Definitions
- the present invention relates to a filter bag, in particular for vacuum cleaners, with a bag formed from air-permeable filter material, on which an inlet opening for air to be filtered is formed.
- filter bags for vacuum cleaners which have an interior for receiving dust, and may be formed as a flat or block bottom bag.
- a filter material paper or a nonwoven fabric is used, with multi-layer filter materials are used for effective filtering. This dust particles can settle with increasing filling just in a fine filtration in the outer region of the bag, resulting in a blockage. As the filling increases, therefore, the air volume flow conveyed through the filter bag decreases.
- the US 5,658,362 shows a vacuum cleaner bag, in which in Fig. 18 adjacent to an inflow opening, a deflection is disposed within the vacuum cleaner bag. Thereby, an incoming air flow can be deflected, so that a flow through the vacuum cleaner bag is achieved in the longitudinal direction.
- the volume flow drop at an increasing filling of the vacuum cleaner bag is not significantly reduced by a deflection element designed in this way.
- the US 3,370,405 discloses a vacuum cleaner bag made of a filter paper, which has an intermediate wall in the interior.
- a strip is glued to opposite longitudinal edges with the filter paper of the vacuum cleaner bag on the inside, which is relatively expensive to manufacture.
- a passage opening is formed, which is formed at an opposite end to an inflow opening.
- the intermediate wall thus forms a kind of impact protection, but is formed by the subdivision with the relatively narrow partition only an elongated inflow, which can not prevent a significant drop in the volume flow with increasing loading of the vacuum cleaner bag with dust. Because in the inlet channel dust can hardly accumulate due to the flow conditions.
- the filter bag comprises a bag having an interior partitioned into at least two chambers.
- the incoming air can be prefiltered in a first chamber and filtered in a second chamber. This increases the available filter area and prevents the area of the fine filtration from quickly becoming clogged when the filter bag is filled. As a result, the effective filter performance of the filter bag can be extended.
- the partition wall is designed as an intermediate wall which is fixed on three sides to a side seam of the filter bag and on a fourth side, an open transition between the first chamber and the second chamber is formed. Because for the present purposes, it is not necessary to separate the two chambers hermetically from each other, but a certain volume flow of air can be quite exchanged between the first and the second chamber.
- a first chamber for coarse filtering of the incoming air and a second chamber for fine filtering of the air exiting from the first chamber is used.
- larger dust particles can be prefiltered and they can not clog the pores of the fine filter.
- a partition has a density gradient and is designed to be more open on the upstream side than on the downstream side.
- coarser and finer dust can be retained and stored on the partition, so that the remaining filter material of the bag is less heavily loaded with dust.
- multilayer materials in particular using spunbond, meltblown and volume nonwoven fabric, can be used.
- the partition wall between the first chamber and the second chamber has a greater air permeability than the filter material of the bag. It can also be a material with lower air permeability or the same material used as the filter bag. This makes it possible to produce a filter bag with two chambers with a few elements.
- the partition wall can be designed to be elastic and are stretched with increasing filling, wherein the air permeability in the stretched state is greater than in the unstretched state. Then it is ensured that the filter bag can be completely filled, and the first chamber does not unnecessarily limit the filling volume.
- Non-woven fabrics, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics or foam rubber can be used as the dividing wall.
- the first chamber is connected to the second chamber via at least one bypass opening.
- the partition wall is formed substantially rectangular and fixed in the region of the holding plate on this or the filter bag via a weld. Because when the air flow pushes the partition in the direction of the ground, the fixation on the upper layer of filter material or the holding plate prevents the partition from sinking too far down to the lower layer of filter material.
- the partition wall comprises a predetermined breaking point, which allows a separation of the partition wall at a predetermined filling. Then it is ensured that the filling volume of the filter bag is not limited by the volume of the first chamber, but the filter bag can be used in its entirety.
- a filter bag 1 comprises an upper layer 2 and a lower layer 3 of filter material, which are welded together at their edges 4, wherein the filter bag 1 is formed as a flat or block bottom bag. The side edges can also be folded.
- the filter material can be made of a single or multi-layered Nonwoven fabric or paper may be formed.
- a holding plate 5 is provided made of cardboard or plastic, in which an inlet opening 6 is arranged for air to be filtered.
- a partition wall 7 in the form of a bag is arranged, which forms a first chamber 9, which is connected to the inflow opening 6 on the holding plate 5.
- the partition wall 7 is surrounded by a second chamber 10 which fills the remaining part of the space between the upper and lower layers 2 and 3.
- the bag-shaped partition wall 7 is made of a stretchable material, such as an elastic woven or knitted fabric, which can stretch with increasing filling or due to air resistance.
- the dividing wall 7 can also be formed by nonwovens, such as spunbond nonwovens or carded nonwovens or by foam rubber.
- one or more bypass openings 12 may be recessed, so that the incoming air from the first chamber 9 can flow into the second chamber 10.
