (in the illustrated area) are designed as a forend.
  • FIG. 8 differs in an alternative embodiment of the outer viewing part 824 and the fixed connection of the fixed field window with the frame without the use of an adapter profile for the fixed field window.
  • the disc of the fixed field can also be mounted by means of an adapter profile on the frame.
  • FIG. 9 shows one of the FIG. 1 similar cross section / vertical section through a further embodiment of a window with a composite frame 910 according to the invention in the installed state.
  • FIG. 9 differs from FIG. 1 essentially in the attachment of the outer visible part 924 on the frame profile 922 by means of a screw 923 (indicated by dashed lines). The screws used for this extend in contrast to FIG. 1 through a portion of the outer viewing part 924 to the frame profile 922.
