Abstract

Dans un mode de réalisation de cette invention, un canal d'une trame du signal audio est divisé en plusieurs blocs en fonction d'une hiérarchie de subdivision, laquelle possède plus d'un niveau, chaque niveau étant associé à une longueur de bloc différente. Au moins deux de ces blocs ont des longueurs différentes. Une première information de subdivision indiquant un nombre de niveaux dans la hiérarchie de subdivision peut être générée et une seconde information de subdivision indiquant que le canal a été divisé en blocs peut être générée. La longueur de la seconde information de subdivision dépend la première information de subdivision.