- the partition wall 7 consists of a very air-permeable material, so that the air entering through the inlet opening 6 is only freed of coarse dirt particles. Subsequently, the air enters the second chamber 10, wherein a complete filtering of the air through the upper layer 2 and lower layer 3 is made of filter material. Due to the partition wall 7 as a pre-filter, however, it is possible that the pores of the layers 2 and 3 of filter material do not clog up so quickly.
- partition wall 7 may be provided with a predetermined breaking point, so that tears from a certain degree of filling of the bag and the air can then flow largely unhindered into the chamber 10. Then occurs, although the adverse effect that even coarse dirt particles enforce the fine pores of the layers of filter material 2 and 3, but this type of constipation takes place at a later date than if no partition 7 would be provided.
- the bypass opening 12 can be arranged so that incoming air can escape through the bypass opening only when it is deflected from its direction of entry. Because then, due to the centrifugal forces already a filtering can be achieved, with coarser dust particles within the bag-shaped partition Hang 7 and the remaining air passes through the bypass opening 12 in the second chamber 10.
- FIGS. 2A to 2C is a second embodiment of a filter bag 1 'shown, in which the layers 2 and 3 are formed of filter material and the holding plate 5 with the inflow opening 6 as in the first embodiment.
- the subdivision of the interior of the bag into a first chamber 9 'and a second chamber 10' does not take place via a bag-shaped dividing wall but through a dividing wall 7 'which is fixed to the layers 2 and 3 on opposite sides.
- the partition wall 7 extends over the majority of the interior and is fixed to three side edges 13, 14 and 15, wherein the partition wall 7 when welding the filter layers 2 and 3 in the edge region can also be set with.
- a transition 16 between the first chamber 9 'and the second chamber 10' is formed, so that a complete filling of the filter bag 1 'is possible.
- the coarse dust in the incoming air can settle on the partition wall 7 ', so that it does not immediately clog the fine-pored filter material of the layers 2 and 3.
- a modified partition wall 7 " is provided, wherein the filter bag is otherwise designed as in the preceding embodiments
- the partition wall 7" is welded only at one side edge 13 over the entire length with the layers 2 and 3, and is at the opposite Side fixed with a strip 18 on the upper layer 2 of filter material by a welding or gluing.
- the dividing wall 7 " is trapezoidal in the region of the holding plate 5.
- the inflowing air is first directed against the dividing wall 7", which is held up by the attachment to the strip 18 and the lower chamber 10 "is not closes.
- the incoming air can pass from the first chamber 9 "through the trapezoidal configuration of the dividing wall 7" into the lower chamber 10.
- the strip 18 can have a length of, for example, 5 to 50 mm and only over a part of the width of the filter bag extend, preferably by less than 50%.,
- the partition 7 "can with the fixation by the strip 18 while rectangular as in FIG. 2 be educated.
- holders or spacers for fixing the dividing wall 7, 7 'and 7 " can additionally be used in the filter bag
- the dividing wall 7, 7' and 7" can be provided with predetermined breaking points, so that at a certain degree of filling or a predetermined load Tearing takes place and the second chamber 10, 10 'and 10 "is used in each case as a filter room.
- FIG. 4 is shown a graph of the suction volume flow at a certain dust load. In a vacuum cleaner of a commercially available device, the suction volume flow was measured at different filling.
- the line reproduces the measurement results for a standard bag made of five-ply non-woven material with a layer of spunbond, nonwoven, spunbond, meltblow, and spunbond.
- the decrease in the suction volume flow is greatest with increasing filling.
- the pores of the fine filter layer increase the fastest and the effective cleaning performance decreases.
- the line 21 shows a filter bag in which an inner bag is provided.
- the bag is made of the same material as the standard bag, with an inner bag made of spunbond with 12 gr. Per m 2 and a width x length of 120 mm x 275 mm in the flat state is also introduced.
- the inner bag is arranged transversely to the direction of use of the dust bag in the device and centrally to the inflow opening in the bag and has on the inner bag outer sides two 20 mm diameter bypass openings, which are arranged towards the bag tip, as shown schematically in FIG FIG. 1 is shown.
- the line 22 shows a standard bag, in which accordingly FIGS. 3A and 3B a partition 7 "is inserted, wherein the partition wall 7" from a 60 gr. per m 2 polyester carded web and has a width x length of 200 mm x 275 mm and is welded at its sides and the end to the weld of layers 2 and 3 of filter material.
- the trapezoidal tip is connected as a strip with the upper layer 2 of the filter bag and the trapezoidal legs fall off at an angle of 30 ° to the side.
- the lines 21 and 22 show that by inserting a dividing wall into a filter bag, the suction power can be kept relatively high, especially with larger fill levels. This is mainly due to the fact that the fine pores of layers 2 and 3 of filter material do not clog as quickly as with a standard bag.

Description
- Figur 1
- eine schematische Ansicht einer nicht zur Erfindung gehörenden Ausführungsform eines Filterbeutels;
- Figur 2A, B, C
- mehrere Ansichten eines Filterbeutels gemäß einer modifizierten Ausführungsform eines Filterbeutels;
- Figur 3A und 3B
- zwei Ansichten eines erfindungsgemäßen Filterbeutels, und
- Figur 4
- In
